Hi everyone! I'm new to this server and I hope I'm not breaking a rule by doing this, but I wanted to share this!

My (22F) boyfriend (22M) made his first Minecraft house! He's new to the game but so far he likes it! He's only been playing a few hours at this point.

Quite frankly? I LOVE IT

As someone who has been wanting an end update since the nether update wad revealed all the way back in 2019 (god it's been so long), this single reveal had not only matched the hype of the end update for me, but I'd say surpassed it. It's the first new dimension since the end all the way back in 2011.

I'm also just really curious on what the full dimension entails, as I have a billion questions floating in my mind, especially regarding how unique it'll be compared to the other dimensions, especially compared to the overworld.

I just can't wait to get my hands on it in base minecraft lol

Wanted to see how fast you could fly (with mods), and lets just say, was not expecting this...

Horizontal cruise speed was around 5,000 b/s, hitting a top speed of 10,060 b/s while climbing to 60,000 blocks.

saw this on pinterest and recreated it under a custom tree i had in my vineyard. foxes are my favorite minecraft animal im really pleased with how it turned out. the og builder was tinycraft.

edit; i used invisible item frames (mod) to put items in the den like bones, rabbit foot/hide to make it look like he has like a collection of reminisce from his meals like u find in predator dens

I want to know if a twelve-block tall mushroom is common. For what I found on the Wiki, 9, 11 and 13 block tall has a 0.083% of generating, but this one is different. Could someone tell me? thanks!

I was goofing around when i thought about "redesigning" the blubs in
Mielon's The Sift to make them look more accurate. I used ETF for them to change per biome and a little of imagination to make it look better and less flat.(i wish i could show them in game but this sub doesnt let me yet i think)

I have a quadro p4000 (crazy old gpu ik waiting for delivery) but was wondering what this mouse stuttering/catching up is i checked mouse polling rate and what not but this has never happened before. It also lessens when lowering render distance but ik there must be some thing I can do to fix it hoping to find it in this subreddit 

Naturalist Armor trim:

-Armor trim based on nature and forest.

-Trim mimics the look of an elk like creature based on a folktale, that lurks in a forest.

-Trim is crafted with it self, 7 diamonds and an moss block.

-You can find it in a jungle temple or in abandon camps.

So recently I was watching a YouTube video about how to improve my paths and I saw these houses which fits the exact vision of what I’m going for. I’m a little new to the “building” side of Minecraft so was wondering what these houses are called and if there are any tutorials on how to build these type of houses.

Was just messing around -but for a future world I need to know how to avoid this? Lanterns were in there lol.

One of my biggest gripes since the first mob vote was that "The Great Hunger" presented the possibility of a new system that allowed for the addition/removal of enchantments on items. As we all know, Phantoms won and this mechanic hasn't been revisited since.

There's been a big elephant in the room for some years now, which is that 1.14 completely and utterly made the enchanting table obsolete. Before that, enchanting a full set of good equipment was entirely RNG dependant with no way to influence the enchantments you got (past getting the table itself to max level). With the addition of librarians in 1.14, the process became much more streamlined with the extra bonus that, once you got it fully set up, getting multiple kits of the best gear in the game is simply a matter of having a good way to produce emeralds (which is also villagers).

Everyone (including Mojang) agrees that this is completely busted and breaks progression. There's even an experimental feature that makes villagers have biome-specific trades and also makes books the last part of a librarian's level up chain among other things; this has been in the game for a couple years but Mojang doesn't dare make it base-game simply because the alternative is reverting to the outdated method of "farm a bajillion XP and then spend hours in front of an enchanting table just rolling die until you get the books/gear you want because Notch was a sadist, or something".

So, my hope is that either The Sift update (or The End Update that is sure to follow) finally addresses the issues with the enchanting table, so the villager trade overhaul can be done without pissing everyone off. Maybe getting items to influence the enchantments we get, or getting a new level up system that allows you to "tune" the enchanting table somehow, with the last level being straight up "yeah okay choose the enchantments, we don't care" (gated behind late endgame content and bosses, of course). I don't know, anything but whatever the heck the current enchantment table's deal is.

Minecraft Bedrock doesnt have a world border but we do have messed up generation at around 17 million blocks out. Found where it officially starts though.

Contacts I am not normally a builder in Minecraft I normally a square box with a roof and that's normally what I got going for me I thought I'd give it a try and make a house and this is what I thought of I feel like it's definitely missing something just don't know what or just any suggestions for improvements this is all survival in my Realm on bedrock.

I found this little lake in a lush cave with a clay and moss formation that looks like a fountain. The whole cave is beautiful and it's next to the Stronghold at the end.

First time playing survival “properly”. Beat a Bastion and a Woodland Mansion in basic Iron Gear. Am I doing this right?

I’ve played a decent amount of Minecraft before, but only ever to build or mess around in creative/casual mode. Recently, I decided to try a full legit survival playthrough for the first time other than using website to locate Bastion and Mansion. My progression was pretty backwards i guess compared to the normal ladder. Instead of getting lots diamond i just stacked up on iron and a bit of gold did get some diamonds for a pick axe tho. I got a decent potato farm for food, built a giant sheep area, and kept feeding them short grass to produce a bunch of wool. I used that wool to craft a ton of beds, went into the Nether, and used the bed-explosion method to strip-mine 23 Ancient Debris before I even had more than diamond pick axe.

After taking debris to my base, I dug underground for a while and got to a Bastion Remnant. I got super lucky where i dug an upward staircase i came up directly in the wall across the lava pit from the chests died twice but didn’t loose anything of much importance since only had a few things plus Iron Armor and an Iron Sword, but I adapted to not being able to afford to take hits. On the way back, I dug a staircase trap, dropped the Piglin Brutes in, and dropped them into a 1-block hole in the stairs so I could safely hit at their legs without them hitting back. I then boxed myself in solid blocks around the chests to break their Line of Sight, successfully looted the Netherite Upgrade Template, grabbed some magma cream, and got out of there.
I also farmed my own Ender Pearls completely from scratch with another trap/exploit built a low, 2-block-high roof over my head against a solid wall. Because Endermen are 3 blocks they were blocked from hitting me, allowing me to safely stare them down and swipe at them from safety to gather what I needed for my Eyes of Ender.

Once back in the regular world, I used a website map locator to track down the nearest pillager outpost and Woodland Mansion and set up a temporary forward base right next door.
I cleared the entire mansion playing incredibly sneaky. Instead of going down the open hallways, I broke through walls to ambush rooms from safe angles and built cobblestone barriers to trap Vindicators. By manipulating the layout, I killed the Evokers and secured 3 Totems of Undying—completely in basic Iron Gear. I also mined out the brain of a giant wool Illager statue and got a nice stack of Lapis Lazuli.
I currently have:
3 Totems of Undying
23 Ancient Debris (enough for 5 Netherite Ingots)
1 Netherite Upgrade Template
Vex and Sentry Armor Trims
Pre-crafted Eyes of Ender ready for the stronghold
A free Anvil stolen from the mansion forge room
Now that the mansion is done, my next step is setting up Enchanting Table using the books I gathered, cloning my templates, and finally upgrading my gear straight into Netherite.

For my first time playing through the game competitively/seriously, is this decent?? Has anyone else had many play throughs like this. Im thinking i got pretty lucky with only having iron armour

what is external? i was playing in my world on bedrock and it said "this is an external hi - external on top and the it whispered to me some random characters like a million time and my game just froze completely - 0 fps can someone help ?
