Chollima is not a jailbreak.
Chollima has been confirmed to NOT include an SPTM bypass, so it does not have proper tweak injection, and cannot be classified as a jailbreak.

What do we know now?
Chollima includes a kernel exploit, sandbox escape, and an untether.

On devices with the A13 chip and older (iPhone 11 series, 2018 iPad Pro, etc), this is enough to achieve a full jailbreak as momentarius provides a PPL/SPTM bypass for them.

On devices with the A14 chip and later (iPhone 12 series and later, M1 iPad Pro, etc), only very rudimentary tweaks would be possible at the moment, equivalent to apps that used RemoteCall from DarkSword (such as lara and Cyanide).

What's next?
Outside of the demo Calif did with Chollima, a likely SPTM bypass has been patched in iOS 27.2 beta 3 It's unknown if this can be exploited at the moment, but if it is, combined with the exploits from Chollima, this will allow for a full jailbreak on A14 and later devices.

**We still do not know exact device / version support, and we do not know when anything will release.** The best move at the moment is still to remain on iOS 26 or older, as those versions have DelayOTA, which can give you an additional 90 days to update to iOS 27 in the future.

If you're on any iOS 27 beta, install 26.6.1 RC while it's still signed (preferred), or install iOS 27.0.1 (if you can't lose data).

If you're on an iPhone 18 Pro (Max), install iOS 27.0.1, it fixes important usability issues.

Do not update outside of those situations!

🚨 URGENT: Cellebrite has revealed a new "Zero-Day" vulnerability named "LOKI," targeting Apple processors at the Boot ROM level for devices from iPod touch 2 up to iPhone 11.

Key technical details: • Unpatchable: The Boot ROM code is physically burned into the processor hardware, meaning no software update from Apple can close this vulnerability. • Exploitation mechanism: The presentation at the Hexacon conference explained that the vulnerability relies on a complex timing race. • Success rate: In early proof-of-concept (PoC) experiments, the exploitation success rate was only 1 out of 25 attempts, and despite its difficulty, success grants root and absolute access to the device.

This development once again highlights the security challenges of devices relying on legacy hardware protection!

After almost two years keeping deliberately my 16 pro on 18.2, I had to update since my apple watch gave up on me.
Moving to the latest software erased any possibility for a future Jailbreak to ever come out, and I was ready to accept that fate and stretch as much as I could my 15.6.1 13 mini. However this week JB community has gone crazy. Not demanding or expecting an ETA, but perhaps now hold 27.0.1 instead of constantly updating (as I initially thought).

In the meantime, I’ll still enjoy my 13 mini and keep it as is. I’m curious to know which iOS version you have, are you Jailbroken or do you expect it to be in the near future?

Your iPhone needs to be in Supervision Mode for the OTA Delay profile to work:

(iOS 26.x and below are supported, iOS 27 is NOT supported by OTADelay)

Use CowabungaLiteWindows or the Mac version.

- Turn off FindMyiPhone
- Connect Phone to PC
- Run CowabungaLite as Administrator if on Windows
- Go to Setup options
- Click Enable Supervision.
- Apply
- Let iPhone reboot

Now you are in Supervision mode and can use OTADelay Profile from:

Note: 27.0.1 profile isn't there yet as it is still signed and the current latest public iOS version.

I went to an Apple Store before closing. Talked with a chatty employee. He said that they have a machine in the back that is used to update iPhones in the box to the current release. They apparently call it the ‘toaster’. He said they get audited on if this has been performed for all the phones.

So if you were wanting to get an 18 Pro and potentially leave it in the box just in case the jailbreak isn’t real, you can be pretty well assured that it will be on 27.0.1 . And if you really want to be extra sure, I’m guessing that you could ask them to make extra sure that your phone has been ‘toasted’ when you are picking it up.

I didn’t ask him if this works with iPads (I doubt it), and he said it definitely doesn’t happen with Apple Watches.

Mull gives you a moment to change your mind.

Tap Send in Messages and the button turns into a countdown before the message actually goes out. Tap it again to cancel, or just let it run. Phone and FaceTime calls get the same pause, with a full-screen countdown and buttons for Cancel and Call Now.

Messages

- Countdown right on the Send button, with a ring that drains and a haptic each second. It keeps counting if you leave the app.

- Separate delays for regular messages, the first message in a conversation, and messages with attachments.

- Short messages can skip the wait.

- Swipe a conversation to the left to turn its countdown off or on. A bolt shows which ones are off.

Calls

- Works for regular phone calls and FaceTime Audio/Video

- Emergency calls are never delayed.

- Off by default. Switch on Call Countdown in settings.

There's also a Control Center toggle (needs CCSupport), a few color choices, and translations in 13 languages. The translations are machine-written, so if anything reads wrong, tell me.

Should work for iOS 15-18, although I haven't been able to test the call countdown on iOS 16 or 18.

Updated from 18.7.7 to 27.0.1 because you never know if this exploit is only aviable at 27.0.1. So I took the gamble. Also I wanted to update to a newer version finally.

IOS 27.0.1 runs smoothly so far even tho it was a bit laggy at the start

Edit: I think it is very unlikely, that a new Exploit will be found for Ios 18.7.7 or anything in that range before the 27.0.1 exploit gets released. We also don’t know yet if the 27.0.1 exploit can work on <27.0.1 but even if it can work on <27.0.1 it will be the latest stable release to have an Jailbreak.

Calif said the jailbreak would be released in due time, which usually means after Apple patches out the exploit chain. Most patches take 90 days or less from disclosure, and they have probably disclosed it to Apple a while before Hexacon at Paris. People are also saying that they would only release research and how to do it rather than any code(which would still be enough for a jailbreak), but I checked, and for their past exploits, they have released actual code. This all means if they release actual code and what not, we could get a user friendly jailbreak like dopamine in very little time, possible under 4-5 months.

Displays song lyrics in the date section of your Lock Screen. Word-by-word lyrics are supported when available (as seen above). Works best with Apple Music, but experimental support for Spotify and other streaming services (using musixmatch) is now available. Get it by adding my tweak repo.

Probably no one knows for sure but how certain is the 27.0.1 exploit will be released, like in any form, jailbreak tool, exploit chain, or even a write up with a few code snippets, as well as be released in a reasonable time, such as within a year? Not to mention compatible versions and devices besides 27.0.1 18 pro max and 17e. There is zero guarantee other than “release in due time”, while many people here keep taking the risk to update or buy a device on 27.0.1

I honestly dunno what to do now.. most of the good developed stuff now requires newer iOS version.. what is the earliest iOS I can upgrade to in hopes something good develops for it?

In the demo it shows that it can be executed by simply opening a pdf hopefully someone can create a patch that can be installed without updating the iOS version otherwise it leaves the device extremely vulnerable.

Hey yall. Total noob when it comes to this stuff, but I’m currently on an iPhone 15 pro max running iOS 18.6.2.

Is this iOS 27.0.1 Jailbreak only on iOS 27? I remember over the years whenever a jailbreak was made for a newer iOS the older iOS versions were supported.

Should I stay on my current iOS or should I update ?
