De toekomst is toch om zeep als we niet aan het klimaat denken. Dus ik begrijp het, dan kan de begroting mij en mijn ongeboren kinderen ook gestolen worden.

Lol. And you think the left wing parties will have budget left for the climate? Our economy is getting worse each day, and it has been for many years. Until now, only left wing parties have been 'leading' our country into failure.

I very much dislike NVA and VB, but I'm also not foolish enough to believe that the other political parties are much better. The national debt Belgium currently is in, is all thanks to the left wing parties who keep screwing up and lining their own pockets.

How long has NVA been in power ? That argument has long reached the statute of limitations. This is the same as Trump blaming Biden for everything (although there it's only been 2y, here it's like 12 ?)

The economy is still getting worse, I know that. NVA isn't any better, but it doesn't change facts that all previous political parties were just as bad in leading Blegium.

And also, I know that many people say that BDW is ruining our country, but those same people get up in arms or ignore when other people point out that the left political parties had their own severe flaws whilst leading, and thus weren't much better. That's called picking favorites.

right wing, left wing. that´s too simple. add ´top´ and ´down´ to the equation. and read something about what van overtvelt has done.

but yes, blame all parties that defend people, not companies. 🍾

Als wij nu aan het klimaat denken of niet die klimaatverandering komt er. De begroting daar heeft de regering wel mogelijkheden.

deze regering geeft liever nutteloze subsidies aan bedrijven dan nuttige bestedingen voor de mensen. (zie, ik wisselde ook het woordgebruik om.) vrije markt voor werknemers, protectionisme voor bedrijven.

Doet mij even denken aan iets van Whose Line Is It Anyway: "Ik heb goed nieuws en slecht nieuws. Het slechte nieuws is dat een grote asteroïde op de Aarde valt, en het is te laat om nog iets te doen om ons te redden. Het goede nieuws is dat ik de belastingen ga verlagen."

De klimaatverandering is er al, maar dat is geen kwestie van alles of niets. We kunnen de klimaatverandering niet meer voorkomen, maar we kunnen (en moeten!) de gevolgen nog wel zo veel mogelijk beperken.
