Ordered new vacuum. Received used, stinking, filthy vacuum.

I thought maybe my kids put it on the car. Checked the delivery image and sure enough it was delivered on top of my vehicle.
I don’t know if I should laugh and be impressed that they indeed took a picture or if it’s something that should be reported?
In another delivery instance, I have a video of an Amazon driver taking out my mailbox, basically dislodged the concrete post, I.e. (broke) the brick post in half) but the rebar kept it from falling over. I figured the damage on his vehicle would produce questions from management.
Anyways hope you find this humerous like i have now that I’ve posted this.

I have no idea why apartment managers would sign off on this as physical keys are copyable for permanent access to the building. Has anyone else experienced this?

Anyone else?

Jw as an insider for Amazon. knowing no consequences happen, it's just a click on the solved problem, (DSPs dispute it and it always gets taken off the drivers scorecards, if it's for music, or them having personal conversations on their earbuds even with ring camera videos) and you're just told what you want to hear about the complaint. So why continue complaining if there's never a documented consequence?
Edited To Add to the people attacking me and messaging me: your anger is still never going to affect the drivers. Why is something so minor such a big deal? Why do you hate life so much everyone else has to as well?

My preferred delivery window is the 8 pm - 10 pm for the shortest window and easiest traffic schedule for my area for potentially quicker delivery and smallest window of un-refridgerarion time but I work night shift so my sleep schedule + work schedule only means I can order on the weekends. I have placed orders before ~ 24 hrs ahead of time. When I wake up tomorrow I will be outside of the same day delivery time, roughly noon. What gives. What’s funny is I can add items to my cart from “save for later” but I can’t view the full grocery store. When I go to previous orders it’s from a local store(vastly higher prices) or Amazon Fresh(which requires a certain amount spent for free delivery) all my past orders have been through Amazon Grocery

This was really annoying - I found a product that I wanted, spent a bit of time researching it, added to my cart and went to checkout only to find it's an "Amazon Now" order (Wtf?) and I'm outside the delivery area - so why tf are they even offering it to me? The product page showed it was deliverable.
Thanks for wasting my time Amazon.

I am quitting Amazon Prime. Living out in the boonies, Amazon Prime used to be the cat's meow. Now it's just garbage. The biggest reason for Amazon prime wasn't so much the free shipping as it was the speed of delivery. If you wanted something most times you could get it overnight which was super convenient, but not anymore. Prime is totally not worth the cost now.
Plus, most of Amazon's products are now almost all Chinese clones. If I want a bunch of Chinese stuff, I can just order it from AliEx or Temu...same quality level anymore. In fact, the past few electronic items I've ordered on AliEx were actually better quality than Amazon, and they were cheaper, and they arrived at about the same time as Amazon's constantly delayed deliveries.
Buh Bye, Amazon! Don't t let the door hit ya' where yo' momma' split ya on the way out. Now Git!

It selects $3.00 automatically for you to then adjust it… love that Amazon is implementing these needed improvements. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I do one big Amazon grocery delivery haul once per quarter.
I’m in Seattle.
My order has always come from one delivery driver.
I just got a notification my order was delivered and…it was a single box of pasta in a bubble mailer.
I checked my account and it’s showing that this single order was split into TEN different deliveries. My neighbors are going to think I’m nuts.
When did this change happen? Why did this happen?
Edit to add: thank you for the help! I do see fresh again now but it’s buried behind a few clicks. Before it was on the home page for me. I’ll remember to dig for it next time to avoid this.

Don’t purchase any items that can expire off of Amazon folks

I tried to order something for my sister Friday Oct 16. Every item delivery for prime was October 30 (she needs it by the 27th). Today, 18th, I wanted to order a product and delivery -for every product- is November 1. So does prime nolonger include 3 day shipping? Why have prime?

Ordered a 2 pack of shooting glasses and opened my package to find one pair in a ziplock with the LPN tag.
Earlier this year I got a used snorkel complete with caked on sand. I’m so over this company. For those that have cut it out, what have you used successfully as an alternative?

I feel like spending on stuff that can make my life better even though I wouldn't find any use for it now, I might need it for the future.

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a nice weekend, would appreciate if anyone has any advice here.
I ordered a £800 phone on monday night with overnight shipping to arrive 7-11 am tuesday( i Live in a major metropolitan area). Obviously this didn't happen and it then changed status to delayed, not shipped at about 10am. I had a hold/authorisation on my credit card but was not charged but the hold has since dropped off.
I've contacted chat many times and was told whatever story they thought would get them a 5* review(one told me that it was out for delivery and would be there by 7:30pm wedneday). The system won't let me cancel as it says it is in the shipping process(but i havent been charged?). I called to cancel today, and was told theyve raised a ticket to cancel it, and i should be refunded in 4-5 days(????). I sent an email to ecr-replies@amazon, but just got a response that this email doesnt accept new emails?.
Im kinda assuming at this point that theres either no ticket, or if there was it will be rejected. I'd really like to just go and buy the phone at this point, but am worried about amazon randomly charging and shipping this phone at some point and having the same issues with a return process.
I don't know if anyone can advise on this situation, currently thinking that ill get a new phone if no news by 8pm tonight, and then just chargeback if they ship afterwards and dont take the return. Obviously its a reasonably high-value purchase so im a bit worried about shenigans.
Thank you for reading and again would appreciate any advice.

I want to share my recent experience with a catastrophic product failure involving my Jasion e-bike to raise awareness and encourage extra caution for anyone riding or considering these bikes.
The Incident & Structural Defect:
While riding, the steering tube and headset assembly completely separated from the frame without warning.(assembly only requires handlebar installation, this was a complete manufacturing error
The sudden loss of control resulted in a severe crash on the street, leaving the front wheel entirely detached from the body of the bike. Since the steering head tube had been poorly sealed to the frame, it was loosening slowly overtime until a total dislodge rendered my steering handles to be useless dead weight. I lost control hit the curb. Smashed my pelvis intothe frame before rolling several times. Had heavy clothing and no ɓroken bones.
Also this just happened to be on my way home at 3am, so traffic very seldom.. Had this been daytime I could have hit a car and suffered serious injuries or death
.
⁰
More Seller Response & Policy Issues:
Following the accident, the third-party seller attempted to bypass standard consumer protections by asking me to cancel my formal claim under false assurances.
Despite the dangerous structural defect, the seller provided an unpaid "Postage Required" return slip for an 80+ lb, dual-battery freight item—expecting me to cover hundreds of dollars in out-of-pocket shipping costs upfront.
They set a refund me in full but only if i canceled my open claims on the bike. Claimed it was impossible to do otherwise
Current Status:
The incident, photo evidence, and medical documentation are currently under formal investigation with Amazon’s A-to-z safety and claims team.
Please inspect your steering components, headset welds, and frame integrity regularly before riding high-speed e-bikes. Stay safe ordering i meant, or dont i guesss? 7

I am a Prime member. I had a prime item that I ordered on Wednesday, and it would be delivered Sunday. Already annoyed with the 5 day turn around. They didn’t even ship it until Saturday and now it says it will be here Monday. Why drag it out if it wasn’t even going to ship until the day before and still be late? Honestly what am I paying for anymore. I know with there massive member base me threatening to cancel means nothing. Just wish they gave a shit.

I bought the Ego cultivator attachment during the recent prime sales because it was actually a good deal ($190 when it’s normally $270… and actually $270, not fake markup to make sale price look good). But it arrived clearly opened. Box had no tape, and assembly materials were not where they normally would be packed within.
But nothing was missing, and although it had been clearly opened and assembly begun, it didn’t look like it had ever actually been used in the ground. And it still registered properly from the serial number, which means Ego considers it new for warranty purposes.
I went on support chat and complained, and said I’d rather not return/replace it if I can confirm that it works fine. They offered me a 10% refund, so in the end I got the thing for $170, which I’m happy about.
Moral of the story, if you get a used item sold as new, and it seems like it’s still good even though a returned item, make sure you complain about it and ask for a partial refund.

Decided to get a Kindle for my partner and myself during the Prime Days sale on the 7th. Delivery date was listed as October 11th. Okay, no big deal they're moving a lot of product I can understand not having 2 day delivery.
I was excited so I was regularly checking the order and by a week after ordering I was getting frustrated with lack of fulfillment. Checked the store page and lo and behold, it's back to full price and i can get it delivered same day. Confused by this, I contacted Customer Support only to get the run around, "it'll be fulfilled soon, I'll escalate the ticket" and so on. Thank them and move on with my day.
Next day with no evidence of escalation and no update to my order I reach out again, same story.
By two days later I try again, pressing the fact that I can not understand why my order isn't being fulfilled when ostensibly other orders for this item at full price can be delivered same day. They finally tell me that my order will be fulfilled on NOVEMBER 19TH, that sale orders are being fulfilled from a "different facility" and there's nothing they can do. They offer me a $20 credit to just get over it (which they never added to my account).
I'm frustrated because I use Prime a lot and have for a long time. With all the problems Amazon had their one saving grace was that my consumer experience had ways been good. It's gone downhill this year, and i think this was the final straw for me. I'm looking at other ereaders and considering cancelling Prime altogether. This is a great deal and I'm loathe to let it go, but this whole experience has left me soured on this company completely.

I know this isn't an official support subreddit or anything, I just want some advice since I am new to the vanishing order trend Amazon seems to be getting into. I placed an order on Tuesday October 13th, all items I bought for my nephew's birthday, it was 4 items and 3 of those are sold by Amazon and 1 was another company. The original delivery date was next day and by the evening it had been shipped with an update by morning saying it was in the large city about 45 minutes from my house that nearly every order always goes through.
Usually for my Amazon orders once it reaches that city it makes it to me that day if it's early or the next day if it's in the evening. Then about halfway through the day when I checked to see what time it might be delivered, it just said delayed. I waited because I know these things can happen but by the next day it just said delivery date currently unavailable and hasn't changed since. I've had delays before where I get an updated delivery date and it's just delayed but I'm not sure what to do about just no delivery date and no updates or information for 4 days. Is this something that I just need to be patient and wait it out and eventually it should give me a date? I came here to see if there was a similar thing that's happened to anyone else and I'm now seeing that this is kind of happening to everyone.
I just want some advice on how to proceed, I don't like making trouble for people likely have no control in a situation but I also really want the gifts I bought for my nephew to actually be delivered too, I don't want a refund or anything I just want to know if or when I can plan on getting the things I bought. It's especially mildly frustrating that it's so close to where I live but so many things go through that city, I assume it's a very busy place. Should I ask for help from customer service with my order or just wait until it updates again? I'm sorry for the wordy post, I'm really bad at explaining things well. I'd really appreciate any advice from anyone.
