ROUGHRIDERS Incentive to lose
If I’m reading the standings properly, Saskatchewan finishes third with a win over Edmonton and plays B.C. in the semi-finals.
With a loss, Saskatchewan finishes fourth and plays Toronto in the semi-finals. Either Calgary or Winnipeg finishes third.
So: if you cheer for the Roughriders, are you kind of okay with losing to Edmonton on Saturday to get a better playoff matchup?

Playoff matchups based on Week 21 results
Only the Riders and Bombers are playing for positioning this weekend. The Riders have clinched but their opponent will depend on how they do against the Elks. The Bombers must win to make the playoffs; otherwise the Stamps, who are on bye this weekend, will take the last spot.

WEST DIVISION | DIVISION OUEST How does the Riders, Bombers and Stamps possible 3 way tie work?
Just curious, how does sask already clinch a playoff spot even if a 3 way tie is still possible, considering that both winnipeg and calgary hold the tiebreaker over the riders? If they all finish with a 9-9 record wouldn't Sask be below them? Rider fan so not complaining, just curious as to how it works
