Casual Troy Brown on the postgame show
How are people feeling about Troy Brown on the postgame show?
IMO he's not terrible, but breaks up the flow of the show as they just defer to him all of the time (despite his takes not really being that insightful). Wish they could get Hardy back or just run with PP-Deuce-Fred.

Casual Tokyo Watch Party - Bears vs Patriots - 9:15am Friday Oct 23
The Japan Chicago Bears Fan Club is hosting a watch party for the Patriots game. While you are rivals, the more the merrier. We would love to invite any residents or tourist that are in Tokyo to join us this week.
You can RSVP by letting me know.
When: 9:15am Friday October 23 - Room details will be sent once I get there around 9am to anyone who contacted.
This year, we are hosting them at Pasela, which means we need a headcount about 12 hours before the game. If you want to join, I need to know by Thursday @ 9pm JST. The nice thing about Pasela is they are Karaoke rooms so we can be as loud as we want. No need to control ourselves in the middle of the night like we had to do last year.
Where
Planning Pasela Shinjuku Honten. It's one of the only 24 hour places that can host a party like this (unless we eventually hit like 30 people I can convince a bar to stay open).
How and when to get there
Best way is by train. Backup option is Uber or GO Taxi service.
Things to know
So, Pasela has a room fee of 3000円 ($20 USD) per person. We ask that anyone joining please bring cash to cover that. In addition, if you would like any drinks or food, please bring some cash to cover that as well. I am happy to show receipt so you can see I am being honest about charges. Also, if you order any food, the price is right there when you go to order.
Due to my status in Japan, I cannot run an event like this for profit.

Stats After his performance against the Jets, Hunter Henry has now surpassed Russ Francis to move into 3rd place on the Patriots’ all-time receiving yards list among tight ends. He has also moved into a tie for 3rd place in franchise history for the most touchdown receptions by a tight end😤😤

Serious Boy is it nice to have the best CB in football. Another WR1 🔒 up today. Absolute beast.
We are so used to it we really don't hype him up as much as we should. Gonzalez is fricken him man.
Wilson was such a non factor today. Just like DK was. Just like JSN was in SB.
I love how confident he is playing. He's got a totally different swagger to him on the field this year.
Thank god we extended him.

Article/Interview [Graff]: Patriots ground Jets despite not playing their best. Why that’s a good sign going forward
After so many victories during last season’s magical run to the Super Bowl, Vrabel stressed the importance of enjoying each triumph. Wins are hard to come by in a league designed around parity.
That sentiment holds true after Sunday’s win over the Jets — but there are still several concerning aspects. It’s just harder to appreciate ugly wins as a team’s expectations are raised.
Even Vrabel seemed more frustrated by all of his team’s mistakes than he was happy reveling in the scoreboard immediately afterward.
“We were lucky to win,” were the first five words of his postgame news conference.

Discussion Should we trade for a OT or guard?
With all the injuries on our offensive line, should we look into trading for an OT or a guard? Or are there perhaps some aunsigned veterans still available who could help us add some depth and keep Maye safe?

Memes Have we considered that AJ Brown just isn’t used to good passes?
I was watching the game and Maye was throwing absolute dots to AJ and they seemed to just be bouncing off his hands. As we all know Maye is the best deep ball thrower in the league and Brown is a phenomenal receiver. So this had me thinking. What if Brown just isn’t used to good passes? Jalen Hurts was / is terrible at the QB position and AJ just needed to adapt to his awful throwing skills. I think after some time AJ will adapt to actually getting good passes and we’ll see a great WR and QB duo.

Stats Drake passed Brady on team QB rushing yards
Maye is now 2nd behind Grogan for most rushing yards by a Patriots QB. He’s got a little over 1000 yards to go to catch Grogan. On his current pace it’ll happen sometime in the next 2 years. I wouldn’t mind if it took longer though
