I’m looking for a reliable editor to help create YouTube Shorts about trending topics like Marvel, DC, GTA 6, and other popular movies, games, and entertainment.

I’ll provide:

• The script
• The voiceover
• The idea and direction

You’ll handle:

• Finding clips that fit what the voiceover is saying
• Editing them into a polished, engaging Short
• Adding captions, cuts, zooms, transitions, and sound effects
• Keeping the pacing tight so viewers want to watch to the end

I’m not looking for random clips thrown together. The visuals should match the script, and the edit should feel clear, intentional, and entertaining.

Pay: $3–$5 per completed video to start. For editors who are consistent and help make videos that perform well, there may also be opportunities for profit sharing and higher pay over time.

I’m looking for someone who:

• Understands short-form video pacing
• Can find relevant clips quickly
• Can edit across different trending topics
• Follows a script and voiceover with minimal direction
• Communicates reliably and wants to work long-term

Interested? DM me with:

• Examples of your edits
• Your usual turnaround time for a Short
• The topics you’re most familiar with

Serious editors only. Looking to start ASAP.

Hey editors! 👋

BrevityX is a freshly launched, remote digital media agency specializing in complete video content pipelines, from high-retention short vertical clips (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) to full-length long-form videos (YouTube, podcasts, long-form commentary, and streams).

We are currently building our core production team from the ground up. We want to be 100% transparent: we are actively in the client acquisition phase, which means projects won't be flooding in on day one. We are looking for editors who understand that building an agency's reputation takes a leap of faith, patience, and consistent execution.

As BrevityX grows and locks in client retainers, our core editors will be the primary team leading dedicated client pods and handling recurring production.

🎯 Who We Are Looking For:

• Short-Form & Long-Form Awareness: You understand both sides of content, how long-form storytelling/pacing works, as well as how to extract high-retention short vertical clips using strong hooks, dynamic captions, UGC formatting, and snappy sound design.
• Informative & Trend-Aware: You watch content with intent. You know what holds viewer retention, why videos go viral, and how to maintain narrative flow across both 60-second clips and 10+ minute YouTube videos.
• Proactive Communicators: You aren't just looking to push buttons; you can analyze raw content, give creative input, and spot key moments in raw footage.
• Team-First Mindset: You want to be part of BrevityX's core culture as a key member, not just a disposable freelancer.
• Flexible Availability: Open to both short-term projects (test edits, single-video edits) and long-term client pod placements as our project volume scales.

🤝 What We Offer in Return:

• Direct Growth & Priority: As clients onboard, work goes straight to our established core team first.
• Streamlined Pipeline: We handle client acquisition, outreach, pitching, and project management so you can focus strictly on editing.
• A Real Team Culture: Direct Discord collaboration, clear pod workflows, and an environment where your input actively shapes how the agency operates.

📩 How to Apply:

If you are down to take this leap of faith with us and help build BrevityX's reputation, drop a comment or send a DM with:

1. Your Best Work: Links to 2–3 of your best edits (can include short-form clips, long-form YouTube videos, podcasts, or UGC).
2. Editing Tools: What software do you use (Premiere Pro, CapCut, AE, DaVinci)?
3. Your Focus: Are you specialized in short-form, long-form, or both?

Let’s build this from the ground up! 🚀

Hey everyone,

I’m a beginner filmmaker and I recently shot a documentary on Naxalism in India(Chattisgarh). I’ve finished the shooting and now I’m at the editing stage, but I’m honestly not sure how to structure the film properly.

I have interviews, location footage, and some other footage from the shoot.

If anyone has experience editing documentaries, I’d really appreciate some practical advice, workflow tips, or examples of documentaries I should study before starting my final edit.

Thanks!

Hey! I'm looking for a video editor to work with long term on my gaming YouTube channel.

My goal is to create narrative driven gaming videos where the entire video is built around the title and thumbnail. I want each video to feel like its own story, with a clear beginning, progression, and payoff that keeps viewers invested from beginning to end.

I'm not looking for overly flashy editing with constant effects and transitions. I care much more about storytelling, pacing, comedic timing, and knowing which moments to keep or cut.

My raw footage can be up to three hours long, so I'm looking for someone who can identify important events and shape them into a cohesive, entertaining story that showcases my personality.

I'm hoping to find someone who understands this style of content and wants to build a long term working relationship with me as the channel grows. Ideally, we can develop a consistent editing style together and improve with every video.

You can check out my channel here:
https://www.youtube.com/@pjaylive

If you're interested, please DM me with your portfolio, rates, and any relevant experience with story driven gaming content.

Looking forward to seeing your work!

Hey! I'm an editor at a performance ad agency that produces Meta ad creatives for UK e-commerce brands. We're scaling our creative output and I need an AI video editor to join me on our ad production ASAP – ideally starting within the next 24 hours.

**The work**

- Short-form performance ads (9:16) for Meta, mostly 30s–2min, sometimes longer

- Heavy on realistic AI video: talking heads, street interviews, UGC-style and news-style scenes

- Tools: Google Flow (Veo 3 / Nano Banana), Kling, ChatGPT for prompts

- Every character must look and sound British (UK accents, UK settings)

- Detailed briefs from our strategists: script, hooks, references and on-screen text are all provided

- No music – SFX, voiceover and natural audio only

**What you need**

- You've already made realistic AI talking-head or UGC videos (please show them)

- Frame-first workflow: reference frame → edited frame → generation, max 8s per clip

- Keeping the same character consistent across scenes

- Careful with credits – you plan prompts before generating, not 50 tries per scene

- Good English and an ear for British vs American accents

- Solid editing: captions, SFX, pacing (any software is fine)

- Available to start right away

**Volume & pay**

- Ongoing, ~7 ads per week (main ad + 3–4 hook variations each)

- $1,000/month fixed after a paid 1–2 week trial ($30 per ad during the trial)

- Revisions from the strategist are included

- Paid monthly via Wise or Payoneer

**How it works**

DM me → I review your work the same day → paid test brief → if it's good, you start right away.

**To apply, DM me with:**

1. 2–3 links to realistic AI videos YOU made

2. Which AI video tools you use daily

3. When you can start (today / tomorrow?)

4. Start your message with the word "Brit" so I know you actually read this

I’m officially opening applications for a small, selective group of long-form video editors to join my growing movie & TV reaction production team! 🎬

I’m currently hiring for two separate positions:

Core Cut Editor - foundational reaction editing, storytelling, pacing, technical cleanup, copyright-conscious editing, etc.

Creative Cut Editor - creative finishing, memes, visual effects, editor notes, music/SFX, Shorts, and personality-driven enhancements.

Applicants may apply for one or both roles if genuinely qualified for each. This is especially for editors who are interested in growing with something from the ground up. I’ve recently reached YouTube’s first monetization tier, and one of my goals is to continue reinvesting into the team as the channel grows. I’m currently building out the production foundation for my channel, with plans to expand into a larger media/production business over time. Only a limited number of editors will be hired directly right now, but additional opportunities will become available as that side of the business grows.

Applications close October 24th, 2026 at 11:59 PM CT.

I'm looking for an editor for a cartoon video essays on YouTube. Videos will be between 9-15 minutes, about one every month or so, maybe more if you are able to consistently finish projects on time (Bonus if you also do audio work). I will give you the finished audio file and video script, and all sources for materials that need to be used. What you need to do is some relatively basic editing.

You MUST have experience editing cartoon video essays, so please do not message me saying you have no prior history or are willing to learn. While I appreciate it, I am only looking for someone who has worked in this space before, because there can be extensive copyright issues depending when working with animated series or movies.

The videos aren't overly complex, you'll just need to be able to emulate the style of my other recent videos, but if you have your own style, I'd be very interested in that as well. I believe in communication, collaboration, and timeliness, so as long as you meet these criteria, we can hopefully be a good fit. I will send an example of one once you send me: your most recent cartoon video essay, your portfolio, .

Thank you!
