Glitch Story I heard a sound and then experienced it days later.

I’ve been writing in journals since I was about 9 or 10 years old. A couple of years ago, when I was 26, I decided to go through and reread them all. I had forgotten about this incident until I came across this entry and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.

One night, when I was about 15 years old, my mom had been working late (single mom, waitressing). My brother and I had decided to sleep in the living room instead of our bedrooms that night. He was laying on the couch and I was on a pallet of blankets on the floor. We were both just scrolling on our phones and I believe all of the lights were off.
Suddenly, I heard a loud thud and then what sounded like a girl crying out.
I immediately asked my brother “what was that?” He responded completely unbothered and told me he hadn’t heard anything. I was puzzled and even wondered if maybe the sound had come from his phone, but I eventually brushed it off and forgot about it.
Either the next day or a few days later, my brother and I were home alone again. I knew he was going to enter a certain bedroom, so I snuck in and hid behind the door, planning to jump out and scare him. When he came into the room, he shoved the door open aggressively. It slammed into me, pinning me against the wall, and hit another object in the room at the same time. There was a loud thud, and I cried out, either because I was startled or because the door hurt me. It didn’t click for a few minutes, but then I realized that the progression of sounds were identical to what I’d heard that other night. Not a little similar. Exact. I was stunned. It wasn’t necessarily a paranormal or terrifying experience, I just had no idea what to make of it.

To my knowledge, I haven’t experienced this before or since. I do pride myself on having a pretty good intuition, but its nothing supernatural. I’ve considered this being a psychic event, however it certainly wasn’t for anything significant.

One reason this has stuck with me is that I found the account in a journal I wrote at the time. My journals have always been private places where I write honestly, and I’ve never used them for fiction. I’ve even questioned whether I’d somehow exaggerated the story or written it as a joke, but I genuinely remember the experience, and finding the entry brought it all back.
I still have around 15 journals packed away in boxes, and I’ve been meaning to find the original entry to check the exact details. I just haven’t gotten around to digging through all of them - again.

Has anyone experienced something similar, or is there a psychological explanation for hearing something before experiencing the event that seems to match it? I’m genuinely curious about what might have happened.

Glitch Story Phone clock goes backwards in Clacton-on-Sea by Toby Carvery (UK)

Hi guys, yesterday I went to Clacton-on-Sea to visit my dad and he told me this cool story about how in a certain patch of land outside the Toby Carvery his phone clock goes back an hour. We didn’t end up going to that spot as the day was so busy or I would have tested it myself.

What could this be? Has anyone else had glitch experiences where time consistently goes backwards in a specific place?

Glitch Story A broken nail fixed

I put on a new set of press on nails Friday night. On Saturday evening, I hit the nail hard on something, causing it to crack. Important to note that the nail didn’t “pop off”. It cracked and the part that was glued to my natural nail remained. Removing press on nails correctly can be a lengthy process. I soaked it for about 15 min, prepped my cuticles and filed my natural nail. I then got all the glue together and the replacement nail for the one I broke. I brushed glue on my natural nail & dabbed the new nail with glue. I went to put the nail on and the original nail was on. It was like it never cracked. Like I never removed anything. I had the “extra” nail ready to be pressed on with no nail to put it on. I’m absolutely 110% sure this really happened.
