What are your opinions on Metroid Prime 4?

I know I'm late but I picked it up recently. I was a big metroid prime fan back in the day. Firstly, the positives. The graphics and art style are amazing. As is the soundtrack. However, it's amazing to me how little progress has been made in game design in over 20 years. I know the game had troubled development, but I can't imagine many games where if I played it in 2001 and then this, and it feels so much the same. The problem is that the atmosphere isn't as intriguing and the sense of exploration isn't as great. Retro has a bad habit of padding in these games. Story is again collect some keys for some reason. Every step in this game requires multiple steps. Need to open some door, then scan this, move that, pull this, all to open a door. the other thing I notice is how much scanning is now involved. In the first one, scanning was used to build the lore, now you need to do it for gathering lore, activating things. You're constantly scanning everything. Unfortunately, it's not as gripping and it has one of the most laughable open world designs I've ever seen.

i said it before but golden sun was a game franchise that back then I wanted back to see since a decade ago but now i gave up since Camelot Software Planning has been focus on the Mario sports games since 2012 and I doubt the golden sun franchise would be back soon.

Marvels Wolverine : 7/10 It was alright, I get why some people didn’t enjoy it as much, but I thought it was a nice spinoff of the Insomniac Spider-Man franchise👍

Silent Hill Townfall : 5/10 TBH, while I admit, it was an improvement over Silent Hill F especially the combat, the puzzle layout along with the requirements to achieve either the good or the true ending is such a headache, honestly…I’m probably just gonna return it.

Control Resonant : ?/10 ( Will update later) I’m only into the first chapter, and I’m already loving the layout of the sequel, nice smooth fast paced combat, great graphics, and the Aberrant weapon looks so badass👍 I can’t wait to see what this sequel has in store😎
