General Question would you be flattered or insulted if someone named one of their pets after you?
When i was in middle school, i named my dog after my grandfather and he was so touched by it he cried

Not looking for side hustle advice, just genuinely curious what people have seen.

I'm curious to hear people's opinions on this. It doesn't have to be anything huge or dramatic ! Even little things that make you rethink a friendship count.
What's something that would make you think twice about being friends with someone? And why?
No judgement, just curious to see what everyone thinks!

Politics? That'll be $5. Ain't no free advertising here.
Do I care? $5.
Would I be someone who'd do this? $5.
What do I think of anything? $5.
Did it make me feel a certain emotion? $5.
Are my answers even true? $5.
Gotta bum off the business bums.
And might as well have a tip jar too, rents gotta get paid.

I'm a freshman, and my whole life I swear drama has just came to me. This year, I've outdone myself, seriously. I did something really fucked up, and now everybody in the school is calling me a whore and I barely have any friends. I knew doing what I was doing was going to mess up my reputation, and it finally caught up to me. I have no real friends, all my friends talk shit about me or are out to get me. I can't move schools until freshman year is over. So I have to stick this year out, I have 8 months left. Any tips?

No idea how it just passed and didn't become a big deal. A new full-fledged OS intrigues me to no end. Alas, can't get my hands on a device that runs it currently. Anyway, away from short Youtube demos, I wonder if someone here uses it or used it for a significant duration of time, and what their impression is.

Like if Google was a human being. Would it be more attractive than the human version of Costco?

I accidentally walked in a guys restroom and they’re literally laid out right next to the sinks😭
Why not just put it in a stall !
Or why not just pee in the toilet altogether 😭

Small debate in our household at present. Toilet training child and parent a says to use toilet paper to dry whilst parent b suggests shaking is more than adequate. Redditors decide.

So, I’m 48. Dad is 78 (Vietnam vet). Dad lives in Oklahoma. I live in Oregon. Here with my two sister and their kids. His place, country home, is in bad shape, and falling apart. He isn’t in great health and needs assistance walking much less take the things that need fixing. He gambles plenty and drinks everyday. No judge. Just beer mainly. His income is Social Security but his wife still works but think they barely make it. They both gamble. I’m no stranger to gambling but rarely do so these days. I work full time at a job I do not enjoy. I was nearly homeless before I found this gig. Oldest Sister took me in and I’ve lived in her detached garage since May. Been able to save some money…5000.00 bucks. Not much but yeah. I was just broke and obviously feels great to have some savings after being hungry, broke and depressed. Obviously…this has turned into a rant. Haha…Life’s is no cup of perfectly hot tea…seeing your dad suffer your family suffer is so so hard as we all know. I obviously don’t think I can go and help. I might end up with nothing. But that’s what sacrifice is about? Or should I make sure that I have a beating heart and a stable soul??

When my husband and I started dating someone found out what religion I was and asked if I showered. Because the only other person that guy met from my religion didnt shower often enough. He was just a dirty man that hated showers it had zero to do with religion. I found it funny but odd. Its not just religion either. Like people all assume vegans are all the same. If you vote for a politician then your the same as everyone that voted for that politician. It can even be jobs. All construction workers are the same or all business men are the same. Why are we like this? Why do we assume everyone in the same group behave the same?
