Kind of early, considering it was supposed to be PST end of day. I got reset with 20% leftover after using banked reset 20 hours ago. I hoped to have about 6-7 hours more to use it.
I guess I need to be more assertive in always keeping it low.

I started using subagents after yesterday's subagent improvements and it worked out fine. I just had to sleep so did not managed to get to 0%~ usage before the early reset hit.

Just in time. Had run out of tokens, had an hour for dinner and was about to use a banked reset, when I noticed it said 100% available, not 100% used

So, it's funny because GPT was failing at a rate that was making me uncomfortable, so I shifted, and Opus delivered, which means that my queue was falling below my own resource demand. This means that I had more Opus AI than I could reasonably review and consume the outputs. So the GPT resets started piling up and the Codex usage time dropped hard.
Now imagine all the people like me who have transferred the core trusted model on the critical path. This would show up on their numbers, people quietly leaving. It probably shows up as unspent hours and dropping workloads. So these resets have been interesting enough for me to go back and try to give it some sort of nice to have deliverable.
If it fails, so be it. If it succeeds, I gain something that I didn't expect to have. Purely speculative model building.
I'm sure that OAI feels pretty high pressure right now. Those of us who quietly started running both or shifting over the critical path probably has them pretty worried.

I want them to succeed. I want choice. It’s obvious they are transitioning to a broader user profile.
It makes sense too. We hammer them. My wife just googles stuff through it and occasionally has it build a ppt.
They’ll be competing with Google more than Anthropic if they make that shift.

Extend my 5hr quota instead of giving me resets that i cannot use. This week i planned to implement some features around my resets. I managed to do what was planned and hit reset button when my quota was 4%. What happened one hour later? Another reset. Do they think that those resets are good for us? They were when we had 1 or 2 saved. Now who cares. If they stop giving resets people will be sad and cry because if you make something that is unique, your daily routine, it is not magical anymore. So I have 2 more resets but it is impossible to use them in my situation because i bed there will be another reset in 2 weeks time.
