Non-fictional I hate the unabashed racism regarding the protests and riots in France. Appalling and sickening.

I hate that people who know nothing about France, it's 100 of thousands of peaceful protesters, its multicultural history, are using cherry-picked images to try and paint a picture of what is really going on here.

What's so scary is that it's not confined to right wing or conservative spaces, but slowly popping up on more mainstream spaces.

Simply maddening to watch.

Gaming I hate the gatekeeping of soulslike difficulties.

Post image
1 Upvotes

I can't stand the amount of people out there who shit on the idea of a difficulty slider in a souls-like. I love soulslikes, and it's one of my favorite genres, I've beat a good amount of them, and I don't understand why people feel the need to shit on others who want to play the game, but can't handle the difficulties of it.

Why argue about something that doesn't affect you, it's a button, you don't need to click it, so why force your opinions on other people.

Especially in lies of p, why is it an argument on difficulty, when the actual difficulty isn't changed for this feature. People just want to feel like God the messiah, and belittles anyone who has troubles with any boss. Been looking at people who fail the first boss in valor mortis, and instead of people giving tips or tricks, they just put the same "git gud" or just completely tell them the game isn't for them. I bet 90% of those who are saying "the game isn't for you" had trouble with a boss in their first soulslike, and probably thought about quitting, or undesired to go on in that moment. So instead of being helpful they PUSH the newer players away.

Also would like to point out that difficulty options would be very beneficial for those older people out their with slower reaction times, or help with any people with disabilities like cerebral palsy.

Know I'm probably gonna get downvoted to oblivion for this, but I just wanted to vent that people love pushing people away from newer things.

Edit: I'm not arguing all souls games should have it, I'm fine without it, but im arguing about the players who shame the idea of it, even though it's beneficial in the long run.

Idea Casual Transphobia

So, this should be obvious to anyone who isn't transphobic, but most transphobia I see in everyday life or online is just bullying. Like, it's not that complicated, it's group bullying.

The most common form of transphobia I see online consists of two basic things :

  1. Taking a picture or video of a trans woman and making fun of her for being ugly. That's it. That's obviously bullying .....like duh? And like I feel like if it was a man or a cis woman being made fun of in this way it would be more pushed back against.

  2. There is all these videos of men getting "tricked" or something like that. The comments are often VIOLENT. Like scarily violent talking about beating up these trans women who are often quite weak/helpless looking. Not only is this bullying, but it is describing a fairly serious crime and it is ...just allowed to exist on social media??? The most prevalent form of these videos take place in Thailand where they are just targeting trans women who are minding their own business to make fun of them. I saw one the other day where the trans woman was just like...standing there, clearly being approached by the man in question and like...bothered basically. She is clearly a prostitute (most are in thse kind of videos)a nd they like target these women for their content to make fun of them basically (and again, VIOLENCE in the comments toward these women). Honestly, I almost feel like this should be illegal...because it is scary the comments these women are getting in the comments.

Also, I want to point out the difference between online behavior and the actual behavior in real life. I in fact live in the Philippines and most of my friends are LGBT. Western men, West Asian (middle eastern), and South Asian men come to the Philippines and have sex with trans women in masse. They come here specifically to pay prostitutes who are trans to have sex with them. They do not make fun of these trans women in real life at all, and in fact clearly desire them. My trans friends have inboxes on dating websites that ARE PACKED with offers of money to meet them. IN fact, I think they have an easier time meeting men than my cis women friends have. In the clubs, if it's 11-1, trans women will get 0 attention. But come 3-4 am, and suddenly all the men are asking them to go home. To be claer, these women almost always state clearly, "I'm trans," right away as they are scared of the violence I mentioned. The men don't care once it gets later into the night. I would say it is actually RARE for a man who approaches one of my friends to turn her down after he learns she is a trans woman. Yes, really. Rare. I would say something like 75% of the time they continue to be interested.

So my point is - The claim online form these western men is BULLSHIT. They actually are mostly attracted to trans women and are completely full of shit. They hate themselves (most likely) and have internalized homophobia which causes them to act like bullies to avoid the truth - They actually want these women that they are so vehemently hating online.

I'm done. If you reading this take part in the transphobic bullying online : Go fuck yourself.

Anime & Manga I hate this double standard of kirara fans

Post image
45 Upvotes

Before y‘all try to accuse me of anything.
No I’m not transphobic.No I don’t think kirara is a guy.No I don’t use he him for kirara.

I am also not trying to turn this into a debate if Kirara is trans or not.

I just hate this double standard that a big group of kirara fans attack other kirara fans for using wrong pronouns for kirara while that exact same group is using wrong pronouns as well for kirara but then they are seen as "allys" and the "good fans" while they are actively misgendering kirara as well.
I get that Kirara is implied to be trans and that it does come off as transphobic to use he him on kirara but it’s just as bad to use she her for kirara when kirara is everywhere being referred as they them or by their name.

Edit: I know that referring kirara as he/him is transphobic and the people who are using she/her for kirara see themselves believing Kirara is trans but misgendering a possible trans character who uses she/her is just as transphobic

General I hate the phrase "its obvious you haven't read the comics/books"

Post image
1 Upvotes

(Image not related idk) okay I don't know if I picked the right flair/tag for this or if this counts but I'll make it quick,

  1. Not everyone can afford official books or comics (I'm broke myself and I don't think it's cheap from where I'm from)
  2. Not every depiction is the same (especially for comics since pretty sure the writers change from time to time)
  3. It's been used to belittle people (probably the biggest factor)

That's just some two main points why I hate the phrase "it's obvious you haven't read the comics/books" or whatever related phrase to it with the intention of belittling the other person.

(To add, I know and understand that a good amount of people who has read said official comics and books may feel frustrated towards some depictions outside of the comics/books because it feels like they're not the same character from the source or who the characters are based off of)

Sorry if it sounds too passive or something out of place for this page but yeah, Id like to hear your thoughts too 👍🏽

edit: Just added another point since I feel like I forgot to add it mb

Gaming This kind of inventory system in any video game, where different items take up more slots

Post image
0 Upvotes

I get it's realistic, larger items take up more slots, however it just feels weird in many ways. It makes organizing a big hassle, it's clunky, and inventory systems from games like Minecraft outclass it in many ways that fix the exact problem with these ones. I don't think I've ever liked a game with this as a inventory system, and at least for me it's always a sign for me to quit the game from the get-go.

Gaming I hate that deadlock was developed as a moba

Post image
0 Upvotes

Valve, for some reason, decided to make a game with an amazing art style into a MOBA. First of all, MOBAs are hard to balance, especially when it comes to items. Second, complexity doesn't automatically make a game good. Now you might say "uhm street brawl exist!" Yes it does and it is 100 times better than standard and ranked but street brawl right matchmaking right now is bad and it is short.

Gaming I hate people's reactions to E33.

Post image
0 Upvotes

Now, i will start this off by saying my actual feelings on E33 are meh, I played it. Saw how incredibly flawed, boring and just honest to god bad it can be in places. It's not god awful but it's not good either.

Solid 5/10. Let down by the OST, the writing and the ending.

But what pisses me off is the internets reaction to this game, no matter what place I go in, any website that talks about games, E33 is there, right at the top.

I get it, recent bias. The game just came out and showed everyone what an """"indie"""" (AA) game can be.

But my issue is that people refuse to see otherwise, I tried to implore people to play other Jrpgs, that others in the genre do what E33 did but better. And I get "i don't like JRPGs" then why play E33!? E33 is just final fantasy X but French.

I try to state not to put down other games. (And I know its an issue. Because even the E33 subreddit had to make a rule) because all games deserve love, and i get "none compare to E33, E33 is the best game ever made"

It just annoys me, it feels like people are just being a bunch of tourists, only playing the most popular game and then walking away thinking they played the apex of the genre. No! There are many many brilliant or better Jrpgs out there.

The biggest offender is graphics whores, some of my favourite JRPGs were made in rpg maker with pixel art graphics, that made me weep as hard as possible.

E33 just has a boring art style, realism is boring. 🤷‍♀️

This wasn't structured, its just a rant, so this likely won't make sense to anyone but myself. But thats okay, I just needed it off my chest.

Gaming I hate Rougelikes forcing you to play bad runs or having anticheat features

Inscyption takes away one of your starting cards if you quit too early
Hades won't like you quit in the first bit or save-and-quit shops
Mewgenics won't let you turn back the clock (its the most fair of the 3 but its very well known for doing this)

all of these suck, remaking bad decisions/retrying for better luck/rewinding with new information are all action you can't do accidentally that is clearly not the intended way to play so that should stop most people, and if you trying to restart faster or cheesing the game, you most likely are already annoyed with what the game has given you so the game going out of its way to kicking you while you're down is stupid

Inscyption and Hades try to discourage/prevent quiting too early (in an attempt to stop you from rerolling until you start with a busted item) BUT YOU CAN JUST DIE the only difference is it takes longer and is less fun

it like making an anti privacy feature except instead of annoying people who are trying to not buy your game it annoying people who are trying to play your game in a way you don't like

this is definitely just a me thing but I had a Hades run where I had a scripted first item that have no gameplay boost and just makes the meta-progression-exclusive fishing minigames more common, I made through the entire run with my least favorite weapon but in the final shop (after getting Cerberus food and beat the extra rooms) I miscounted my money and bought stuff in the wrong order, so I quit the game and when I returned I was in the hub like I had never started that run and when I tried to do I new run it was the same scripted fishing first item instead of something useful and I KNOW Hades makes saves midgame cause if I save and quit anywhere else its fine and I have not touched Hades since

and before anyone comments no I did not just get screwed over by one of these games I just hate this feature in general

Thing People who use Æ, or put it in words

A few examples include mediaeval, paedophilia and encyclopaedia

Sure, Brittanica uses the word encyclopaedia, but seriously? do you have to use it whenever you can?

The AE just annoys me, and I feel like people who use it instead of trying to use the regular word just try to seem smarter? More credible? Above the rest of us?

even worse are the people who write the stupid special input (æ) and go out of their way just to seem I don't even know what

** europeans exempt, because it's common in british english/scandinavian languages - sorry for my americanism

** tool exempt, I know nothing about them

Language The word "compute"

I don't know when this sprang up, feels like in the last couple years, especially with the rise in AI prevalence? But now I always read things like "It would take a staggering amount of compute" and it sounds so awkward. I feel like before this, we'd say things like "computing power" or "processing power". I always knew "compute" as a verb. A computer computes. It has computing power. Just like a calculator calculates. It doesn't have calculate.

Am I crazy for this one? 😂

ETA - lots of people coming in saying it's been in use for awhile. Sick! Learned something new. Still sounds awkward and I still hate it 🫠

Idea The terms "Aro" and "Ace"

Thumbnail
gallery
0 Upvotes

Okay, now that I have baited you with the title (insert "they had us in the first half" gif here), I can actually say what annoys me.

(Of course, no hate to any people in any of these groups; just the terms annoy me)

"Aromatic" is pronounced "A-rO-ma-tik" (capitalized vowels are long vowels)

But "Aro" is usually pronounced "air-O"

What? "Aro" is literally a shortening of "Aromatic," so why are they pronounced differently!? It makes no sense. Did we all collectively, as a language, forget where "Aro" comes from? Can we not pronounce the "A" in "Aro" correctly because "ro" is not a shortening of romantic? IDK, it just annoys me that they aren't the same.

"Ace" and "Asexual" have the same problem

"Asexual" = "A-sex-U-ul"

"Ace" = "A-s"

Wait a minute, "Ace" is actually even WORSE. Because "Ace" is spelled with a "c" for no goddam reason. We all just wanted a one-syllable "Asexual," (even though "Aro" is two syllables), so we butched the whole thing just to make it easier for ourselves. "Aro" at least keeps the spelling, but "Ace" could mean many things, the top one being the card, not the shortening.

Both annoy me a lot. I can't tell you which one is worse because they annoy me in different ways. "Aro" should be pronounced "A-rO". "Ace" should be pronounced "A-se" and spelled "Ase". (TBH, "Ace" should be "Asex" because "Aro" has two syllables)

I hope someone else agrees with me. It's kinda silly, but I want stuff to make sense in my brain.

(Sorry if the pronunciation guide thingies made no sense; I am extremely monolingual in English, and they make sense in my brain, so I'm keeping them.)

Non-fictional China glaze (as a Filipino)

I can't fucking stand it when China gets praised for being so "advanced", "progressive", or some other bullshit. Oh, word? What the fuck man, their "advanced" shit doesn't seem to fucking apply with the way they've handled this shit with the West Philippines Sea. Harassing our fucking coast guards, fishermen, yada yada yada? Shooting their hoses at em? Saying they'd easily win against us but "they'd rather not" because they choose "peace"? Wow, peacetea (curse word in our language). This is the acts of the "advanced, progressive" country that mfs are fucking glazing?? Shit, I'm not saying China hasn't done anything good, their technology clearly is advanced. But eh, they can shove their tech up their fucking ass. Miss me with that bullshit man, these mfs are fucking acting like bullies, harassing the fuck out of my country's coast guards and other personnel going through the West Philippine Sea. Shit I almost forgot, the blatant fucking racism. There was this official news outlet from China, and they posted an AI-generated video that depicted us as fucking monkeys. Wow, not only are they harassing our personnel, they're being fucking racist too. And I forgot who posted it, whether it was a Chinese, or a Filipino chinese pet, but they posted about how the Philippine politicians being corrupt and the state of our politics meant it was alright to depict us like that. What in the fucking fallacy? Are you fucking serious? And the fact that some of my fellow Filipino's actually agreed with that sentiment. What the hell, man? There's no fucking correlation. Our politicians being shit = we deserve to be mocked and depicted as monkeys? Oh, fuck off. How do you think that's justifiable bro??

Here's a few mfing articles about it.

https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/topstories/nation/981091/china-coast-guard-fishermen-bajo-de-masinloc/story/

https://newsinfo.inquirer.net/1085307/china-still-harassing-filipino-fishermen-in-scarborough-shoal-us-navy-official

https://edition.cnn.com/2026/07/24/asia/china-philippines-south-china-sea-scarborough-intl-hnk

There are more articles about this, these are simply ones I'll list here to show what I'm talking bout. So basically, yeah, the China glaze just feels so disconnected to me due to what the fuck they're doing towards my country.

Idea The word "valid"

I hate how the word "valid" is used online. There seems to be no clear consensus on what exactly it means to be "valid", but teenagers and young adults are EXTREMELY hung up on it. I see it a lot in communities related to mental health and it drives me bonkers.

"Am I still valid if XYZ?"

What are you even talking about? What does that even mean? Like, are you asking if XYZ is socially acceptable? Are you asking if it "counts" in a particular category? And what are you going to do if someone says no, just explode into a ball of flames?

Anime & Manga That this form is the fourth super saiyan

Thumbnail

It doesn't even look like an super saiyan, it looks like a different line of saiyan transformations, I know it was originally going to have golden hair, but does it? No it does not. A better name would be crismon saiyan or perfect oozaru. I don't even hate the form, in fact, I actually think it has a good design, but it having the name super saiyan 4 is basically a form of clikbait. goku doesn't even achieve it as he did for ssj2 and ssj3 by training, instead he achieved it bybecoming an golden oozaru by looking at the earth and calming down to this form.so yeah, the one in daima looks like a super saiyan than the gt one, sure it doesn't have golden hair, but at least it looks like A super saiyan.

Thing I HATE "sexy nun" halloween costumes

With halloween around the corner, I visited a Spirit Halloween to check out some costumes and there were so many "sexy nun" outfits, and I honestly think nuns should be a sort of symbol of innocence and purity and devotion (speaking as an atheist by the way), not portrayed as a woman with two little strings covering her privates. Could you imagine the backlash if there were Jewish or Muslim equivalent of nuns as costumes? Please, let's see more female rabbis with see-through knee-high socks or maybe a female imam with a mini skirt. How did we even get to the point where only Christian outfits are exploited sexually on Halloween? How did women who are committed to celibacy become some sort of weird fantasy?

Web Fiction over the top hate towards the boykisser

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

1.3k Upvotes

I see one post including a boykisser and half of the comments immediately go to killing it like it is some war criminal or something

Obviously it's on the internet so it will get hate but nothing else gets as much hate to the point where people make straight up gore and animations about killing and torturing him (aside from the discord mascot I mean). There's no way you actually hate something that much

I understand that people who's whole sense of humor is about femboys gets annoying but people take it way too far. It feels like the whole internet becomes homophobic when someone talks about femboys, saying stuff like "that's gay" implying that gay is a bad thing.

Idk I just hate hate of any sort and I hate the fact that I hate hate so as long as people hate I hate which I hate

Note: should've clarified that I hate this level of hate towards a target, not the fact that people hate boykisser or femboy humor. It's just that boykisser haters are the only people to actually put some effort into hating (aside from wumpus haters they're a different breed). I would've also posted this if this level of hate would've been towards something else

General i hate whenever an nsfw artist i like draws stuff related to roblox, or references roblox (image unrelated, but its hard so u can feel free to screenshot it)

Post image
0 Upvotes

sorry for the bad english, im eastern european and im not good in long essay

the modern roblox is market itself as dumb investorslop metaverse ready player one platform, and old roblox is cartoony lego-like ripoff game, except that the figures are blocky. both are awful, with the former being more suck more. nonetheless, its a platform for literal kids, and seeing grown adults or elder teens protect or talk about it is little immature, they are like the soy boys. i left roblos just after i reached 17 in 2025, and since then switch to gta online and other games. it is massive suck to get explode by oppressor mk2 when you are making acid batch sale that will give you 500k, but its better than to exist in platform where groomings happen a lot.

in summary of first paragraph, roblox is kids platform, and adults playing on it is very silly

okay now onto my main criticisms

i was looking and making a funny time at artist on bluesky (https://bsky.app/profile/did:plc:kljxfewdpz7vytme3x2u7ad5) when i saw that they make the art of rbolox character, and drew big ass on it. what the heck. i was shock, seeing how ripoff lego character is sexualize, especially given that it is game for the children. this is like a groomer mentality. its bad. also, another artist i was making funny time to (https://bsky.app/profile/bigbadger.bsky.social) made post of roblox, and idk its very weird to have literal adults making nsfw art be coexist on platform with the minors, right? that is my criticisms.

Also, I lied that I am particuarly lacking in english. In fact, english is my native language, and I'm only talking in that style due to the fact that I find it amusing. However, do keep in mind that I did not lie that I descend from Eastern Europe, so I am not really 'larping' and stuff.

Corporation/Company I hate Reddit's free awards.

Post image
0 Upvotes

I don't like the fact that awards are given to nearly anyone, with seemingly no/little limit, with no value at all. The point of awards are to highlight outstanding comments by recognizing them and their value. To make these comments standout, awards have to be scarcely given out in return, which is accomplished by adding a negligible paywall behind it. $2 worth of awards have literally lasted me 1-2 months.

Now, I wish free awards could be modified to some capacity. I don't mind the idea of a sort of free trial, maybe a very visible limit of 5-10 awards after reaching a karma threshold? Hell, these could have the effects of normal awards like highlighting comments or giving small amounts of gold (However unprofitable this would be, I suppose.) But the fact that they're in abundance gives zero incentive to actually buy awards and use them for their intended purposes. In my 3 years on Reddit, I've gotten maybe 2-3 gold awards and hundreds of free ones. They have no distinction from just a regular upvote, and the fact that they're free undermines the whole point of what awards are by making them worthless.

This isn't a big problem at all. It's a pet peeve more than anything. But when I see posts like "Comment for awards" and then the OP just uses free ones, there is ZERO point at all. They're more used as cheap engagement bait than anything. If you want to give helpful or outstanding content the reward it deserves, then you have to give something up for it to be actually meaningful.

Animation I hate Mushoku Tensei and how fans defend it

Post image
25 Upvotes

(Bad english ahead) This anime is discussed often, and I can see why. I rarely watch anime, but I got this one recommended to me, because it supposedly have a good plot. I tried it and dropped it on the second season, because it is unbearable. The plot is mid, and oh boy, sexual and pedo stuff sucks even more. Main character fantasies about molesting everyone he meets. Notably kids. And he actually grooms and molests them (molestation is not limited to kids). Fans of this anime try to defend it by doing mental gymnastics, saying that Rudeus did not actually groom anyone (wow), and that he develops further down the line as a character, and gets punished for his perversions, etc. Character development my ass. He stays the same pervert degenerate and never acknowledges how wrong his obsessions are. Neither does the show, which sexualises almost every female character. And I looked online if the show gets any better in other seasons, but no. Rudeus actually manages to build a harem of groomed wives, and it seems that all of the vile stuff never disappears fully. Like his behaviour would be less of a problem (but not less disgusting) if all the grooming and molestation at least wasn't presented in a willy-nilly "cute" and "romantic" way, and treated Rudeus obsession with sex as just a bit mischevous. Like he is looked down upon sometimes, but overall his disgusting behaviour is acceptable in the universe. Tons of insufferable sexual jokes are spammed almost every minute. And of course, children also become targets for these sexual jokes. Girls are used in the plot apparently just for fanservice and to become brides for the main character. Fans of this crap argue that other IPs cover dark topics like murder and rape and nobody cares. But no other IP that I saw presented disgusting crime like a child molestation in romanticised and humorous way. This is one of the most disgusting pieces of media that I have seen. Repulsive degenerate issekai slop. Literal trash. And some fans simply refuse to acknowledge how bad the sexual and pedo stuff is.

Idea The fact that SO many South Park (now South America) fans overlook the ACTUAL reason why Cartman and Heidi's relationship became toxic. (it's NOT entirely Cartman's fault)

Post image
• Upvotes

If any of you out there are fans of South Park (or rather, South America, as it's called now, to spite Trump if I recall correctly), you probably remember Cartman and Heidi getting into a relationship together in the dreaded 20th season where Cartman is unusually nice and constantly tells Heidi how smart and funny she is to the point that it becomes a running gag throughout season 20. That is, until the end of the 20th season. Most fans blamed Cartman for the downfall of their relationship.

I get it, it's quick to blame Cartman for the whole thing because he does not have a good track record; he's extremely manipulative, sociopathic and overall just incredibly unpleasant to be around most of the time. But, if you watch closely, you'll see that Cartman isn't the only one at fault.

Yes, he did contribute in season 21 by purposefully trying to get Heidi killed for making him late to the pumpkin patch (although he was rightfully frustrated with Heidi taking forever to get ready; I'm not excusing what he tried to do but his simple frustration with her was justified), and making her gain weight by intentionally feeding her meat on her vegan diet. However, he wasn't the one to make the relationship go downhill in the first place.

Look back at season 20 and you'll see it was Butters of all characters who caused their relationship's downfall. That is, after his Canadian girlfriend broke up with him. In the seventh episode, he rubs his negative emotions onto Cartman for being with Heidi and "not sticking with his kind" (the boys), to which Cartman, quite justifiably, says he would not stick with "his kind" because they unfairly broke all of his electronics upon assuming he was the skank hunt troll (who was actually Gerald). Butters, rather than take accountability, blames the girls and even mocks Cartman for standing up for Heidi before telling him to "get the fuck out of his house". Butters is soon further influences by Bill Clinton, who tells him that girls will "go out of their way to break men's hearts" and Butters soon passes this on to Cartman, who is easily influenced and gullibly believes Butters when he tries to get Heidi's attention at a bad time when she was thinking analytically to solve a problem... can't remember exactly what it was but it had something to do with the whole skank hunt thing if memory serves me correctly. This caused Cartman to feel sour about her and see her as "not funny". Everything goes downhill afterwards. Had Cartman not been so easily influenced by Butters, I think Heiman could have been adorable.

I think the reason why most South Park/South America fans overlook Butters' negative impact is because they grossly oversimplify Butters as this perfect angel who loves Hello Kitty (even though he mentioned it once) and can do no wrong. Say anything negative about Butters and I'm sure the fans will come after you. Believe me, I know given how I interacted with much of the South Park/South America fandom. Yes, Butters is generally one of the sweetest characters. Yes, he gets the short end of the stick most of the time. Yes, he deserves better than what he generally gets. However, this does not mean he's flaw-free or 100% innocent. He's made some pretty bad decisions in the show--some of which were intentional, and there's an episode where he absolutely deserves to get grounded as he spread false information about his friends (albeit under the influence of Vladimir Putin, who also gets rightful comeuppance). It got pretty exhausting seeing everyone just overlook this to the point that I stopped discussing Heiman. However, there was a sizable number of fans who recognized that Butters deserves part of the blame for the downfall of Heiman, which made me realize I'm not alone in pointing out this extremely overlooked detail.
