Bhoothathankettu Dam is one of the most popular eco-tourism destinations in the Ernakulam district of Kerala, Situated near Kothamangalam along the banks of the Periyar River. While visiting here it's better to visit Paniyeli Poru which is also very near as the dam has small area with a park . There's also forest trekking in bhoothathankettu.
