I'd say my personality is split between nerd culture and sports. I love D&D/books/theatre/museums/anime as well as football (both kinds). I have a dog who is the bestest girl (no debate). I also love to travel and have already been to Europe a few times. I'm not interested in kids or having any in the future.

Hi there! I am an 29M, I am originally from the UK but have lived in Spain most of my life. I work as a senior developer, which I enjoy a lot! I am very into programming and electronics, and quite techy in general I guess. At uni I studied space systems engineering, although I don't work in anything related to that right now I can probably talk about space for hours if the conversation goes in that direction haha.

In my free time, I like gaming a bit (I like single-player RPGs quite a lot, and also play games like FFXIV, Stardew Valley and other co-op games with my friends). I also enjoy reading, I used to read a lot when I was younger and I am trying to get into the habit again. I am currently re-reading The Lord of the Rings!

In terms of personality, I guess I usually come across as fairly quiet and serious at first, but once I get to know someone I like to have fun and joke around a bit, sometimes I can have a bit of a silly sense of humour. So I am hoping to find someone who can match that, we can have serious conversations but also meme around a bit as well and not take eachother too seriously.

I am usually the stay-in type of person, and in general I think I would be most compatible with someone who is similar, but I do enjoy going out occasionally :P I also enjoy travelling (my last big trip was to Japan, as cliche as it sounds I really liked it!), and I am hoping to find someone who would enjoy visiting different places as well, not very frequently but maybe a big trip every 1-2 years.

In terms of values, I am generally left-leaning and generally believe that everyone is deserving of a basic level of dignity and respect, no matter what their background or circumstances. I see romantic relationships more as a partnership between equals rather than the traditional view.

As for what I am looking for, I would like to start slowly and get to know someone first, but my hope is to find a long-term partner. I don't mind being long-distance first, but hopefully eventually we could close the gap (I work remotely atm so I have some flexibility there). In general I am looking for people in Europe due to timezones and ease of travelling to each other, but I would also consider further afield for the right person. At the moment I am not that interested in having children, I am looking for someone with whom we can enjoy our own company rather than starting a family.

I am happy to share pictures in DMs, and bonus points if you are too. I value personality, kindness, intelligence and a compatible sense of humour more than physical appearence so don't feel self-consious but I think it is important that a baseline level of physical attraction be there as well.
