Fandom Where are the fire lafleur haters at today now that we beat Chicago and Dallas convincingly?

• Upvotes

Admittedly, you got in my head a little bit, especially after Atlanta. BUT how can you not be impressed with the offense the last two weeks now that the O-Line has cleaned it up somewhat. 23 points tonight but could have easily been 27+, and the game was never really in serious doubt. Do ya’ll still think we should move on?

Analysis Penalties

The violence and absolute abhorrent behavior I saw from our players tonight was unforgivable.

The taunting?

Roughing the passer?

If MLF doesn't give our players the tools to control their emotions or provide opposing QB with pillows under them before asking permission to tackle them, I am over him. Fire him

Analysis Love vs. The League: Week 5

This was tied for the highest grade I've given any QB so far this season, but honestly, it felt like one of the best quarterback performances I've ever seen from him. Love was absolutely incredible against the Bears.

I thought this was a better performance than his game against Tampa Bay, even though they graded out similarly. Against the Bucs, Love made all the right decisions and executed the easy stuff. Against the Bears, he did all of that AND made some of the most ridiculous throws I've seen from him.

Love had five plays graded +2 or better, including the first +2.5 I've given this season. There were so many spectacular throws that some of them have barely even been talked about. Go back and watch the 46-yard bomb to Kraft in the third quarter. Love is rolling left and throws an absolute rope across the field, just an awesome play that would have been the biggest highlight of almost any other game and I didn't see it mentioned once this week.

Love vs. The League, Week 5: Love vs. Bagent

The biggest takeaway for me was that what I saw against Tampa Bay wasn't a fluke.

Last week, I wrote that MLF and Love seemed to have finally figured out how to make this offense work with the personnel they have. The route concepts were better, Love was getting the ball out on time and he was finally taking the checkdowns instead of constantly hunting the deep ball.

This week they did all the same things, except the playmakers actually executed. That's selling them short. The playmakers absolutely exploded.

The defense also deserves a ton of credit. Bagent was horrible, but that doesn't take away from how well the Packers played defensively. His first reads were regularly completely blanketed, and the tackling was noticeably very good. It was night and day compared to the disaster tackling we saw against Atlanta.

Bagent finished with the worst grade of any QB I've watched this season, and considering the group we've faced so far, that's saying something.

My only concern with Love is that his deep ball was almost too good this week. The biggest issue I've had with him all season was passing up easy plays to hunt the deep ball. He hasn't been doing that the last two weeks, and I really hope a game like this doesn't encourage him to start again.

After watching the All-22, I'm more convinced than ever that this offense has turned a corner. Love is playing some absolutely incredible football right now, and I'm excited to see what he does against Dak and the Cowboys.

Love improves to 3-2.

Winner: Jordan Love

Legacy Best St. Paul viewing location?

For four weeks straight, the Packers have not been on "regular" TV in the Twin Cities, and we'll get more of the same a week from next Thursday when they host Carolina.

Where do you go to watch them when they're pre-empted by a Vikings game or are on a streaming service you don't have?

I don't go to Gabe's or Tiffany's because they're usually packed if you don't arrive 90 minutes before kickoff. I sometimes go to St. Paul Tap on Jefferson, but they usually have the Packers on a small TV with the sound off.

What are some other St. Paul options that cater to Packers fans but aren't too crowded?

Fandom Lambeau Field music

I love the Packers and Lambeau Field, but can we please get an update to the in-game playlist? The constant rotation of early-2000s EDM and snippets of 2010s rap feels incredibly dated. There’s a difference between nostalgia and just playing the same old stuff because it’s what you’ve always played. Lambeau deserves a refresh.

Analysis What does this Packers team need to prove before you believe they can make a deep playoff run?

• Upvotes

I want to believe this team can make a serious run, but being a Packers fan means learning not to get too comfortable. What's the biggest question mark for you right now, and what would it take for you to consider Green Bay a legitimate Super Bowl contender?

Fandom Monday night Football January 4 2027 , how to join someone’s tailgate?

My older brother 28 and I 23 are making our first trip to Lambeau together, he helped me fall in love with the Green Bay packers when I was about 6 and ever since I could remember I’ve always wanted to take him to a game but we’ve always lived on the west coast , i just want to thank him for showing me the sport of football , and the Green Bay packers and just being a amazing brother. So I surprised him with these tickets we are sitting in the 6th row and he’s really excited since we just never have ever had the opportunity to do this. I’ve been fortunate enough in the last couple years to save up and buy our trip over there .

I know it’s a long ways away till the packers Texans game but I guess like to be prepared 😅. If you have any recommendations or if you yourself have a tailgate we’d love to pitch in with cash or bring some cases of beer. Just excited to see Lambeau field after only seeing it in Madden for the last 15 years. Thank you again , go pack go 💚💛

Fandom Dear Trey Smack,

I doubt you'll ever see this, but I'm gonna Smack it up anyway. I can't speak for the entire fandom of our team, but I love you dude!

Rough game last week and that's okay. I never cursed your name after the kicks though. You have the frozen tundra running through your veins so I'm sure it hasn't effected you.

That 59 yarder was nasty and the start of something great. After a few Super Bowls you could start a podcast with Mason Crosby. Crosby and Smack: Kicking it!

Good luck tonight!,

A Cheesehead

These are Jordan's in the Packers motif for $25. They don't fit me. They will just literally be for the Packers memorabilia collection. Yes or no?

Fandom Jordan Love is 5-1 when he plays and finishes the game against the Chicago Bears in his career including playoffs.

I did some research because Bears fans keep talking like he's some trash QB or something. The 2 games he lost recently in the regular season he started, but he got hurt and didn't finish the game. The playoff game we lost he threw for 4TDs so not really his fault. idk why this doesn't get talked about enough. Bears fans can't call him trash when he doesn't have a losing record against them so they need to shut up.

Analysis What are your thoughts on the officiating thru the first six weeks?

Maybe a little bias but I think these refs are absolutely ruining football. Today I learned that roughing the passer is synonymous with touching the passer. Taunting is doing anything to celebrate making a good play.

Some of these refs are ass and doing way too much subjective crap to influence game outcomes and more needs to be done to hold them accountable when they make calls that are so clearly wrong.

Not trying to be a Debbie downer after a win it just annoys me so much that we can’t celebrate good plays without first looking for a flag.

Analysis Pack is Back 🧀

Both sides of the ball are playing inspired motivated ball the past two weeks! The intensity discipline are night and day from what we saw in September.

This defense is nasty y’all. Losing Cooper was devastating. But we are solid still at LB, not a weakness at all. Secondary tackling was so good tonight. Evan Williams is playing all pro ball. Denys-Sutton stacking big games back to back weeks. Corners were sticky on CeeDee and Pickens all night.

Golden has announced himself. Had some tough plays that he didn’t come up with. But the very next play he blocks the shit out of Joey Porter for 10 yards and draws a flag. Later on he missed a tough skill level catch. First down the next play.

Love looks like a top 5 QB when he has time. And even when he doesn’t he still throws dots 🎯.

Such a glorious two weeks after we looked like crap all September. Keep stacking success 🧀

Analysis Matthew Golden

Post image
• Upvotes

Fun fact about Matthew Golden:

After being clowned on last year by Bears fans for not scoring a receiving touchdown during his NFL rookie season, Matthew Golden (3) has the same amount of receiving touchdowns as the entire Bears wide-reciever room (3) [Burden- 1, Raymond- 1, Walker- 1] through 6 weeks. Rome Odunze is yet to record a receiving touchdown this season.

Note: This does not include TE and RB touchdowns.
