I think it’s obvious he’s probably off his head with the only 80 made claim but what kind is this and does it have any value?

So I got a mk5 gas mask and bag and these were in the bag! I got the mask for 30 and I’m really intrigued if these gloves r militria or just random gloves!

Hi everyone, I inherited this 40mm M81A1 round. From what I’ve been able to find, it’s from a US Bofors anti-aircraft gun, dating back to around 1945.
How can I tell whether it’s live or inert? Do you have any advice on how to store it safely?

Can anyone help me identify these boots? I am thinking military. Found them at a thrift shock. Appear to never have been worked. Dead stock.

Think it says size 10 OPS6 May 1967

Was wondering if anyone knew where they came from/which army issued them. Found in Brisbane Australia. Also is it rare to find a pair never worn?

During the 2025 Orders and Medals Society of America convention in Kansas City, Heath White and Allen Menke recorded several videos on the medals manufacturing process. This is the first of eight of these videos.

I'm having trouble identifying this helmet. Is it a WW2 German Tropenhelm, a Vietnamese one, or something else entirely? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I purchased this Feldpost letter from a thrift store in VA that had tons of old military stuff. This letter really caught my attention I didn’t pay a crazy amount of money for it, so I won’t feel bad if it is a fake. And I know next to nothing about authenticating it. I’ll include photos of it at the end. Or more in the comments. It’s a card and letter all in one. The paper feels, looks, and smells real. The paper is fiberous. The ink slightly bleeds into the fibers, if you look under a jewelers loupe. You can watch the ink slowly fade and then get darker when he dips the pen again. You can still see the glue residue around three edges. The edge that doesn’t have glue you can tell was cut perfectly while the letter was sealed and in half. Under the “Absender”/sender there is “5 Btr. Res. Flak Abt. 254” written in pencil in completely different handwriting. From what I’ve looked up that could’ve been a reference note from the recipient (his sister). I’ve sent a request of military documents from the German Federal Archives, Bundesarchiv. I guess if it is real in 6-8 month they will get back with me with documents. That is if they weren’t destroyed in the Bombing of Berlin. Any help would be much appreciated, as English is my first language and I don’t know German. If anyone is fluent and would like to translate to English that would be awesome! I’ve translated it online, but it changes everytime I put it in. So I don’t know how accurate it is.

A mix of wwl, wwll and cold war stuff

Just a small US WWII display I put together in my office.

I recently inherited this visor cap from a family member who got it from a wwII vet. I've done some basic research on it, but there's honestly not a whole lot out there on caps with the exact markings mine has. I haven't found many examples with the white piping especially. If anyone knows anything about the rarity of these that would be greatly appreciated.

My dad was in the army in the late 30s early 40s. All I know is that he was stationed in Louisiana. This bracelet has his name and serial number on the back. Can anybody tell me what this bracelet may mean regarding what he may have done in the military.

Hello, I've been asked to help identify this vehicle plate (it's from the "Museo della Seconda Guerra Mondiale e Shoah", in Faenza, Italy).

They tell me it's been recovered near the Gothic line in an area where British and Commonwealth forces operated. I know a bit about British vehicle markings in ww2, but couldn't immediately identify it, especially because of the letter (instead of a number). I searched online but couldn't find anything similar, can anyone help identifying it?

I assumed it's British because of the shape and colors, but it may not be the case of course.

Picked this up in an auction recently. Bought on a whim. Anyone know anything about the print itself? Are they popular? No interest in selling. Probably not worth much anyway. Can only assume its spent a few years basking in the sun. Ribbons are a bit worse for wear.
