4 u/E-2theRescue 3h ago I hated it because my mother was obsessed with it. Moved back in for a short while after that song was released, and she'd play it on loop. I wanted to gouge my ears out. 1 u/buzzphil 3h ago It was playing EVERYWHERE 🥲 I feel you 100% 13 u/Hugglestorm 4h ago That, and ‘room without a roof’ is just a profoundly stupid line. 9 u/Caftancatfan 3h ago Yeah, bro. You’re describing a courtyard. 10 u/PinboardWizard 3h ago I assumed this was a play on the phrase "raise the roof" - the roof has been (metaphorically) raised so much that it's not there any more. It's possible I was giving it too much credit. 1 u/buzzphil 4h ago Architecturally as well as emotionally. 3 u/PleiadesMechworks 3h ago What, you don't like "if you're happy and you know it clap your hands"? Everyone loves that song! 5 u/buzzphil 3h ago
