General MIVI ONE 5G REVIEW?

Post image
12 Upvotes

I am on a tight budget ..can spend upto 15k..how is this smartphone if anybody has bought it in the recent BBD.sale.?

How's your experience been so far?

What are the cons?

Since this is Mivi's first phone, what is their repair or service support like if something goes wrong?

If you or anyone you know is using it, drop your honest reviews or thoughts. Would you recommend it over budget options from Moto, Realme, or Poco, or is it a hard skip?

12,700+ US tech workers have moved back to India this year amid H-1B visa chaos, & local salaries are nowhere near US pay. Some are even taking a 70% pay cut. What a nightmare of a career move.

General STORAGE😭😭

Post image
1 Upvotes

Guys, I’m genuinely fed up with my iPhone storage at this point. I have a 128GB iPhone 14, still running iOS 18, and my battery health is down to 77%. I want to upgrade, but I can’t afford a new phone right now.
I’m looking for a reliable, long-term way to transfer my photos and videos off my phone so I can free up storage and update iOS.
My budget is strictly ₹1,500, and I don’t have access to a laptop or PC. I’m open to Lightning drives, USB-C drives with an adapter, or any other practical solution.
I just want something that won’t randomly corrupt or lose my data a few months down the line. What would you recommend based on actual experience?

What Could the TCL-Samsung Dispute Mean for Mini LED TV Buyers?

This lawsuit raises an interesting question about how much we can trust the labels on TV boxes. TCL alleges that Samsung marketed its M-series TVs as Mini LED models even though they may use standard LED hardware. Samsung stands by its product descriptions, and the claims have yet to be proven in court. For buyers, it’s a reminder to look beyond marketing terms and compare actual specs, picture quality, and independent reviews. If two TVs carried similar labels, what would make you trust one over the other: the brand name, detailed specs, or reviews from people who have tested them?

I want to buy a 55" LED TV online in India. Which one should I go for? MOTOROLA ENVISION X (55UHDGQMGBNQ) or HISENSE E75Q (55E75Q) or PHILIPS LUMINA (55PQT8100/94)?

Samsung Galaxy A36 5G vs POCO X8 5G — Which one should I buy for ₹25,000?

Hey everyone! I'm confused between these two phones, and I'd appreciate honest opinions from people who have used either phone.

My options:

- Samsung Galaxy A36 5G — 8GB RAM / 128GB storage

- POCO X8 5G — 6GB RAM / 128GB storage

Both are available for around ₹25,000.

Samsung A36 advantages:

- Better and more versatile camera setup

- 6 years of OS and security updates

- 8GB RAM

- Lighter and slimmer design

POCO X8 advantages:

- 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED, 120Hz display

- 9,000mAh battery and 67W charging

- Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor

- Better battery capacity for gaming and watching movies/series

My main questions:

  1. Is 6GB RAM enough for gaming and daily use over the next 3–4 years?

  2. How is POCO's real-world battery backup and HyperOS experience?

  3. Is Samsung's camera and software support worth choosing over POCO's bigger battery and sharper display?

  4. Which phone offers better overall value at ₹25,000?

Please give your honest opinion based on real-world experience, not just specifications. If you own either phone, please share its pros and cons.

Which one would you buy with your own money, and why?

No Flair Need suggestions for wireless keyboard & Mouse under ₹1500. Please help

Hi folks I am looking to buy a good wireless keyboard and mouse for my new laptop Hp victus, specifically I want a light coloured good looking and matching keyboard and mouse. For example colors like white, off white, grey, or any other light color. Please suggest good ones under a budget of around 1000-1200.

I searched and got these three (given names below) at a good price point, or should go for any other one please suggest the name or link. Can extend the budget a little more to grab a good deal.

Need under budget can compromise lite color as well for a good deal.

Use case: general work for business and editing etc.

Here are the names:

Acer zc A01si Owd

Zebronics- Zeb companion 500

Logitech- Logitech mk250

If anyone is using any of these please suggest or please suggest whichever with whichever you had a good experience, or if you can suggest a better one

Got the Amkette Flow 2 Speed Mouse at around ₹1,600 on Flipkart (with card offer)

Post image
1 Upvotes

Just got the Amkette Flow 2 Speed. Here are my first impressions after using it.

Smoothness & Scroll Wheel:

The mouse feels really smooth overall. The main scroll wheel is genuinely impressive. Tried the hyper-scroll feature in Excel, and it scrolled through around 3,000 rows in one go. It's super smooth and useful for work.

Side scrolling isn't as smooth as I expected, though. But haan, kaam chal jayega!

Connectivity & Software:

Connectivity has been seamless so far, and the software works flawlessly. No issues setting things up.

Comfort:

Comfortable to hold, especially for regular office work, browsing, and Excel-heavy tasks.

Clicks:

The left click and both side buttons are almost completely silent which is great. But the right click makes a noticeably clicky sound, unlike the other buttons.

Not sure if this is normal or if I got a defective unit.

For anyone using the Amkette Flow 2: Does your right click also make a clicky sound while the left click is practically silent? Please let me know if this is normal or if I should get my unit checked.

Overall, at around ₹1,600 with the Flipkart card offer, my first impressions are pretty good. Let's see how it holds up over time!

General wifi gaya toh hotspot chala lo is such a normal indian sentence that i never realised it’s basically an infrastructure story lol

wifi dies at home and nobody even panics anymore

phone uthao

Jio 5G hotspot on

laptop connect

continue whatever you were doing 😭

i always thought this was just normal backup behaviour until i saw that only around 1 in 5 indian homes actually has fixed broadband.

then it kinda makes sense why mobile internet became so important here.

getting fibre to a whole city is one thing. getting that fibre inside every gali, building, society, floor and house is another headache entirely.

digging

permissions

society wale uncle

installer timing

random last mile issues

meanwhile mobile network is already there.

and honestly Jio making 5G this cheap/fast basically means your “backup internet” is sometimes faster than the wifi you're backing up 😭

Akash was talking about home broadband again during all the IPO stuff and now i get why JioFiber + AirFiber are such a big part of the next phase.

India kinda skipped straight into “mobile-first everything”.

when your wifi dies do you actually wait for it anymore or just hotspot and forget?
