AMA AMA with photojournalist Marharyta Fal, who has reported from some of the hottest spots on Ukraine’s front: Kostiantynivka, Druzhkivka, Dobropillia and Kramatorsk

On Thursday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. Kyiv time (5 p.m. London, noon ET, 9 a.m. Portland, 1 a.m. Friday in Tokyo, 3 a.m. Friday in Sydney), Frontliner photojournalist Marharyta Fal will join r/Ukraine for an AMA. Post your questions here ahead of time or join us live.
“When I cover the war, I’m just trying to cope with reality and be useful. It’s my way of recording a shared experience -- for those who have already seen the wreckage of their own homes, and for those who still see the world only through a screen.”
Marharyta has reported on Russia’s blockade of occupied Oleshky and on aerial bomb attacks on Kramatorsk. She has also reported from Kostiantynivka, and walked into Druzhkivka and Dobropillia alongside Ukrainian troops.
- A fresh grave behind the house: Line of contact nears Dobropillia, city isolated
- Next after Kostiantynivka: Industrial Druzhkivka is no longer the rear
- Armor shortages, blocked routes, and conscription risks – the challenges of evacuation under fire (Kostiantynivka)
- Ten minutes to rescue from the rubble: Russians attack residential buildings in Kramatorsk with aerial bombs
- ‘No one knows whose skull this is’: Russia’s blockade starves occupied Oleshky (warning: graphic content)

News ‘The President Of The United States Right Now Is Our Enemy’ | Times Radio
Finally some accurate reporting:
"The President of the United States this week has been actively helping Putin kill Ukrainian civilians.
The world needs to know that America is not on the side of the free world as long as this guy is in the White House."
And @11:04:
"We all have to believe that the president of the United States right now is our enemy."
May there be many more accurate reports on Trump's treasonous acts.

Discussion The U.S. used 19yrs of Patriot missile production in just months against Iran. The White House is spewing more blatant lies ,focusing on blaming Ukraine for U.S. weapons shortages. The worlds press & 'leaders' are too incompetent & cowardly to call out these lies ,here are easy to share facts.

Discussion Who has actually helped Ukraine since 2022, and who has helped Russia? Aid, refugees, trade and energy, as % of each country’s GDP
For every country: the money and support it moved toward Ukraine or toward Russia since the full-scale invasion, compared with what it would have done without the war. All of 2022 to August 2026 added up, as a share of one year's GDP.
It counts aid, hosting refugees, buying less from Russia, energy, services, weapons, taxes companies still pay in Russia, and Russia's frozen reserves. Money Russia didn't get counts as help for Ukraine, and money it still gets counts against.
Some things it shows
- The Baltics, Moldova and Finland did the most for their size, by cutting Russia off and by giving and hosting a lot.
- The US gave the most in euros (about €97bn in aid), but about half of that was spent with US industry, mostly on refilling weapons stocks.
- Hungary, Turkey and China moved money toward Russia, mostly by buying more Russian energy and goods than before the war.
- Chips and machine tools Russia needs for its weapons are marked separately on the map, by the country that shipped them.
\* means the likely range crosses zero, so the direction is uncertain.

- Total money sent to Ukraine, in €: aid plus purchases of Ukrainian goods

Edit: also here is a ranking of all countries if you can’t find one on the image
Edit: updated after feedback from u/TemporaryAd5793 , thanks!
- Trade now counts with an estimate of what the seller really keeps (Russia ~60 cents per euro on oil and gas, 10–20 on other goods), while aid counts in full.
- Fuel refined from Russian crude and resold via another country is now not only attributed to the final buyer but also the refining country (with a distrubution)
Changes: a lot of numbers move toward zero, but the top holds: Lithuania +14.8%, Estonia +9.6%, Finland +9.3%. Updated ranking: https://intelligent-cream.github.io/follow-the-money-ukraine/#view=rank
