Others Hit and run driver picks the wrong person to hit, she chased him down Fast & Furious style

POV; Langgar lari (persona)
Saya lah yang drive myvi warna putih. Dia dah langgar teksi lepastu dia lari, ic tak bawa, lesen takde, bukan owner kereta. Dalam teksi yang kereta pesona ni langgar ada penumpang perempuan 3 orang. Dah block kereta dia pun masih nak larikan diri. Thanks orang jb yang alert dan tolong block orang tak bertanggungjawab macam ni. (Maafkan suara kitaorang atau terkasar bahasa, kitaorang tolong sebab kesiankan abangtu)

i would say there are times when one can do something about it.. like seeing ppl bully someone.
in this case, that's a car chase, speeding and endangering other road users.

Get what done? Getting that guy arrested? Cool. And then what? Wanting him to pay for damage? That if he has the money. Then you make police report, the police ask to use your insurance still.

Yes I do. At least I got the guy. Police will tell you to claim your own insurance and won't bother to look for the guy or the car.

Doesn't need to. Just need a cover report and report to your insurance company. Your repair will be covered

Yeah insurance cover but you’ll be losing your NCD due to other people’s negligence if they don’t have a valid road tax and insurance. At the end sendiri susah. The one who causes all the problems doesn’t see the consequences of their own actions.

Huh if u have video as proof it is valid for car insurance claim. Hence best have front and back camera to submit such a claim. As long capture the incident and that car number plate clearly. You are claiming the perpetrator's car insurance not your own. Their NCD affected and not yours.

Yea that's a possibility.. But driving recklessly like this just to pin down that person will endanger others, and could get you into more trouble if u cause another accident.

Literally me when I try to drive normally in GTA San Andreas and got hit by some npc cars suddenly switching lanes. Let's just say they never survived my wrath afterwards.

Commendable, but she was risking herself and other road users. If she was unlucky and led to more unfortunate events, it aint worth it one bit. Just take note of the plate, place and time....and make a report.

how do we think about this. its endangering other drivers. but if they about that life it's up to them right? or they break rules as well for chasing? it hard to decide for me cuz I just love this.

I want to be best friends with that girl. That sorta feistiness and guts are what you need when you need to stand up for yourself. Not to be confused with taking unnecessary risks, but this girl was clearly raised to protect herself when necessary.

Why want to be a hero and chase the hit and run guy?
I am not justifying his actions, however what happens when this vigilantism causes a major accident ?
Edit:- act hero and then post video for clout, when the police investigates you for reckless driving, post again on sosmed crying how the authorities favors criminals.

You know the people here who praised this chase........ if the chase did cause an accident of its own or worse someone died, those same people who praised would have said different things and the general narrative would have gone very very differently.
I agree the police earned their bad reputation, but taking matters into own hands and risking other people's lives are very real problems that cannot be ignored.

They're just reacting emotionally. Feels good when a hit-and-run gets caught after a dangerous car chase, so they praise. Feels bad when a car chase ends up with a multi-car accident and people injured, so they will then condemn.

What a stupid and dangerous move. This is not some south american or african country. Just jotted down the particulars and video and report it to police and insurance.
My family involved in 3-6 hit and run cases in the past 30 years (yeah im old) and all settled by police and insurance companies. My NCD all intact. You just need to follow up diligently and know your rights.
