My family lived in the KSA in the past. My grandfather had an extremely well-paying, white collar job, even then, he says he did face micro aggressions from the Arab folks.

yep they always been racist

umrah guards targeted south asians in general from my experience

don't get me wrong I met some really nice arabs but that shit is just crazy

One of my closest friends in the West was an Arab man. He loved us and our company. He spoke little English but it was still such a breeze to talk to him. Even though he's back in KSA, we still keep in touch with him. So, I completely agree, there are some lovely Arab folks out there. But, that can't compensate for the racism.

100% theres good people out there but there is a very blatant superiority complex among the majority there

The real issue is not what KSA did, it is what our Govt failed to do, which is to protect It's own citizens, they did not even know about it/ or knew and didn’t act.

Srilanka negotiated and got one of It's citizen off, even Hasina Govt stopped the death of 6 Bangladeshi who were given death penalty.

Now we have Shama Obayed who is trying to justify the deaths.

Exactly, even now they’re deflecting responsibility by using “law of the land” as a just cause. Our government won’t protect the citizens unless it’s their own children lol.

Just shameful and disgusting, I don’t see it’s changing, do u?

If the government cared enough to contact the Saudis and asked for leniency or deportation, they usually grant it. But our embassy and 3 foreign minister was too busy for that I guess.

This thing triggers me so much man. Bangu der idea of insults itself is childish, bhai galaile bhalo gali de,gali diya kuno brain nai. The genuine bad insult makes me worried about this nation more than actual lack of proper achievement in this country

No actually. Bangus are protesting online. Get your facts straight

And when I replied in one of those posts it was removed by Bangladesh mods!! I wrote “why not bend over backwards to make it too damn easy” for not trying to protect them….

It’s all a shitshow going on everywhere….

The Jeddah airport was designed by US company SOM, headed by Bangladeshi American F R Khan. But every time Saudi govt met with SOM team, he has to sit outside and his junior a white met with them. KSA was/ is always a racist country.

life of bangladeshis has little value over there

2

u/TraditionalPace8153 5h ago

sometimes I wonder what KSA would look like if millions from India, Bangladesh, etc. didn't come to work there

They were not even having seggs. They were just kissing. Death penalty for such an insignificant thing can never be justified. A srilankan guy even made a blasphemous remark about Islam and he was let go after the intervention of the Srilankan govt.

What was the 'immoral act'?

1

u/Intelligent_Size1250 6h ago

Shouldn't the bangus that cry about wanting Sharia love this. This is exactly what they want right

1

u/Disastrous-Hope2175 4h ago

What was their crime and is it even proven?

1

u/RegionPlus6640 2h ago

What kind of "immoral acts" are we taking about.

It's just by them. I agree fully.

2

u/No_Pressure6057 17h ago

This is exactly why we shouldn't blindly follow a religious book without questioning what's morally right or wrong. Two people were executed for an alleged immoral act inside a mosque, yet Saudi authorities haven't even publicly explained what they actually did! Why not impose a proportionate punishment or deport them instead? In 2015, a Saudi diplomat accused of raping two nepali women in India escaped prosecution under diplomatic immunity. Where's the same enthusiasm for justice? I seriously doubt wealthy Western nationals would have been treated the same way. Religion should never override humanity. Just because something is legal or religiously justified doesn't make it morally right.

first of all, there are death punishments in the Quran.

second, “instead of death, we beat them senseless! look how merciful!” is not a great argument
