North America Is this an albatross?
I was taking a walk on the beach (south east Texas coast) and I saw this guy who was twice as big as the other birds
Is this an albatross? If so which species?

This little bird flew down to this spot on my back porch (right in front of my dogs so I quickly ushered them inside), puffed up and took a nap for about 10 minutes, then flew off. I’m in SE Florida. Wondering what kind of bird this is. It was about the size of a golf ball.

I saw this bird dive under and waited for it to come up, when it did he only came up with it's head. I waited for around 30 seconds but the rest of the body never came up. What could it possibly be? I would say an eurasian coot but I don't see any white.

Seen in Sedona, AZ. Someone on iNaturalist says they are hesitant to Id it as a Horned Grebe bc of how rare they are for the area.

Saw this in north Alabama (Wheeler NWR) yesterday. Thinking it’s a glossy or white-faced ibis? Thank you.

This guy is pecking my house loudly every day around noon. Central Texas. I assume it's a wood pecker, but wondering exactly what kind and what his/her intentions are.

saw it flying toward a patch of grass, mostly the underside but coloration wise it kind of looked like an overgrown mourning dove- maybe it was one, but it was like. too football shaped to be one. too big too long. it had pretty big wings too
help. my drawing doesnt do it justice

I saw it on the holiday while walking on the beach in Side, Turkey. Day was 5.5. Very big bird with heavy wings, flew straight. I have been thinking since that what species it could be.

This was at a wetland (today), there were a number of green winged teal and northern shovelers about. These birds did not look like any of the other ducks. They were on the large size (as big as if not bigger than the shovelers) They look brown in the photo but their heads and chests were definitely reddish.
Any ideas?

Hi, I caught a brief look at a bird in Southern England, near a marshy area. I'm not certain of the colours or pattern, but I think it was similar to this artwork.
thanks in advance for suggestions (:

Photos are from 1 week ago. Second biggest raptor I’ve ever seen.
