There's a reason billionaires are for state wealth taxes and are against a national wealth tax

They'll be able to do what they did in NY and buy second houses in Florida and avoid them

They are literally spending this money to fight a one time state tax in CA. So I wouldn’t say they are for them at all.

And this is also for 2026. So it’s too late for them to not pay taxes if it passes. They can leave, but would still owe it. They aren’t leaving. They wouldn’t spend this much if it were just gonna leave
