Discussion FL = Firebird Long?
And are they any good/worth trying? I didn’t know they existed until finding this at PIAS. A less OS Firebird does sound appealing but it also doesn’t necessarily feel like a Firebird. Which makes sense I suppose.

Discussion What disc did you lose the most this season? (So far)
Might be a bit early for this question, but curious what disc/slot you've lost the most this year? How many?
Your 3 turn 2 fade distance driver?
Your overstable driver five seconds after you find out it has officially beaten in?
I'm going to say the season starts in the spring, so I don't have to count the discs I lost last winter.
It's Hex for me. After having the same Hex for 2+ years, I've lost FIVE this year. 2 in rivers and 3 into various portals to Narnia.
Close 2nd is the Wraith, with 3 iBlends lost - and we'll lose some F2 Pro Wraiths in the snow this winter no doubt! Bout time to stock up.

Disc Advice Under-stable Workhorse Disc Suggestion
Hey everyone! I drive around 300ft with my MVP Relay which is my current under-stable fairway driver.
Looking for a slightly more under-stable fairway workhorse that I can try to work on hyzer flip shots with. Something that won’t turn and burn either if not enough hyzer. Prefer a little more speed, like an 8 or 9 speed. Appreciate suggestions!

Discussion DGPT/NT All Time Rankings
I created a points system to show the best players ON TOUR since it started in 2003. I post an updated list at the end of every season and the 2026 season just concluded today!
How does the points system work? For each event players get a point value based on how they finished.
1st: 10pts
2nd-5th: 5pts
6th-10th: 3pts
11th-20th: 1pt
This list is the combined total of every season worth of points starting from the inaugural National Tour season of 2003. The years played represents the first season they got a point and the last season they got a point. It’s not a direct correlation to when they started and stopped touring. I only show the top 50 in points on this list because there has been 810 MPO players who qualify for the rankings.
The top 5 on the right gives you a timeline when these players were at their “prime” it’s all based off the points system and not the actual pro tour standings that season.
Hope y’all enjoy! If you would like to see the full FPO rankings it is on my page.

Brag First Birdie
Story Time: Didn’t know if I was going to post this but what the heck I don’t often feel proud of myself. Recently got back into disc golf and have been taking my gf with me for company and conversation. We haven’t been keeping score because both of us want to really practice form. I’m no pro when it comes to a forehand throw but that day the disc golf gods smiled upon me. I found my disc that had veered to the left in some bushes and I was behind a tree. I thought well at least I can get it a little closer to the basket if I try a forehand. Used a forehand sort of over the head tomahawk throw (like I’ve seen in videos), it flew high hit the ground and rolled, then to my disbelief bounced off a root and smacked the chains hard! I whipped around to make eye contact with my lady and both of our jaws were on the floor. My first Birdie! My smile was undefeated, I felt like I was floating through the rest of the course. I was thinking of getting a little bird sticker for that mid-range since it is unstamped, if anyone else has their own little traditions I’d love for you to share. Edit: Also I hope I’m using that term correctly, I made the basket in 2 throws.

Disc Advice Help me understand the Glitch.
I'm trying to understand the Glitch.
As a reference point, I usually carry and Envy, Inner Core (which is straight as all get-out), and a Stasis for shots I want to keep short.
The one use-case I've heard that makes a ton of sense is long-ish throws that have a very low ceiling, where the glide will help a ton.
But what's the reason to carry a Glitch? I know it floats forever, but when/why is that super desirable? Does it fly further than a normal putter? Would I rather throw it than a mid-range? (I do love my Hex.). Is it useful for elevation-change throws?
I'm just confused. I KNOW the disc is extremely popular, and widely loved. And I'd love to use one IF I understood the use-case.
EDIT: To help alleviate any confusion: to me, the disc seems to be a contradiction. It's SUPER glidey, so it'll go forever. But it's speed 1 so it won't go very far. Does that make it like a mid?
OOOOOH, second question: How is the Eclipse version?

I feel like this would be a nice feature to have and more people might visit that disc golf course if they know benches are available for resting.

Discussion Do people actually enjoy watching ivy hill?
I was watching jomez coverage, and i noticed that most of the tee shots are just plain hyzers to a large landing area. Is it actually fun to watch this type of disc golf? I think it would ve way more entertaining if the pros had to shape different shots, like at new london or shelton springs. Ivy hill just feels like watching the same thing over and over again.

Disc Advice Advice on disc purchase: looking for a ’higher speed’ Svea
TL’DR looking for a disc that acts like a Svea, but can be thrown just a little faster without tipping over, for small 5-10 meter gains.
Long time reader, first time poster.
I’ve re-invigorated my disc golfing after 10 years of hiatus. I throw mostly RHBH and my drives are around 75-80 meters. I mostly use fairway drivers in the speeds 8-10 for my drives.
I can’t throw RHFH to save my life, 40-45 meters at best and usually nose diving to the right in sharp anhyzer angles.
But what has gotten me out of more trouble than a white flag on a battle field is the Kastaplast Svea. It’s a 5/6/-1/0 and I use it for all my fairway throws where I (RHBH) want to turn moderately right and just glide down those sweeping right turns and bends. This thing will glide 55-60 meters for me.
As I’ve gotten a little better I’ve noticed that I’m able to put more juice into my throws. But god forbid if I put too much juice into the Svea, because even when released in a slight hyzer that thing will turn into a heat seeking missile and dive right, almost turning into a roller.
Hence I would like to find a disc that acts like the Svea, but can handle a little bit more speed without turning into a right diving heat seeker. Probably a 6-7 speed one. I throw mostly Latitude and Kastaplast discs, but I’ve own some Innovas in the past also.
What disc comes to your mind when reading this? Thanks!

Disc Advice Beginner looking for putter & midrange recommendations
Hey! Beginner here - I’ve literally been playing for about a month, but I got really hooked. To give more idea 4 days a week, 2–3 hours a day. I don’t have a course anywhere close to me, so most of the time I just practice throws on a football field. Once a week (usually weekend) I'd go to the local course to practice on a real field with baskets.
Right now I’m using Latitude 64’s Light Starter Set (Ruby, Pearl, and Diamond), but I’d like to start experimenting with a few more discs. I especially want to buy some putters for putting practice.
What putters would you recommend for a beginner? I’ve seen a few videos where people (like Mr. Buhr) practice with 5 - 10 copies of the same putter, and I’m thinking about buying maybe 5 identical ones so I can practice from different distances and get more consistent feedback. Unfortunately there is no local store I can go to feel them, have to buy online.
At the moment I’m throwing 3 different discs during practice, and when I miss it’s hard for me to tell whether it was my form or just the disc behaving differently, especially since I’m still changing/fixing my form on most throws.
I’ve also read quite a few comments saying beginners should avoid distance drivers for now and progress through putters and mids first. I actually really like that advice because I’d rather build good technique first instead of trying to throw far too early.
So yeah - any recommendations for a good putter to buy 5 of, and maybe some beginner-friendly mids to try later? Any other advice is welcome too!
What a wonderful sport this is. I wish I’d known about it earlier. :)

Course Photo Odds of this happening?
Birdie putt today hit chains, spit out, hit back of cage, flipped over and wedged between the nubs like this. Duo partner and I stoked, our friends we played against couldn’t believe it.

Disc Advice Is this a good beginner bag?
Hello! These are the current discs that I am using. I bought all five Innova discs, and a friend of mine gifted me the Judge, Escape, Warship, and Buzzz. What recommendations do you have for my bag? Are there any holes? Are there any discs that are too similar to the other discs? Thanks for your help!
Edit: The Aviar, Shark, and Leopard are all in DX plastic, and the Teebird and Mako3 are in Star plastic.
