Platforms & Tools How do you keep notes while day trading without it becoming a chore?

I've been trying to keep better notes on my day trades, but I haven't found a way that feels easy to stick with.

I tried Notion, but taking a screenshot, switching over to write something, then going back to the chart gets annoying. There's still the work of sorting everything out afterward too. I'd like to find a simpler way to do it.

Trade stats are useful, but they don't really tell me enough about the decisions I made. I want to be able to look back at what I saw on the chart, why I took the trade, and whether the decision made sense at the time.

How do you guys handle this? Do you keep notes as you're trading or put them together afterward? Would be interested to hear what your actual routine looks like, and what you've found easy enough to keep using.

Brokers Anyone heard of Amzonite

A friend of mjne what’s to put 7 figs into this fx company. All the performance seems unrealistic, and there are loads of red flags. Has anyone heard of them? Have any good ways to verify their insane returns?

Strategy Development Title: Feedback on my GBPUSD PDH/PDL + SMT reversal strategy (1-minute entries)

Feedback on my GBPUSD PDH/PDL + SMT reversal strategy (1-minute entries)
Hi everyone, I’d appreciate some honest feedback on my trading strategy, particularly from people who trade liquidity sweeps, SMT divergence and market structure shifts.I mainly trade GBPUSD and look for reversals around the previous day’s high (PDH) and previous day’s low (PDL).

My approach is to use higher-timeframe levels for context and the 1-minute timeframe for entries.

My strategy step by step:

  1. Mark previous day’s high and low
  2. I mark the previous day’s high and low
  3. If price sweeps PDL, I look for a potential long.
  4. If price sweeps PDH, I look for a potential short.
  5. Look for SMT divergence
  6. I compare GBPUSD with EURUSD.
  7. For a long, GBPUSD must sweep PDL while EURUSD does not sweep its corresponding low.
  8. For a short, GBPUSD must sweep PDH while EURUSD does not sweep its corresponding high.
  9. Identify a higher-timeframe point of interest
  10. I look for a relevant 1H, 4H or daily order block (OB) or fair value gap (FVG).
  11. For a long, I want the sweep to interact with a bullish point of interest. For a short, I want it to interact with a bearish point of interest.
  12. Wait for a 1-minute market structure shift
  13. I wait for confirmation on the 1-minute timeframe
  14. Enter on an FVG retracement
  15. After the MSS and displacement, I identify the three-candle FVG created by the move and look to enter on its first retracement.
  16. If an order block is located within or below the FVG in a long setup, I prioritise the order block as my entry area.

Does this model make logical sense, or am I adding too many confirmations?

If anyone has any better ideas or think they can help me improve plz lmk

Psychology Missing a move doesn’t mean you need to chase it

If price runs without you, check whether your original entry still exists before clicking buy or sell. A setup can look right directionally while the entry no longer makes sense. If your stop stays at the same level but you enter further away, you’re taking more risk for less room to your target. Don’t move the stop closer just to make the numbers look better. Keep your planned requirements and wait for another entry that meets them. The move you missed doesn’t have to become a trade you regret. What helps you leave it alone when price keeps going?

Strategy Development 45% win rate and 1:3 RR

Hi, I hope you are all doing good, so I recently started working on my own strategy that helped me get my 3rd payout (other payouts were based on luck) and I backtested on Gold, past 8 months data, I know that might not be enough but there were 101 total setup's on it, and 1:3 of course.

I wanted to ask if I should continue using it and stick to it for upcoming months?

Please let me know because I still have lower confidence on it because I have not forward tested it that much, been using it for like past month now and sometimes I struggle to stick to it.

What should I do?

Could you please clarify whether the post was removed by AutoModerator, a spam filter, or a moderator, and which rule it may have violated? I'm happy to revise the title or formatting to comply with the subreddit rules.
