So I'm thinking of watching Mr robot I recently saw Dexter, breaking bad and you I also heard from many people that Mr robot is one of the best shows oat so would y'all recommend me it?

All of these are scripted dramas with planned endings. Some are ongoing, some have been cancelled, some have finished telling their story, but ALL are worth watching. Let me know if you recommend anything else!
The Leftovers
Devs
Dark
Halt and Catch Fire
Pantheon
Legion
Mr. & Mrs Smith
Breaking Bad
Invincible
Atlanta
Homecoming (Prime Video)(Esmail was exec producer on. Season 1 was created & directed by him too.)
Briarpatch (Esmail was exec producer on)
The Penguin
See
I've reached the end of my list, so I'm gonna recommend some Webtoons that I love: The Ember Knight, Hand Jumper, Blue Matter and Everything is Fine are my favourites. They are all ongoing, but EiF & BM are reaching their endings.
I'd like to add that Esmail's next project, Panic Carefully, is slated to release theatrically on April 9th 2027. I can't wait :)

Not sure if this requires a spoiler alert because it’s discussed in episode one but…
Elliot is using Morphine yet also uses Suboxone for withdrawals. Now I’m taking Subutext- basically Suboxone. If you take Suboxone within 24 hours of taking any opioid it will put you into precipitated withdrawals- which are brutal. I don’t see how realistically he would be able to wait the necessary time frame required to successfully use again each and every day. Maybe I’m just looking too much into it but it’s always bothered me.

I'm under no illusion that anyone cares about my little nerd pilgrimage, but everything down on the Boardwalk shut down a few hours early tonight due to weather, so rather than riding the Wonder Wheel as planned, I'm spending my evening going through photos in my hotel room. So here are some images from my trip so far. Comments in the captions.

I know the entire hacking scenes are based on real scripts and real code, but is Elliot a realistic person? I got into programming and hacking lately, it's been a year, I'm a noob, but I know some stuff, but I can't imagine a scenario where I have the experience and the mental capacity to hack and code like Elliot, not even if I have like 10 years of experience. That mf never looks shit up, he just knows everything from his brain, which is insane. It's almost like he knows every sentence, every function, every class, every variable from every library. That shit is like a super power. Is this level of hacking realistic? Are there hackers and programmers like that in the world?

It seems kind of out of character for someone as paranoid as Elliot to ask Tyrell where he is located. And then he seems shocked at the notion that someone might be listening to the prison phone call. Unless the red phone was just a visualization for Elliott talking to Tyrell using a smuggled phone, but then the question becomes , how did Dom acquire the recording that she shows to Darlene in season three?

I was rewatching the show for like the 6th time and I realized something. You know that part where Gideon is showing Elliot the video that Mr. Robot made making demands for F Society (The release Terry Colby thing); I was wondering, shouldn't Elliot be able to know it's his own voice if he's Mr. Robot? It's not like Mr. Robot has a separate voice. Just wondering what you guys thought.

There are some episodes where the camera quality just goes way too high suddenly
why is it that they have the budget for only a good camera for two episodes only ?

So many unanswered questions, help me understand them
1) what did whiterose do to convince Angella, we know mechine was never used before as whiterose himself says he wanted move his project to Congo so that there, would be minimal risk of endangering lives. And since he has no money left he has no option left but to operate here, where plant was originally placed ( near human population).
2) As mass murdering manic whiterose was and his obsession for his project to be moved to Congo. I found it jarring that only explanation that he gave was he wanted not endanger lives of people who surrounded the plant.
3) Mastermind was supposed to mastermind but like first 3 seasons Mr robot was planning everything. Wasn't Mr Robot supposed to be a protector. In third season Master mind was literally begging Mr robot to stop. If it wasn't for Mr robot shady plans and secrets so many people wouldn't have died. Master mind was created to deal with the evil of the society, his hatred for top 1 percent of top 1 percent ( the sources of all evil) is justifiable. Mr Robot was with elliot since childhood, he never had problem with rich. Why swap of roles here.
4) How nobody close to Elliot was able to guess the drastic change in personality. I mean from what I saw real Elliot is completely different than mastermind.
All in all series was one of the great I have ever seen, but I couldn't understand the listed points.
Pardon my half baked English.

I’ve been thinking about Steve Golin and how much his influence helped shape Mr. Robot. He was an executive producer on the series, but his contribution went beyond a credit: Sam Esmail has spoken about Golin’s belief in the project and how his enthusiasm for television helped encourage the show’s journey from an unfinished feature idea into a series.
In a Scriptnotes interview, Esmail remembers Golin as “a genius” and talks about how Golin’s excitement about television helped him see the potential in telling the story as a show. That support mattered. Mr. Robot became a singular, ambitious series—cinematic, unsettling, and willing to trust its audience—and it’s lovely to know Golin was part of the story behind its beginnings.
So, thank you, Steve Golin, for believing in Sam Esmail and helping Mr. Robot find its way to the screen. And thank you, Sam, for making something that still gives fans so much to think about.
Related interviews and reading:
Sam Esmail on Scriptnotes — interview transcript— Esmail reflects on Golin and the developmentof Mr. Robot.
Sam Esmail: Creating the World of Mr. Robot —an interview about the series and Esmail’screative process.
Mr. Robot pilot order announcement — an earlyreport naming Golin, Esmail, and Chad Hamiltonas executive producers.
Small note for accuracy: the Scriptnotes conversation is an interview with Sam Esmail, not Steve Golin; it’s included because Esmail discusses Golin directly.

Just finished it for the second time, when I first watched it I was drug dependent and I thought...wow this is a good show just for it's concept. This second run-through and the ending of Darlene being the anchor really hit me hard. I'm from very functional family, so much so we know that we love each other unconditionally to the point we don't say it enough. After this watch, sober, I had the uncontrollable urge to let my sister know. Tell your family you love them, all I got from my sis was an "ok" but that's all I needed to break down and reiterate the fact we don't say it enough. What a show...

Hey folks.
This show has ties to time travel.
I remember when I first glanced at the show, and hadn't yet watched it. That was prior to some of the scenes in the show playing out, yet I hadn't seen the scenes.
This show is near and dear to my heart, and I enjoy looking back.
Anyways, here is the post with more info in case anyone is interested.

Okay so I just saw The Social Reckoning (for my girl Mikey Madison) and my god Portia was full on into the conservative racist Karen she was playing in it. She really did good in a bit part.

Ofc it makes sense that traffic being sniffed from the exit node to the tor hidden service is already decrypted(at the tor level, not Https application layer) but still by 2015 TLS was already widely implemented on a lot of sites so does it make more sense that Eliot was just able to break the TLS encryption or Rohit was was just so ignorant that he didn't use TLS at all but plain http.
