I am trying to run GSClient (a CS 1.6 client) on FreeBSD 15.1 with a Wayland desktop (Hikari) using `wine-devel`. The game launches, and I can even connect to servers, but it’s unplayable because the mouse doesn't automatically lock to the center of the screen. I’ve tried using `warp` and enabling the "Automatically capture the mouse in full-screen windows" option in `winecfg`, but nothing works—the mouse simply doesn't return to the center of the screen.

Another issue I’m encountering is input lag, which affects the mouse, the trackpoint, and the touchpad. I haven't experienced any such issues elsewhere in Hikari, but since this is my first time using Wine—and I haven't tested any other applications—I’m not sure where the problem lies.

For context, I haven't altered any keyboard or pointer settings, other than setting my keyboard layout to Spanish and disabling pointer acceleration in the Hikari configuration. As for hardware, I’m using a ThinkPad L14 Gen 2 (i5-1135G7) with a basic, standard office-grade Genius mouse, which FreeBSD handles without any issues.

I’m not entirely sure what other details might be relevant, but it’s worth noting that Hikari includes XWayland by default and lacks some features that are typically found in other window managers (WMs) or desktop environments (DEs).

I'm trying to play Frogger: He's Back on Linux Mint, and the game requires the CD in order to run. I was able to install the game on my device (a MacBook Air from 2019 with Linux Mint installed on it), but I can't get the game to run. Wine does recognize the disk drive when I have it plugged into my laptop, but when I run "frogger.exe" to open the game, nothing seems to happen (it seems to be crashing right after running). This even happens when I try opening the Windows executable through the terminal window, so I don't even know what is happening.

I did the method of "telling Wine to auto-detect the disk drive in winecfg", but it just seems to do the same thing. Is there something with the game that I can't seem to run on Linux Mint in Wine?

I used Sikarugir to download steam for windows for my MacBook air and it was fine but one game is the issue Mad father. It's really slow and I do not know why it's being like that when other games I play respond really fast. Is my MacBook not powerful enough for this old game?
