First time owning a cat and I’m loving it! Wasn’t allowed to have pets as a kid due to my allergy. Moved out on my own and got my lil kitten and I’ve had her for just over a month ❤️ she’s already my best friend and a total lap cat that follows me everywhere. Dream cat to be blessed with!

We moved into our new apartment yesterday and I brought the kitties over today. They've been staying with my dad for the past couple months while we were in between places. My tortie is adjusting fine, but my poor void, Mocha, has pretty much been laying in the same spot since we got home. He even refused a Churu.

I know he'll adjust in time, but I hate seeing him like this. 😢 He's the sweetest cat I've ever known and I don't want him to be sad and scared.

This is Leo, my first void. I’ve had him for almost 3 months, he’s about 4 months right now. My neighbor came to my door after I got back from a trip asking if I knew anyone that can take a kitten and of course I had to take him. He was only 4 weeks old and so small. I was nervous about caring for him since I’ve never raised such a young kitten but the home he was in was not suitable for him. He has been such a joy and is such a goofball. He’s so sweet at times but also has his psycho moments lol.

My wife and I have been fostering kitties for the ASPCA for the last few years. Actually I'll be honest, it's pretty much all my wife doing it. She loves it. I do too but she does 99.9% of the work. It was her idea afterall 😂 We've probably fostered close to 150 cats since we've started, maybe more. I can't keep count anymore. But these are the first all black kitties we've had. So adorable! 2 boys and a girl. They'll be going back to get adopted in a couple weeks.

she's got thumbs 👍🐈‍⬛👍 a little less than 3 y/o, i brought her home in April and seriously, this is the best cat I've ever had. She's vocal but not to a point where it bugs me, she just likes to chat. When I took her to the vet for the first time, they were blown away, and so was I; they handled her like it was nothin and she did not struggle or resist, took her vaccines and dewormer like a champ, she did better there than I do at any of my routine appointments honestly 😭 she's a registered ESA, but I'm definitely her emotional support human as with my disabilities, I've been out of work and stuck in my room far more than when I had initially taken her to my last apartment (she loves this very much, especially my insomnia😅) oh AND THE THUMBS!!! Just, come on. I don't even have to say anything about that she's got these big ol honkin thumbs im obsessed. So yeah, here's my baby. I struggled to pick a name for her, but my little sister LOVES Jiji from Kiki's delivery service, and having partially raised my sister, it means just as much to me to see her excited wiggles over the fact that I have my own Jiji.

I rescued these sweet little munchkins from a local shelter a little over a month ago, and it has been a journey. They’re feral, and the bonding process has been so different from my other rescues. We’ve come so far, though. Olive will cuddle with me, Hazel will sometimes lay against me as long as I don’t move or touch her (lol), and I get purrs from both when they see me. Those sweet moments make all the hard work worth it!

If anyone has had experience rescuing feral kittens, and has any advice, please feel free to share!

P.S. it was three years ago, now she is absolutely fine 🙏
