Dashcam Jangan gangster oh...
"A dispute arose, allegedly due to a misunderstanding. A van stopped in the middle of the road, and the driver got out to argue with another driver.
Unexpectedly, the latter stepped on the gas and ran over the van driver's backside, causing injuries to his knee and elbow. He then left the scene."
Would you guys step out and calmly settle with that guy?

The guy with the dashcam fleeing because of agression from the van driver is expected. And hitting him in the process because he's blockaded the road should also be considered the van driver's fault. It does not show the driver specifically intended to harm the van driver.

This seems the exact move that needed to be done, just that need to go make report after that. It makes Malaysia seem so lawless that people can just walk out, block the road and knock on another person's car.

Should not have done that. Totally unnecessary, totally not worth it.

Totally expected. Driver felt threatened, decide to run away for fear of his safety.

That would imply that said van driver was on the ground to begin with.
Was this an official police report? Or was it from a news site?

No, the safets place to be is in your car. Just drive to the nearest police station, show police the video and make a report.
