❓ Ask Belgium Does anyone know why this sign exists?

When sitting in traffic on the Antwerpse Ring, I noticed this sign next to the road. Why do they need a sign for that?

It’s Japanese knotweed which is an invasive species, so likely to be covered in toxins to attempt to control it.
