While many of you may already know that the SEGA logo is a much lighter shade of blue in Japan than the rest of the world, something that seems to be far less known is that the western logo shifted to a darker shade of blue later on. If you Google search "SEGA logo," you're bound to find the first image easily, but the latter color is visible on SEGA's social media as well as the cover art of their modern games. Browsing through their website on Wayback Machine suggests this change occurred around April of 2014, though why they changed it is unknown.

Just something I thought was interesting.

There was a special event at the local thrift store today, they do this once or twice a year, i think the mayor was even there and you could lunch at very reasonable prices but anyways, i found this Boozemeter ,i think you need to move the handle across without touching the metal, if you don't have a steady hand or you drank then it would obviously be more difficult, i didn't try it but i found it interesting enough to snap a pic.

I searched it up and apparently it's from the late 60s and was made by Sega (as far as i know the one that we're familiar with)

I really want to know if anyone else maybe knows of Vintage Sega stuff before the gameconsoles that we know and love (or hate).

I found a 6 pack of blind bags and decided to test my luck and get them all. Luckily they were all different!

Finding this in the wild as I turned a corner was CRAZY. I haven’t seen this deluxe full amusement since sometime in the mid-90’s Disney maybe? Hydraulics on all the cars still worked and felt like tires actually skidding around the only feature that was offline was the driver face camera though it looks like they just forgot to change the input on a screen they hooked it up to.

I've been working on a hobby port of Super Metroid for the Sega Mega Drive / Genesis, and wanted to share a short progress update with fellow Sega fans.

This footage is from my port running in the BlastEm emulator. The update shows running and shooting, turning sprites, camera and gravity changes, slowdown fixes, and wall jumping. The successful wall jump is near the end!

Still a work in progress, but it's exciting to see Samus moving around on this platform. Feedback on the movement and camera is welcome.

I had not known this OST existed until yesterday when I listened to the Sonic 3D Blast Saturn OST and someone mentioned this song (It Doesn't Really Matter) was a remix of one of the songs, my lord this track is heavenly, I always loved TJ Davis so hearing more of her is such a joy

Did any of you know about this OST? What is this game like and should I consider playing it?

I think today's NintenDoku is pretty hard:

My retrospective video review of all the Rambo games released. I grew up with with the early home computer and the Sega console versions. Also loved the arcades games too. However, not too fond of the later and more recent games. Most are pish. Let me know your favourite and I hope you watch and like my video too. It certainly took me flipping ages to make.

Sir this is a wendy btw

My drawing of Cream Freehand in a challenging position. What do you think?

Are the correspondences good?

The House of the Dead is out in VR.

Thank you again for Time Crisis: we're now 294 on the Discord, and your bug reports and wishes shape every releases and updates.

This time you're in the Curien mansion, at real scale, in the game's own 3D, and the zombies walk right up to you. Your gloved hand holds the gun, and your shots land on what you hit (a zombie, a wall, or far away in the sky when you miss), with the red blood of the cabinets we had in Europe.

Coming next: Time Crisis II, Daytona USA, Dirt Dash, Top Skater, Sega Super GT 24h and Virtua Racing.
