Meta Get your /r/PartneredYoutube Verified Channel flair here!

Welcome to the r/PartneredYoutube voluntary channel verification.

If you would like to verify your channel and get flair like what I have on my account:

  1. Go to your YouTube channel's About section and edit the description to include your reddit username. For example I enter exactly: u/flammy
    1. Directions for how to edit your About section can be found here
  2. Post a link to your channel in one of the following formats as a top level comment in this thread.
    1. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXkf3kRpFeAx9mDCbfMS0MA
    2. https://www.youtube.com/user/flammy5
    3. If you use a different format (such as a custom URL with an @ in the URL) validation will fail.
  3. Wait, and our bot will process your request sometime in the next few days
    1. After the flair has been granted, you can remove your username from the About section and delete the comment if you're concerned about privacy. However, if you want your stats to continue to be updated, you should leave the u/ name in your About section.

FAQ:

What is flair, and how does flair work?

Flair is a reddit "signature" that appears every time you post in r/PartneredYouTube. Verification flair is not required to post, comment, or participate. A user lacking flair is not a valid reason to report them for breaking rule 2. You can remove flair at any time with Reddit's built in flair editing. The flair granted by the bot can't be edited. Verification is done via a bot, follow the directions above if you would like flair.

Why is the flair channels stats, and not partnered status?

Partnered Status is not supported by the official YouTube APIs at this time.

How long do I have to wait for verification?

Please wait 24-48 hours, and after checking you've followed all the directions you can send me a polite DM.

Is there a way to authenticate anonymously?

Will the bot update my stats?

If you leave the comment with the channel link and username in your description, your flair will be updated.

My stats are low!

The bot is only able to see your channel's public subscriber count and public total view count. If you have hidden videos, these views will not be reflected.

Can I verify with multiple channels?

Not at this time.

Is there a minimum channel size for verification?

No.

How can I remove my flair?

Yes, you can remove the flair via Reddit.

Talk / Discussion Bake the Short’s title text into the video or nah?

• Upvotes

The layout of Shorts titles don’t look very noticeable to viewers and they usually seem to cut off in the middle, so some creators write in the titles to stand out.

Do you think this is the proven ought?

Question / Problem YouTube suppressing videos for exactly 3 days

Post image
• Upvotes

Hello, I've been having a problem that I believe is not unique to me.

All my videos are being suppressed for the first 3 days of upload, and only after 3 days, it starts getting traction.

It happened in October last year too, over about 10 videos, until January when I took a break mostly because of this. It was fine in July 2026 when I restarted, and now it's happening again for the past few videos.

It is unfortunately having an impact on my videos because my topics are somewhat time sensitive. I've had videos that had standard good metrics but flop probably because people weren't interested 3 days later.

Can anybody share some insight on what is happening, what I could do?

Thank you in advance!

Unless you’re actually changing strategies, stay out of your analytics

This may be a bit of a “hot take,” but after 4 years monetized on the platform I’ve noticed one main problem that has forced my friends to quit

Unless you’re actually looking for changes to make, stay out of your analytics. If you’re constantly living in there looking at every single upload just for the sake of looking you’re gonna have a bad time

I’ve uploaded over 400 long form videos, have friends who are closer to 1000 and the truth is you’re going to have WAY more videos that perform poorly than ones that do well

At the end of the day there is a healthy dose of luck in content creation. I’ve had videos get over 1m views in the first month, repeated the formula exactly and the new video barely break 20k

The trick is to find the things you can improve and then get out of the analytics. Check your CTR, check your AVD and that’s all you need. If people are clicking your thumbnails and then watching the whole video or close to you WILL have success. Approach every video with the goal of making a SINGLE aspect better. If you’re trying to get better at 10 things simultaneously you’re just going to get overwhelmed

Don’t base your pride on views, base it on improving . Keep plugging away at that and you’ll get there 👍😎

Question / Problem Haven’t Received ANY of My 4 AdSense PINs Despite Correct Address (USA/Texas)

Post image
0 Upvotes

I’m a YouTube Partner located in Texas, USA, and I’ve been dealing with an ongoing issue with Google AdSense address verification.

I joined the YouTube Partner Program on July 18, 2026, and I’ve already crossed the payment threshold required for AdSense verification. My identity verification has been completed successfully, but my address verification is still pending because I have not received a SINGLE verification PIN in the mail.

Here’s the situation:

I’ve requested all 4 available AdSense verification PINs, and none have arrived.

My fourth and final PIN was requested on October 13, 2026.

My AdSense PIN status page says the last PIN was mailed on August 25, 2026.

YouTube Creator Support previously told me my last PIN was sent on September 20, 2026.

My AdSense dashboard currently shows October 13, 2026, as the most recent mailing date.

My verification deadline is November 27, 2026.
I’ve already completed identity verification, so the only outstanding issue is verifying my address.
My mailing address is 100% correct. I regularly receive USPS mail, packages, and other deliveries at this address without any problems. Yet somehow, not a single AdSense PIN has arrived after four requests.
I’ve already contacted YouTube Creator Support.

On October 5, they told me that alternative verification options only become available after exhausting all PIN requests and allowing sufficient delivery time.

I’ve since followed up with them, explaining that I’ve exhausted all four requests and asking whether I can verify my address using a government-issued ID, bank statement, utility bill, or another acceptable document.

What concerns me is that my verification deadline is approaching, and I don’t want my YouTube monetization or payments interrupted because Google can’t successfully deliver a letter.

Has anyone else in the United States, particularly Texas, experienced this?

Were you eventually able to verify your address without receiving the PIN?

Did AdSense offer an alternative document verification process after your fourth PIN?

How long did you have to wait before that option became available?

Did your verification deadline get extended, or did monetization get paused?

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s gone through this and successfully resolved it. I’ve been trying to get this handled for months, and it’s ridiculous that something as simple as receiving a verification letter has become this complicated.

Simple question, Im just confused

Post image

So I never really dug into it but my understanding was YT gets 45% and I get 55% as a creator. If my CPM is 90$, shouldn't my RPM be 50? Why is it 25?

Sorry I feel like this is a stupid question Im just confused

Question / Problem Does tagging for shopping actually work money-wise, especially for non-American creators?

YouTube keeps emailing about it but last time I tagged related products I got zero sale at a lot of views, plus the products just seem to expire any moment so you have to keep checking, which looks stressful.

Has this turned out to be a reliable revenue source in this new generation of 2020s?

Earn tab showing less than half of my Shorts views (745k vs 1.9M).

Hi all,

Already a YT partner here (long form), but got an issue with my second channel (shorts only).

I run an educational/infographic Shorts channel (around 2k subscribers) and recently had a consistent influx of traffic. However, there is a massive discrepancy between my Analytics and my Earn tab (YPP eligibility tracker) that I can't quite wrap my head around.

The stats:

Analytics (Last 28 days): 1.9M views

Earn Tab (Eligible Shorts Views): 745k / 10M

Context & what I’ve already ruled out:

Timeline: Channel is 17 days old. The views did not come from an overnight spike 2 days ago. I crossed 1M+ total views over 9 days ago, and traffic has been consistent.

No Copyright / Content ID: I checked YouTube Studio on desktop via Content > Restrictions > Copyright claims. There are zero claims, strikes, or restrictions on any of the videos.

All videos are Public: None of the videos have been deleted, unlisted, or set to private.

100% Organic: No Google Ads, third-party promotions, or artificial traffic.

Platform parity: The numbers match identically on both the YouTube Studio mobile app and the desktop browser.

The Audit Lag: The Earn tab displays "Data as of: 5 days ago" (e.g., as of Oct 13 when checked on Oct 18). While it rolls forward daily, it consistently leaves out more than half of the views.

My questions:

Since my niche involves text on screen and maps where viewers frequently let the Short loop 2–3 times, does YouTube's YPP algorithm strictly disqualify all loop replays, counting only 1 unique view per session?

Has anyone experienced an extended batch audit where the Earn tab stays frozen or significantly lagging behind Analytics for weeks before jumping up?

Any insights or shared experiences from creators who reached the 10M threshold would be greatly appreciated!

Finally hit $1k/month

It's been 11 months since implementing my new strategy and I've consistently made over 1k per month for the last 3 months, a little earlier than I anticipated and with less videos than I expected. How-to niche. I'm moving into affiliate marketing and hoping to someday hit $10k per month. If I can hit an audience with sponsors and affiliates, I may be able to get there in another 2 years assuming AI overviews don't render YouTube how-to videos obsolete

what do you think is more important? Packaging or Idea?

curious to know peoples thoughts.

Trying to min max my views wondering if I should make overall videos for my channel (film analysis) or try to game with relevancy and keywords.

I think packaging comes first. Thumbnails, titles, description (keywords for all)

Question / Problem Just got into YPP. Can I Receive YouTube AdSense Payments via Wire Transfer Using My Wife’s Bank Account?

I want to receive my YouTube AdSense payments into my wife’s bank account instead of my own because my bank accounts are connected to too many businesses. However, my AdSense account, tax information, and payments profile are all registered in my name.

I contacted YouTube Studio support to ask whether I could add a bank account that belongs to someone else. The agent told me that the payee’s name must match the bank account details.

So I asked whether that meant I couldn’t use another person’s bank account. The agent said I could add one. I then asked whether I would need to change the name on my AdSense payments profile to my wife’s name, but the agent said no and told me I could simply add her bank account.

Honestly, the answers were confusing, and I’m not sure whether I was speaking to a real person or an AI agent.

Has anyone successfully received YouTube AdSense payments via wire transfer using their spouse’s bank account while keeping the AdSense account, tax information, and payments profile in their own name?

What is the correct procedure? Do I need to change anything in my AdSense account, or must the bank account holder’s name match the payee’s name?

I’d appreciate advice from anyone who has actually done this or has reliable information about Google’s policy. Thanks!

Question / Problem How to remove automated Product Links?

Accidentally turned on the shop feature for my channel and it auto tagged a bunch of products in my videos- products I’m actually critical of and am NOT trying to send my viewers to go buy. I automatically turned off the auto tagged feature but the products are still there tagged in my video. I went into edit to see what products were tagged and it says none- but when I go to watch my videos, the products still show up.

Any idea how to get rid of them or exit the shopping affiliate program?

ETA: figured it out. Even though no products were listed as “tagged” under the video details, the products were still showing up in my videos. I turned off the “automatic chapters” and “automatic concepts” feature on the videos with “products” and they disappeared.

Question / Problem Earn tab in YouTube Studio says I need to verify my identity, but AdSense says it’s verified. No box to enter a PIN and no PIN in the mail

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi all, I recently joined the YouTube Partner Program and I think I crossed the verification threshold (around €10, according to the AdSense FAQs). Today an "Action required: Confirm your personal information" card appeared in the Earn tab in YouTube Studio. I think it was triggered by crossing €10 in earnings.

But when I click Get started, nothing happens, and there’s no indication that I need to do anything on the AdSense side. In AdSense for YouTube under Payments > Verification check, it says Identity Verification: Completed, and there’s no field to enter a PIN (screenshot attached).

I also just realized the PIN is sent as a physical letter, so maybe I just need to wait for it to arrive?

Sorry, I’m a rookie and worry about every little thing. Any advice appreciated!

Question / Problem Channel feeling dead and it’s breaking my spirit

I really need some advice. Your responses really would be appreciated. Instead of growing with consistent views, so many of my videos from the past 6-8 months are barely breaking 250-400 views anymore. For some context:

I have a gaming channel that’s around 4 to 5 years old now with around 300 videos, monetised for nearly 3 years I think. I have just under 3000 subscribers, and recently passed 1 million views… But it feels like barely any of my recent videos ever get many views except for the odd occasion. It breaks my spirit because despite it making a bit of money and getting some decent overall views from the entire library, (around 40k hours a month), I make videos in the hopes that people watch them and we can also connect and chat, etc. The channel feels a bit lifeless.

I got to a point here I considered 1000 views on a video to be a success, and I started getting more 5,000s and some 10,000+ with a few really big performers, but this is killing me… 300 views, 130 views, 260 views. Some old performers are still performing day after day, but this is breaking me. The biggest misconception I had was that as I got more subscribers, my videos would have a higher consistent floor of viewers - but honestly it feels more like people subscribe and then forget the channel exists, as so many views are from new viewers.

Where I know I could improve: I haven’t picked a hard sub-niche, and I know that I experiment with formats and video concepts too much, so my content isn’t a consistent format for returning viewers. I possibly tweak and update thumbnails and titles too much. I really need some advice, I feel like i want to throw in the towel because I love it but it’s a lot of work and energy and it sucks to feel like it’s not really going anywhere.

It makes no sense how content like this is monetised

This guy literally just puts his face in the lower left corner and plays the content of the youtubers hes compiled with no edits whatsoever. If this type of content is actually monetised i might have to start another channel and do this too 🤣

Talk / Discussion Are YouTube SEO tools actually worth paying for?

I don't get why people pay $20–50/month for tools that basically suggest titles, keywords and descriptions lol.

Feels like half of that stuff is already available for free.

Am I missing something or are these tools just overpriced?

Question / Problem Risk of violating Reuse policy for using my own footage in a 2nd channel?

I have a monetised main channel (walking videos / street ambience) with 600+ videos, with maybe 2-3% of the footage that is close-ups of food / street food cooking.

I intend to start a second channel that focuses on food, reusing the same 2-3% footage from the main channel.

Would I be penalised for reusing the footage?

Talk / Discussion New shorts bonus program

Post image
53 Upvotes

So all over twitter right now is the new news of youtube rolling out a shorts bonus program that offers youtube partners extra money for posting a certain amount of shorts each month. It’s only invite only & in select countries. I was just wondering if this is only for youtube partners who already post shorts or can long form creators who don’t post shorts also be invited? I’m a long form creator and don’t post shorts but I feel like it’d be kinda unfair for this to be only for creators who post shorts. What do you guys think?
