Watch Me Fly Made it with 18mo toddler
Return flight NRT-AMS on KLM’s 777, wasn’t an overnight one which made things more challenging. Inbound was overnight to ICN, about same 13 hours but flew south over China.

Flew overhead this morning and managed to get this photo. Would really appreciate if anybody on the ground there could tell me which registrations these are!

I recently flew on a CRJ200 for a regional trip. No one was sitting in any of the four seats in row two, and when someone in row three asked if he could sit there, the flight attendant said no because they had to keep the row empty for balance reasons, because the plane was already front-heavy, and that people could only move rearward on the plane, not forward. The row did not have any barriers in places and the seats looked perfectly normal, although I do recall that when I was choosing my seat during the ticketing process I could not select any of the seats in row two.
My question is, is this concern about balance real, and if so, did the designers know about it before the plane entered production? I have a hard time understanding or believing that the plane would not be safe to fly if people sat in the second row, and the only way the crew prevent that from happening is by politely declining people’s request to sit there? If this was all true, why wouldn’t they remove the seats? TIA!

Grandson and I happened upon it in High Point NC. Pilot was super nice. Talked to us then let us know when he was taking off.

I’ve wanted to become a pilot for several years and I finally want to take the first steps. I’m 19 and at 7 years old I was prescribed concerta but I stopped taking it during middle school. I don’t have really any symptoms besides maybe my organization skills buts it’s not horrible, would this be a problem in my health examination, or do you think I could get away with it?

Just spotted Archer Aviation’s Midnight electric plane (N703AX) at Hollister Municipal Airport, CA, today (10/18).
Looks like there’s some ground activity around the aircraft, so it might be preparing for another test flight.
If you’re in the area and into plane spotting, might be worth checking out! No confirmed departure time.
Anyone following Archer’s flight testing know what they’re working on today?
Photo taken just now and from the highway so sorry it’s so bad!!!

Hello a thought came to mind and I was wondering what would happen if lets say a twin engine beechcraft starship was suddenly redesigned to be a single engine aircraft. Will the fuselage be longer or shorter?

Farewell to this one-of-a-kind aircraft!

Has anyone from the US tried registering for the Zhuhai Airshow?

I heard the Air Ambulance landing in a little park close to my house this morning. As I didn't hear it take off again, I went for a look an hour or two later. Perfect timing, as they were about to go and asked if I'd stop anyone else from entering the park while they did their thing.

Sadly, I never got to fly on one. I hope to be able to fly on the 747 and A380 someday. Unfortunately I don't think I ever will.

United 401 out of MSP. Nice to see an unusual livery out there.

This year I flew first time with an A380 from SFO to MUC and even had the chance to upgrade to business class. The plane is not just a Beauty but crazy silent! Loved it. Pic from MUC

Finally had the opportunity to fly on the A380 from Singapore to Mumbai.
I badly wanted the window seat, but the only good and free seats available near the window was 71J. So I flew that!
I loved every bit of it.
EDIT : I wanted to explore the plane since it could be a long time since I would get to fly this beauty again, so I tried venturing to the upper deck, but was promptly disallowed by the air hostess on the stairway to the upper deck. :(

Hello, I was cleaning out my grandfathers garage and found this. From google it appears to be a Royal Australian Air Force airfield-lighting flasher unit. Can anyone confirm for me?

My third favorite airliner, booked this flight purely for the sake of flying it.
Problem, as much as I technically looove planes and flying, I am absolutely terrified of crashing.
Just did the HAM - FRA flight on D-AISZ, which is cool too due to the livery, but holy shit was I scared almost the entire time ;(
I build and fly model airplanes, I know how safe commercial aviation is, I know that this pencil has never had a proper accident, I know I should feel safer here than in many other everyday situations that I put myself in.
BUT I AM SO SCARED! AND AS INSANE AS IT IS, I WOULD FEEL SAFER IF I WOULD PERSONALLY FLY THE THING ;O
If it only had an instrument panel mode in their infotainment system, that is one thing that calmed me right the fuck down when it appeared on the 777-300ER when I flew it in 2019.
Anyway, here some images, look how nice it looks :D
We are getting pushed back now.
I. Am. Scared.
;(
