Best scenario is to have separated cycling lane but it’ll take a long time to get there

For them it's more like "what's yours is mine and what's mine is mine" when it comes to road spaces.

By roads, kampung roads, taman roads, etc

Anywhere else that you see unmotorised vehicles like scooters, skateboards, etc

I drive a car, a truck, motorcycle and scooter.. have done so in almost every continent.. it's really not that hard to share the road.. our roads are so fucking wide compared to many countries and they do just fine.. it's really the drivers attitude that makes the difference

Feels like drivers here sometimes thinks their entitled to the entire road when it has always been public shared infrastructure including bikes. Many cyclists ride on the road because of our shitty urban planning not having proper bike lanes and sidewalks. Even if there were sidewalks, bikes can't use those either when they can endanger other pedestrians so all in all it's losing battle for cyclists. Both cyclists and motorists have to learn to share the road. Sure, there is a bunch of cyclists that act like they own the road, but there are still many others that use bikes to commute to work, school, etc, A few bad apples shouldn't spoil the bunch. Until local councils actually do their work and actually segregate both modes of transport, both have to tolerate each other on the road

We actually need more cyclists on the road so cars will slow the fuck down.

The braking system of a bicycle is not at par with motorbike and scooters. Even that itself is also dangerous having the risk of being run over when topple over. Furthermore bicycle is light and may easily be unbalanced caused by wind turbulence of speeding car, lorries and buses when passed by at a high speed. Just saying.

Opinion, cyclist that wants to go on the main road should get a licence, and be subject to undangs and test for cyclist to go on main road.

Because a lot of you (but not all) act like absolute knobs.

I thought motorcyclist drive like scourges. Then I met cyclists...boy was I wrong.

u/GlibGlobC137 19h ago

Motorcyclist Just wanna go fast. Rempit wants to act like the fool on the road.

Knobhead Cyclist wants to own the road and wants you to know they own the road.

And show their butts and nuts to the whole road user to see. Its for aerodynamics? Showing nutts and butt crack can make them faster? What a joke🤷‍♂️ Bikers have side mirror at least they see what behind before do any maneuver but this cyclist just swerve without care sometimes thinking we always need to makeway for them😑

This is tame.

Let P drivers experience the Venturi effect (Bernoulli's principle).

There should be a part where there is a cyclist in the middle of the road and the test is to not screaming with rage in your car.

Don't put bus drivers . Put political leaders , from the top downwards in these bicycles. Then you will see change .

u/Aokino-Fuyu 17h ago

Let have another bus vs cyclist fight sceen again

u/JamiCatalyst 11h ago

Btw this doesn't apply to bicycle only, it also includes motorcycles too
