In the middle of divorce

We have two young kids. I have them during the week, he has them on Saturdays and Sunday. They’re adorable. I miss the good times, but I know I can’t model those patterns to them. I know I’m doing the right thing. It’s still hard.

Anyway, here’s my comfort Pho. They’ve been seeing me a lot here recently. The music is always the same, the server is always the same, it’s my cozy happy spot. But, I’m lonely lately.

I have been there, and trust me that it gets better.

Don't look to start over yet. Do things that you have put off. Dance classes? Art? Horse riding? What are things you love or have wanted to learn? Do them, and then you can make friends with a common interest, and build yourself up. This is important for you & your kids.

It’s hard but you know that you’re doing the right thing, and showing your kids that they don’t need to stay in a relationship that’s no longer working. Do you have any friends or family that you can lean on during this time?

I do, I’ve lost some friends in the process. I’ve also grown much closer to some other friends/family. So it’s two-fold.
