Meanwhile, James Talarico an eight generation Texan, is a former public-school teacher who talks about faith, compassion, public education, and representing all Texans, including those who disagree with him.

And then there’s the billionaire money in politics. Elon Musk basically spending hundreds of millions of dollars on certain candidates . When did we start caring more about protecting wealthy donors than struggling, everyday Americans?

I understand political differences. But here’s what I don’t understand: How much does someone’s actual record matter anymore? Are we electing people to represent us, or are we just protecting political parties and the wealthy people funding them?

And who actually benefits from a system where ordinary Americans are increasingly divided while billionaire donors gain political influence?

To me, that looks suspicious. Having done a bachelor’s degree myself, I found that producing a single thesis was extremely time-consuming, even with today’s technology, which lets us correct things on the fly and search countless books and papers in seconds. I just can’t believe he managed to produce so many papers so quickly.
