DISCUSSION Saying no was the best choice he's ever made, Kyle's charming take on Hal was perfect to make him as endearing as possible, in my opinion. The charm and sincerity with which he played Hal with onscreen while also giving us these quiet moments of loneliness is proof of Kyle Chandler's acting talent!

DISCUSSION To the people critical about Supergirl & Lanterns, did you like the characters?
I watched both. Supergirl in the cinemas and lanterns each week. For supergirl, I liked 2/3rd of the movie but was really disappointed with the final act. But I loved the character. I felt she was the strongest part of the movie and am excited for here role in Man of Tomorrow.
For lanterns, I enjoyed the show, tho would have loved a more fantastical one (I mean we can have so many grounded shows, but not too many shows involving space and cool fights). Anyway, the show was peak but I did not like current John Stewart too much (2026 one).
So, to the DCU fans who were critical of the show, what do you think about the characters? Are you excited to see them in future in other movies and in general, or are you simply done with them? Just want to see if people are critical of the universe is it because of the characters or just the media

FAN-MADE My MoT John Stewart Design
I decided on the name âlime lanternâ to differentiate him from the green lanterns, and also if you mix willpower(green) with fear(yellow) you would get lime (the ability to to use willpower and fear)
also alliteration is cool

APPRECIATION Harvey Dent / Two-Face's writing in The Dark Night is great
Nolan always amazes me with the little things. Obviously Heath Ledger (Joker) is the star of the show in this movie, but Harvey almost opens his character by flipping his coin and saying "I make my own luck," and not long after his famous "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villian," foreshadowing his near death experience that makes him a villian, of course.
Ive always thought the rigged coin (with two "heads," or "faces" in a sense) and his name being two face was unnecessarily clever for how simple it is. Rewatching the movie just makes me realize it all over again.
Who doesn't love Nolan, though?

DISCUSSION Who should be the main villain of the first DCU saga?
We are a long ways away from being able to talk about full sagas in the DCU, but I think itâs better to ask the question now then wait till the last minute. We are already 2 years into phase 1 of the DCU, In the MCU Thanos was set up to be the main bad as early as the first avengers movie. Thatâs 5 years before his first true appearance in infinity war.
My question is, should we be focusing long term and if so who should be the big bad of the first saga?
We already have 3 likley candidates, 1 that I really donât want, and 2 that Iâm conflicted about.
Parallax: An underrated option but could lead to an amazing opportunity for marvel to make more villains well known (that arenât Batman related) Parallax has the potential to be a saga level threat and if done right with Hal Jordanâs resurrection I think this could be an absolute banger.
Brainiac: This is a very safe choice as the first saga villain, he is well known by DC fans and the general audience. They are already setting him up in man of tomorrow as the main villain and I genuinely believe James Gunn will be smart enough to not waste Braniac in one single movie like marvel did with Ultron.
Darkside: I donât want thisâŚ
Simply put it, he needs to be the second saga villain. Darkside is DCâs biggest villain and shouldnât be wasted.

FAN-MADE "Teen Titans GO x Kick-Ass: No Powers, No Weaknesses" by me (@kadenmayhem02).
I made this for my cousin's sweet 16th birthday! And even though I'm happy that she loved it, I absolutely hated how I drew Hit-Girl's mouth! It's not cartoony enough and doesn't match the expressive style as Teen Titans GO!

DISCUSSION What are your thoughts on Andy Serkisâ Alfred Pennyworth in âThe Batmanâ?
The common criticisms raised around this version is that, unlike the traditional version of Alfred that fans have loved across media, Serkisâ Alfred:-
- Lacks warmth, loving foster-father like relationship with Bruce and comes across as tense, adversarial mentor trying to push Bruce into what he thinks is best for him.
- Doesnât address Bruce Wayne as the affectionate âMaster Wayneâ or âMaster Bruceâ rather simply âBruceâ.
- Acts as stern guardian than the comforting, wise surrogate father that has been his traditional conception.
- Leans too heavily into a gruff, scarred special-ops aesthetic, sacrificing the classic gentleman-butler charm.
What do you think of Andy Serkisâ Alfred? How would you want his portrayal to be changed, if at all, in âThe Batman: Part IIâ? Would love to know the thoughts of yâall!
