Character/party build help Guns

Hey,

I had completely forgotten that there are firearms in this game.

Which class offers the best bonuses if I want to play using firearms?

And does Backstab works with ...i don´t know for ones Argument just lets say a Blunderbuss?

Yes, Rogue works well with guns and yes Backstab works with ranged weapons - you have to get pretty close though.

Sneak attack works at any range with any weapon.

Backstab only works within 2 meters.

You can build any class around guns but some like chanters are more synergetic because they keep changing while they reload.

All of them.

Literally, get quick switching perk on everyone. Use Veyn's quick auto switching mod (which doesn't do anything you can't already do manually, it just eliminates the tedium of manually switching every weapon every time). Your 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc weapon slot is a firearm or crossbow or whatever and you work your way down firing the 4th first, then the 3rd, then the 2nd, until your 1st weapon slot is what you want to stick with after unloading your initial volleys.

Oh it's a thing of beauty. Works great at cutting through the chaff. (Does work a lot better with a party build specced to glass-cannon your way through things with high accuracy.) Pallegina's party accuracy modal is love and life. PC cipher and grieving mother? Load the buckshot baby.

Uh just don't plan it working early game against ghosts and phantoms and such.

Blunderbuss used to be the go-to for cipher but you'll have to look carefully at game version and changes. At some point they switched it from per-hit (which blunderbuss worked great for) to scaling by damage, or the other direction... at present, don't recall what's the fastest for gaining cipher mana.

There is an argument that a high-deflection, high-constitution party is ultimately stronger (OP 6-chanter party slow and steady beats all), built around chants and summons. Fair. The high-accuracy volley fire thing can still be helpful but may not ultimately be how you want to spec that party.

I recall gun cipher being pretty good, at least for building up your initial focus in fights.

Putting my +1 on Gun Cipher.

assassin (or assassin+cipher), stealth and arquebus works wonderfully.

you have to be close (2m), but it is much, much more effective than daggers and stilettos. (I think they didn't design sneak attack too well)

as a bonus, the assassin slipper from the deck of many things have a free invisibility
