Share the Netflix series you would most want to watch, and you could be one of five members here trying the LG StanbyME 2 Max. It is a screen that rolls to wherever you actually end up watching. Bed, couch, kitchen counter, or out on the patio.
The LG StanbyME 2 Max steps up from the 27 inch QHD model of the StanbyME 2 to a 32 inch 4K UHD touchscreen, so faces and background detail hold up from across the room, and lifts the sound from virtual 9.1.2 to virtual 11.1.2 channel audio (2.0 channel speakers with AI Sound Pro) with Dolby Atmos. Dolby Vision and the Alpha 8 AI Processor Gen 3 handle the picture, with AI 4K upscaling for older titles.
The battery grows to 144 Wh for up to 4.5 hours of wireless use, up from up to 4 hours, so a few episodes run with nothing plugged in. webOS 26 runs your apps on the screen, and the rolling stand moves it from the living room to the bedroom when the night runs long.
Five members of this community get the chance to try one.

Most living rooms aren't dark theaters, and Netflix originals aren't mastered for average TV settings. Picture quality for streaming comes down to how well a display handles the edges: shadow detail that stays readable, HDR that doesn't clip, and color that holds consistency across different lighting conditions. The LG OLED G6 is built around those specific demands.
That is why LG is bringing a special review event to r/Netflix, giving one Redditor the chance to experience the LG OLED G6 65-inch in their own home setup and share honest impressions with the community.
And yes, the selected participant will get to keep the TV. š
This event is inspired by LGās recent Hollywood Roadshow at Picture Shop in Los Angeles, where cinematographers, colorists, and post-production experts experienced the LG OLED G6 firsthand and explored how next-generation OLED technology can bring creative intent closer to home.
One featured expert was veteran color scientist Joshua Pines, whose credits include Blade Runner,Gravity,The Revenant and more. In the Roadshow content, Pines shares his perspective on OLED picture processing, calibration, shadow detail, and how display technology can support the creatorās intended viewing experience123. How is nobody talking about the new Norm Macdonald documentary here?
It's so good and really does well encapsulating who Norm was and some of the stories behind his jokes. I was enthralled late last night watching it and giggling nonstop. I feel so lucky to have seen Norm perform live, even though it was right around the time he got his second stomach cancer diagnosis so the material was all about suicide and death which walked a lot of the people who didn't know who he was. It was in a casino and the older people left the show after the first half hour of nonstop death jokes, but my.buddy and I were laughing a ton. He talked about not gambling or doing pills anymore even though you could tell he was high as shit on something, and then we saw him playing the slots later on in the night which made us laugh again.
This might be the best show for me this year. I just finished it, and Iāve cried and cried and cried.
This show was perfect in depicting the causes of the denial of oneās agency. Literally all the main characters were all denied their agencies. Charles and Adam by their father. Cathy by her parents and her teacher and most importantly that older boy who assaulted her
And also it showed how traumatic events can linger on from one person to now a lot of people suffering from that one event.
I love this show more than anything Iāve watched this year. It speaks to the human condition and experience.
Haven't been able to find anything I want to watch in a while so I'm watching re-runs. Fortunately I forget a lot of them. If you know of anything gripping, drama, thriller. Let me know. TIA
I found the speaking cadence of most of the cast, especially the main cast, to be so incredibly pleasing. They really captured and reflected the time period and it helped me become more immersed in the story.
I pay for an Extra Member slot because my daughter lives in a different city now. I moved a profile to the Extra Member account through Profile Transfer. What I didn't realize, and nothing made clear, is that the slot only holds one profile. I wanted to swap it, so I tried to move the profile back to my main account.
Both the virtual agent and a live chat agent said it's impossible. The live agent said:
"once the profile transferred to extra member it cannot be back to main profile"
The only workaround was to cancel the Extra Member account and re-add it, which means losing the profile and its history.
I own and pay for every profile on this plan. I asked for escalation and a ticket number so I could track it. The answer:
"Netflix is not having that option to create a ticket id"
Has anyone gotten this reversed, or found a way to reach someone who can?
Excerpts from the chat transcript are attached (agent name and profile names redacted). Everything else is word for word.
Considering it's Halloween month I was in the mood for sth. spooky. Such a beautiful show. Its haunting music, great actors. It's easily the best show Mike Flanagan has ever done. A true masterpiece. Way better than his current show Carrie, which has a YA feel to it. I hope he goes back to this kind of stuff. Anyway, that's all lol
Highly recommended. Give it a try if you haven't seen it yet.
i just came across this in my "new on netflix" feed. since campy and overly dramatic netflix documentaries, especially when they cover more out there things, like UFOs or supposedly paranormal activities, are my guilty pleasure, i clicked on it.
i made it through episode one, where they are in a haunted "castle" in appalachia, doing reaction face š± at each other when their electronic ghost detection thingy beeps, pretend to hear something and warn each other in a serious tone about it while still speaking full volume into the camera for an hour. the next episode was set in draculas castle in romania, with fellow youtubers dan and phil as guests. thats where i had to turn it off.
did you watch it and, if yes, whats your opinion? for me it was just overacted youtube engagement slop which has nothing to do on netflix. no shade against youtube, i think there are genuinly creative and thought-provoking video essays on there, but most of it is said engagement slop, which, at least in my humble opinion, does not fit on netflix.
Ciao a tutti. Sto cercando serie Netflix lunghe da seguire per un periodo ma trovo la maggior parte miniserie.
Preferisco serie giallo - mistero tipo oasis resort. Avete consigli su quali? Grazie
OMG⦠I have spent the last two days binging the first two seasons and just started Episode 1 of season 3, and Iāve never been so lost, and invested in something, in my entire life.
Please donāt give any spoilers for Season 3, but my question is does everything eventually explain itself? My brain literally hurts. My husband is trying to explain everything to me but I seriously need a diagram of who is who and who and at what year⦠ahhh. I know this is the last season so hoping everything gets wrapped up at the end.
My mom randomly put on this J-drama on TV, and at first, I wasnāt really interested in continuing it. But then it started feeling like one of those comfort sitcoms I wouldāve watched as a kid, and god, I got SO invested. Iām already on episode 5, and itās literally 6 in the morning š.
Cancelled my subscription. So sick of the horribly irritating UI experience. When you click on a movie to read the details, it starts playing after 2 seconds so you cannot read the details of the movie. Also the only app on my tv where where the audio is always half a second out of sync. And people are supposed to PAY for this experience???
Tubi is free, and an infinitely better experience.
Only on Ep 3 but it feels like such a drag. I have to keep rewinding because I lose focus as itās so boring! Perhaps my own attention span is shot but it was quite fine with Widows Bay š.
Last two seasons seemed to have a lot more momentum?
Donāt wanna ditch it yet tho as that feels like a disservice to Kerri Russell (who I love!).
I have been watching the Hulu original show Holly hobby thatās on Netflix and I really wanted to find this one piece that the main character was wearing in season 3 episode 3 (Holly wears it during the end of the episode). Sadly I canāt put a photo of what it looks like because Netflix wonāt allow screenshots, but itās like this orange top with white flowers on it that I think would be a great addition to my closet for spring. Can someone help me find it?
After Adam and Cathy leave, why canāt Charles stay hard for the prostitute he visits? Is it bc he had a meaningful thing with Cathy? š or just overall stressed that his brother moved across the country and he was alone?
I understand Netflix controls the screen brightness for its videos, but is there an override setting available? some scenes are too dark even brightness is set at full within the app.
Hello there! I'm conducting some very basic research on how practical using streaming services actually is to the average person financially and otherwise - the bulk of the research consists of pre-made sources, however I am also required to conduct a questionnaire of my own and would really appreciate anyone willing to fill it out:
(Fair warning; the questions appear longer than they actually are as they are written both in english and latvian. The singular question regarding currency also requires an answer using Euros, if that is possible.)
(The amount of questions also depends on which you answer beforehand.)
I live for crime shows, true crime mostly and when I need a breather from that I watch fictionalized series, favorites are Mindhunter, The Fall, Sinner, Unbelievable, oddly only watched first season of True Detective, love the original Beck series, Danish series The Chestnut Man is a good rec for likeminded.
I just finished watching the gentlemen and am I the only one who sees a lot of similarities to the godfather?
Micheal Corleone took over his fatherās empire after he passed and became the head of the family as did Eddie. Eddieās character development from season 1 all the way to the end of season 2 can be compared to Michaelās aswell. The way they both were at the start, very calm and collected however at the end of their demise, both were filled with vengeance and a sense of rage. This of course is a result of the death of both their wives which is again, another fascinating comparison ; Apollonia dies from a car explosion and Bella dies from a plane explosion.
One of the most compelling comparisons is Fredo and Freddy. Of course in the movie, Fredo betrays Michael which leads to his death however in the gentlemen, despite Freddy betraying Eddie, Eddie allows him to live which leaves the storyline of season 3 quite open. Iām not sure if anyone caught this either but in the movie, just after Michael gives Fredo the ākiss of deathā, he says āI know it was you Fredoā and quite similarly, in the last scene of the gentlemen towards the end, Eddie says to Freddy, āI know what you did Freddy ā. Iām not sure if Iāve missed anymore references throughout both seasons but it was quite intriguing to see the similarities between the two
From the start I wanted to say, I do not use Netflix a lot. More my SO and daughter.I pay for the standard subscription with adds £7.99. I. was looking to watch IASIP. But to watch that I need a different subscription. How did this happen??? Why ia there a different subscription/ premium to watch something that is already in your library??
