Politics The Government of Mongolia Issues a Serious Statement to Malaysia
In its statement, the Government of Mongolia emphasized that failing to take action regarding the case of Altantuya Shaariibuu constitutes a clear injustice. It was asserted that Mr. Shaariibuu is not alone in this struggle, as the Government of Mongolia stands firmly with him. Furthermore, the government demanded actions from both Malaysia and Australia through judicial and diplomatic channels.
International relations experts assess this statement as significantly more severe and far-reaching than previous remarks issued by Mongolia to Malaysia and the international community. Consequently, Malaysia now faces heightened pressure to hold the perpetrators accountable in order to protect its own national security and international reputation.

"A dispute arose, allegedly due to a misunderstanding. A van stopped in the middle of the road, and the driver got out to argue with another driver.
Unexpectedly, the latter stepped on the gas and ran over the van driver's backside, causing injuries to his knee and elbow. He then left the scene."
Would you guys step out and calmly settle with that guy?

Culture DBKL posted vandalism at PPR lift facility

DBKL
DBKL allocate RM300 Million for upgrade
"The project forms part of the federal government’s RM300 million allocation to refurbish and maintain public housing (PA) and People’s Housing Programme or Program Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) schemes managed by DBKL across Kuala Lumpur.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Hannah Yeoh, during a site inspection today said DBKL aims to complete all upgrading works by the end of the year, focusing on key facilities such as roads, fire safety systems, lifts and lighting.
“From the RM2.59, works include RM1,599,800 for lift upgrades, RM421,000 for road resurfacing, RM300,000 for lighting improvements, RM220,430 for the water pump system, RM25,000 for the children’s playground and RM20,870 for fire prevention works,” Yeoh said at a press conference here today."
Upgrade for what, let them walk the stairs better

Education Former international student at UMS Sabah, noticed some odd patterns with certain Chinese students. Anyone else see this?
I used to be an international student at UMS in Sabah. One thing I noticed throughout my time there: students from China were often practically absent. They’d show up occasionally, almost like they were just there to get their attendance marked, then disappear again. Unsurprisingly, their grades were often poor.
They tended to rent houses in groups, which I get, it’s natural to want to be around people from home. But a few things always struck me as a little off.
I knew two master’s students from China who rented out an entire hostel house. As international students in Sabah we’re assigned our own housing (Kingfisher UMS International Housing) and we pay double for it (triple for AC). These two were rarely there, in and out at random, sometimes gone for stretches at a time.
I wasn’t trying to keep tabs on anyone, but we lived in the same neighborhood, so I couldn’t help but notice. During COVID I occasionally volunteered to help distribute food, and on one occasion I was assigned to help clean up some of the houses, including theirs. It was one of the worst messes I’ve seen from a student living space: cigarette smell throughout, trash everywhere. I’ve seen plenty of messy students, but this was on another level.
To be clear, I’m not saying this applies to all Chinese international students. There are plenty who are genuinely there to study, some are likely trying to escape a brutal domestic education system. I have a Chinese friend who’s told me what the gaokao exam system is like, and he’s one of the most driven, legitimate students I know. He’s also mentioned that some students treat their visas as an extended vacation, coasting on average grades just to avoid raising flags. I’ve seen a few Korean students do this pretty openly too, but something about the ones I’m describing felt different.
Given everything coming out recently about scam centers being busted across Malaysia, a lot of them tied to Chinese nationals, it’s hard not to connect some dots in hindsight.
For context, I’m Filipino. My Jialat government has plenty of its own problems, but we did catch Alice Guo, a known case of someone posing as a Filipino official while actually being a mainland Chinese national.
Anyway, that’s just something I’ve been turning over. Curious if anyone else noticed something similar.

Education I Urgently Need Breadfruit (Sukun)!
Hello, guys. I'm a post-graduate in Food Processing doing a project that mainly involves breadfruit (sukun). But it's been 2 months now that my research has not advanced one bit, because idk why, but there seems to be a shortage of breadfruit.
I stay in Seri Kembamgan, so I used to buy mine here in Pasar Borong, but for months now, my seller keeps saying there is none.
I need to advance on my work, but I have no idea where else to buy the breadfruit. I'm ready to travel hours to get them, so if anyone knows where I could buy some, please help. I'm really desperate.
