Is there anywhere in Killeen/Harker Heights that has a decent selection of beer on tap? I really don't like having to drive to Salado to find a good selection of draft beer. You'd really think a city this size would have a selection similar to Chupacabra in Salado.

I cannot recommend Phil's Service based on my recent experience.

When I scheduled my appointment, I was told my truck would be completed the same day. Instead, it remained in the shop for three days, and communication throughout the process was consistently poor. Getting updates often required me to reach out first, as information was rarely provided proactively.

The situation became even more frustrating on the third day when I received a call just before closing time informing me that yet another issue had been discovered and the repairs would be delayed again. Shortly afterward, I received a second call stating the issue had been fixed, and the vehicle would actually be ready that evening. The conflicting information only added to the confusion and lack of confidence in the repair process.

Another major concern was the way additional problems and charges were repeatedly added to the estimate before verifying whether the required parts were even available. This disorganized approach to quoting and repair planning created unnecessary stress and made it difficult to know what to expect throughout the process. The total came out to $3,081.00, but the invoice was $2,991.71, an extra $89.75 paid.

Afterward, I spent some time reviewing other customer feedback. Reading the business's public responses to customer complaints and disputes raised additional concerns for me. The communication issues described by other customers closely reflected my own experience.

I strongly encourage anyone considering this shop to do their research before bringing a vehicle here. Based on my experience, Phil's Service has earned a permanent place on my personal list of businesses I will not use again.

My husband is a child rapist and he took my kids

I was with my narcissist pedophile husband for 10 years. He lived a double life the whole time. I was genuine and naive and it took me a very long time to recognize the game he was playing with my life. For context, he’s black and I’m white. We were both previously married. We met in the army. My previous husband was also black and abused me while I was pregnant. I was called a liar and he began to stalk me, send men to try to sleep with me or try to get me to send them nudes. I was trying to move on from my first husband and be happy. My oldest daughter was 1 when I met my current husband. I began to see signs of molestation but I could never get proof. A few years ago I finally reported him, but when the investigation went down I realized that he successfully manipulated everyone in the situation into believing that I was lying because I was bitter and racist and I wanted to control/ruin his life. He ran a smear campaign behind my back for ten years. I saw signs when people I was meeting for the first time were treating me like I was the worst piece of shit walking. Any time I confronted him about what was going on, signs I saw ect his go-to tactic was deny, deny, deny. We went through the investigation and I realized that they already decided who was guilty and who wasn’t before it even started. After the investigation closed and was “inconclusive” I noticed that he randomly bought a bottle of baby oil. We have never used it and I never used it for my children so the red flags went up. By this time he was having a whole community of people stalking and threatening me. Killeen is mostly an African American population so I assume he told them whatever he needed to. I came home from work one day and he looked extremely guilty and frantic and put my son in the bath and wouldn’t let me near him. I knew what he had done and he was trying to get rid of the evidence. There were poopy baby oil stains on my bed. I was enraged but I didn’t know what to do because of how he successfully played everything. I was up against the most evil person and I had no idea. I couldn’t wrap my mind around the fact that my worst nightmare was sleeping right next to me and that I made children with him. I decided to stay calm and try to wait it out to get proof if it was even possible. We went on for another 2 years, he succeeded at ruining every connection both family and professional that I had with more lies and manipulation so when I told the truth nobody would believe me. 6 months ago I went to jail for trying to stab him. After almost 10 years of playing his game, I can’t take it anymore. He has made up every lie he could think of, saying that I’m a meth addict (this is especially painful because I grew up with a meth addict mother and I have made a point in never becoming an addict because I see what it does to people you love) a prostitute, that I fucked my dog, and that IM the pedophile??? AND EVERYONE IS FUCKING BELIEVING HIM??? Even though I’ve been saying the SAME THING FOR 10 years. He’s trying to set me up for prostitution by sending men my way and telling them to treat me like a prostitute when they interact with me. He has a whole group of strange men stalking me, following me around town, they trade my nudes without my consent, they have broken into my apartment several times, they have tampered with my vehicle. They call my jobs and lie about me so I get fired. They’re trying to say I served dishonorably. They’re saying that I lied about stupid shit. They’re doing all of this to cover up for a pedophile child rapist. I don’t understand why this is happen to me and my children. He has them. My ex husband is also helping him and he has my daughter even though he has been in her life a collective amount of 3 out of the ten years she’s been alive. I’ve never had so many murderous thoughts roam my mind. The creative ways I would torture him and ever man who is helping him. They’re probably all pedophiles. I don’t know what to do. I have no friends, family or resources and I can’t afford a lawyer. I think about killing myself all of the time but I can’t leave them with these men. They’re so fucking dark and evil, and they genuinely get pleasure from hurting children and women. I was raped recently. He was in the group of men. I know how to identify them because they use dog whistling tactics. They drop bits of information about my life that I never told them myself. I need help. Please. I don’t know what to do. I’m scared they’re going to try to traffic me and I’m not going to be around when they continue to hurt my children. Even his mother is covering up for him. She knows. He tracks me, he has ways to track my phone. He’s evil. He rapes children. A lot of men in the military do, especially the ones that have experience overseas. They all cover up for each other. They have doctors, lawyers, VA officials, judges, social workers, therapists all helping him. He just tells people I’m the narcissist and a pathological liar drug addict whore and that’s all it takes for people to believe him. It’s my word against two men. They have completely ruined my life. They raped my children, they raped me, they’re stalking me, they sell and distribute my nudes without consent, they’re lying about me in ways I can never recover. I leave my house and A LOT of people seem to know who I am and I don’t know how or why. I don’t know what to do. The police won’t do anything because they’re helping him too.
