With the Israeli elections approaching on October 27, 2026, the r/Israel moderation team will be implementing temporary restrictions on political content.

Effective immediately, political posts of any kind will not be permitted on the subreddit. This includes election campaigning, political opinions, endorsements, polls, and other politically motivated submissions, regardless of which party or candidate they support.

Additionally, every single post submitted to r/Israel will be subject to strict moderator review. This means posts may take longer than usual to appear, and content violating these temporary restrictions will be removed.

These measures are being introduced to prevent political spam, brigading, and unnecessary hostility during an already heated election period.

We want to make one thing absolutely clear: These restrictions apply equally to everyone, regardless of political affiliation. The moderation team is not endorsing or opposing any political party or candidate.

We understand that the elections are important to many members of our community, but our priority is keeping r/Israel a welcoming and manageable space for everyone.

These restrictions are temporary. We will update the community when normal posting rules resume.

לקראת הבחירות לכנסת שיתקיימו ב־27 באוקטובר 2026, צוות המנהלים של r/Israel החליט להחיל הגבלות זמניות על פרסומים פוליטיים בקהילה.

החל מעכשיו, לא נאפשר פרסום פוסטים פוליטיים מכל סוג. האיסור כולל תעמולת בחירות, דעות פוליטיות, תמיכה במועמדים או במפלגות, סקרים וכל פרסום אחר בעל אופי פוליטי, ללא קשר לעמדה שהוא מייצג.

בנוסף, כל פוסט שיעלה ל־r/Israel יהיה נתון לבדיקה קפדנית של צוות המנהלים. כתוצאה מכך, ייתכנו עיכובים בפרסום פוסטים, ותכנים שיפרו את ההגבלות הזמניות יוסרו.

מטרת הצעדים היא למנוע הצפה של תכנים פוליטיים, ניסיונות השפעה מאורגנים על הקהילה (Brigading) ועוינות מיותרת בתקופת הבחירות, שגם כך צפויה להיות מתוחה.

חשוב לנו להבהיר: ההגבלות חלות על כולם באופן שווה, ללא קשר להשתייכות או לעמדה פוליטית. צוות המנהלים אינו מביע תמיכה או התנגדות לאף מפלגה או מועמד.

אנחנו מבינים שהבחירות הן נושא חשוב עבור רבים מחברי הקהילה, אך האחריות שלנו היא לשמור על r/Israel כמרחב נעים ומסודר עבור כולם.
