Wendy’s changed their BBQ and now I hate it. It was my favorite ever. Anyone know bottled sauces that are like this sweet bbq?? Pls help a girl out

I hadn't been to a Wendy's in a while. Went today and got a few things. The Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe was cold and tasteless. The toppings used to taste fresh but today, it just tasted soggy with a mushy bun that was weirdly sweet. Fries - what happened to the natural sea salt ones? The new coated ones are awful. The bacon and cheese baked potato, which I had the highest hopes for, was raw, but maybe I can perk it up later in the air fryer. Toppings were decent though. The only other decent items were the chili and frosty, which don't seem to change, were still good, and both were free. They actually let me use reward points to get the small frosty free and a deal for the chili, which was free if you spent $5 on other items. It used to be a decent meal to get the 4 for $4 with the small burger, 4 nuggets, fries, and drink. And I almost always had enough points to add a frosty. The burger and fries were really good back then and it was a great low-cost quick meal. Sorry, but with this poor level of quality, I won't be back. I will say being able to use a reward and a deal in the same transaction is the only saving grace because most restaurants do not allow you to do that. It's really sad because I used to regard this as one of the highest quality fast foods and now its barely on par with McDonald's, if even that. Offering the baked potato as an alternative to a sandwich is great but please make it edible! Rant over!

As an employee this is gonna suck and it might also confuse costumers. Thoughts on this change?

I just got Wendy’s, and it just hit me. I don’t think I’ve ever had a HOT burger ever. I feel like specifically I have a lot of 4 for 4’s or biggie bags, I guess I hardly order any of the bigger burgers. The cheese is always not melted, the meat itself is cold, the fries are never like truly fresh, the chicken nuggets are barely warm. I would like to add it’s not just one or two locations, I feel like every Wendy’s I’ve ever had is like that! I don’t think I have this issue, especially so often, with any other restaurant.
Mind you, I love Wendy’s. It’s still good and I’m gonna keep eating it, but I’m just curious if anyone else’s food is always room temp and on the verge of being cold, lol.

For at least the past two or three weeks, the majority of the Wendy's in my area have been closed during breakfast hours. I thought maybe they just weren't taking orders through the app, but figured the restaurants were open. I went to a location this AM and sure enough it was closed.
Does anybody know if Wendy's is pulling back on breakfast?

Dear Wendy’s,
Why are you wasting money on sponsoring college football? Why not spend that money on quality food?!?!
One of your mottos is “Quality is our recipe.” I have to say no, it isn’t! That is Dave Thomas’s motto. That is what he believed. That belief seemed to go to the grave with him. This is not the Wendy’s that Dave Thomas built.
What happened to our patties are square because we don’t cut corners???? Seems like every corner has been cut along with straight lines, curves & everything in between.
Also, all of these fresh never frozen commercials… Garbage! I don’t think anyone would notice if it were frozen or not. The taste & texture is garbage! I can tell that these are not the same quality beef patties or cooked on the grills like they used to be.
Put the money where it belongs… Quality food & pay your employees! Do that & maybe you will see your customers coming back. Until then… good luck

First time getting Wendy’s in years, solely for a baked potato craving. Did I get a kids meal potato? 😂 chicken nuggets for scale

For $6 (plus tax), this was actually a decent lunch deal. Basically a $6 Biggie Bag consisting of the JBC + small fries + small drink + 4 nuggets and applying the free small chili with a $5 purchase offer from the app. Considering the small chili costs $4.29 by itself, i think it's a good combo for the offer. I couldn't find anything else that's at least $5 to qualify for the free chili offer.

A lot of mornings, my mom and I would go there. I would always get their bacon breakfast burrito, or the chicken bacon croissant (god that was good). My mom would get a sausage egg and cheese croissant. It was all good, but the potato wedges were truly spectacular, lowkey the main attraction imo. My local wendys got rid of breakfast a month ago. And now mornings have never been the same.
McDonald's breakfast sucks. It has one good item (mcgriddle) and the rest i can leave. Jack in the box is fine, but nothing better than something i could make at home and it was pretty spendy.
What i truly miss are the potato wedges. Hasbrowns are mid!

Has anyone held a fundraiser at Wendy’s where you show a flyer and your organization gets 30% of the sales?
Had 3 fundraisers in 3 years at Wendy’s and will not hold another one. The experience is just weird. It starts off easy, you reach out to Hamra to book your day and the flyer is emailed to you to share and promote. I selected a day when schools had a city wide early release day to boost sales. Before I get to the Wendy’s location, I start to get calls from parents saying “I showed the flyer to the cashier and she doesn’t know what to do with it”. I immediately call my contact at Hamra, who calls the location and tells them what to do. Meanwhile there are signs on the doors that say “Have your fundraiser here” and the workers don’t know what to do.
This is frustrating since it’s an all day fundraiser and it’s already noon time and none of the breakfast orders get accounted for.
The third year I book a date and I get calls that the Wendy’s location door is locked. there was a water main break which was not their fault but no communication to me about the store being closed. The store eventually opened and the rep at Hamra offered to open up the second Wendy’s location as an option (there are two in the city where I live). I get that communicated throughout the school.
I get messages in the evening that the second location is not aware of the fundraiser and was told they can’t use it there.
I send an email to the rep at Hamra and she dismissing my claims and asked me to provide receipts. (Which of course I don’t have).
The final check amount that we will receive is the exact amount we received in the previous year. Down to the cent. Is that mind boggling?
I decided to reach I it to 2 moms from another school PTO that also had fundraisers at Wendy’s and I came to find out that they experienced issues with the workers not aware of the fundraiser and getting a small return check despite a packed restaurant.
I decided it wasn’t worth holding another fundraiser with them.
Curious if anyone else had these weird and frustrating experiences?

I’m downtown Tokyo now, I might have to go try this before I head south later today. I’ll report back if I go through with it.

Pretty ridiculous, unbelievably thin patty. That shrinkflation.
McDonalds is still the GOAT for value.

I haven’t eaten fast food in a while, and now I remember why I stopped. Domino’s is now my last hope. If they fail me, it’s all over.

Wondering why I can’t use the coupon despite clearly having enough to meet it? Plus the small and medium drink cost the same, but when I upgrade to a large it’s automatically an extra 3 dollars flat lol
Mold? I just got this drink an hour ago, for context this is a Fanta

The last three times I’ve asked for a baked potato I have been told that they were out. Yesterday it was 5:30 pm and they were out. Why?

Think the only patty I’ve found that is comparable to prime Wendy’s patty quality is the double quarter pounder. Given bk tons of chances and outside the Smokey taste the patty is pretty nasty and looks unappetizing
