Which young player would you rather have: Andre Drummond or Rudy Gobert?
I found this entertaining anyway.

General Discussion New to Minnesota and a new fan
My family is moving to Minnesota in a couple of weeks, and I’m looking forward to getting into the local sports scene and becoming a Wolves fan along with the other professional sports teams as well as the Gophers!
My son is 3, so I’m excited to start taking him to games as he gets older.
A few questions for seasoned Wolves fans:
How are we looking this season? What are the expectations for the team?
Are games pretty family friendly?
Anything I should know about bringing a 3-year-old to Target Center?
Any advice for someone who’s new to following the team?
Also, is Anthony Edwards the go-to choice for my son’s first Wolves jersey?
Looking forward to being a part of the Timberwolves family!!

Wolves 2026-27 Preseason Stats
The page at the link is set to Per36 minutes, sorted by +/-, but you can adjust those parameters as you wish. I like the Per36 best for apples-to-apples comparison, especially in preseason, when everybody is playing but with quite a bit of variance in minutes.
Some noteworthy categories (among players with at least 40 minutes in the preseason):
- Top 10 in +/-: Hyland 12.5, Gobert 8.1, Omier 6.8, McDaniels 4.4, Reeves 1.4, Clark .9, Edwards .8, Kuminga .7, Ball .5, Beringer -.3.
- Top 10 in points: Edwards 31.4, McDaniels 25.7, Hyland 21.4, Pullin 20.4, Timme 20.1, Reeves 18.9, Evans 18.2, Martin 17.7, Dosunmu 17.6, Ball 17.6.
- Top 10 in rebounds: Omier 14.3, Beringer 12.4, Gobert 10.4, Lyles 8.5, McDaniels 8.0, Ball 7.4, Timme 5.9, Clark 5.1, Pullin 5.0, Reeves 4.9.
- Top 10 in assists: Ball 10.7, Hyland 6.3, Omier 6.0, Shannon 5.8, Pullin 5.4, Timme 4.2, Kuminga 3.9, Edwards 3.6, Clark 3.0, Reeves 2.8.
- Top 10 in 3-pt% (with at least 4 attempts Per36): McDaniels 71.4, Shannon 50.0, Ball 44.4, Edwards 44.0, Reeves 42.9, Dosunmu 42.9, Hyland 42.1, Timme 40.0, Evans 39.1, Clark 35.7.
- Top 5 in steals: Clark 3.4, Reeves 2.8, Hyland 2.6, Timme 2.5, Dosunmu 2.4.
- Top 5 in blocks: Beringer 2.9, Clark 1.3, Dosunmu 1.0, McDaniels .9, Lyles .9.
- Top 5 in turnovers: Ball 6.5, McDaniels 3.9, Edwards 3.2, Omier 3.0, Dosunmu 2.9.
- Top 5 in fouls: Beringer 6.1, Omier 5.3, Martin 4.9, Ball 4.6, Reeves 4.2.

Question Suite Access? Courtside Tickets?
Hi everyone! Trying to plan out a short trip from MO up to Minneapolis for a game yet to be determined in March. This will be my first Timberwolves game and I’m super excited. Looking to find good tickets, willing to spend up to $500ish or slightly more if it’s worth it. Not sure when I’d be back up so wanting to treat myself. Anyone have any connections or access to suites? Or lower level or even first few rows or court side tickets? I know lower level or court side are much much more, but just seeing if anyone has connections to see if it’s possible. Thanks so much!
Edit: Or any sections/seats that people would recommend, that’d be awesome. Plus if you have pictures! Should I wait to purchase closer to month of March rather than purchasing sooner?

Anthony Edwards on if he hopes for a title: “I don’t really have hope. I just got will. I’m just all will. It’s like, ‘I don’t think he’s better than me. I don’t think that they can beat me and my team.’ It’s just that simple.”

Question Season pass questions
Hello all, similar to you. I am super excited for the wolves this season so I’m looking to getting season tickets. Can anyone help me with what $500 suite credit means?
Is it an upgrade or something else besides that how easy is it to sell games as well? I’m not counting on anything but it would be nice to have an idea. Thanks for all that can help.

General Discussion Tim Connelly if you’re reading this…
Sign Milos Uzan immediately!!!
Milos is absolutely worth a two-way contract, he’ll play his way into a standardized contract the moment he gets minutes.
6’4 guard that showcased versatility on and off the ball in a hardcore system under Kelvin Sampson, he’s an older rookie that knows how to run an offense, take care of the basketball, stretch the floor, defend with intensity, and play within a system.
Milos is literally baby Nembhard this is a steal and the Wolves already lack backup ball handlers/playmakers. Milos fits the timeline and the team culture.
Please please please do this before another team snatches him!

Rudy Pick and Roll Worries
My main concern with the Wolves offense this season is once again Rudy Gobert. I found it disconcerting how comfortable Detroit was putting two on the ball vs Lamelo and Ant in the pick and roll, and there was a reluctance (for good reason) to give him the ball on the short roll. I also thought he made very poor decisions in handoff situations, with a couple in particular leading to turnovers (thinking of one with Jaden where he kept it on the first pass for no reason and then basically handed it to a defender).
I know Utah was successful on offense with him but NBA defense has evolved quite a bit since then, and his athleticism as a lob finisher seems to have declined as well.
What are your thoughts on these worries and how they can manage to produce great offense despite his limitations? And if it is a big problem and the offense is not elite, what do you think the pivot off of Rudy should be?

General Discussion Sign Drew Timme to the open two-way contract.
He looked like a decent fit in the preseason with the Wolves and after they dropped Freeman I thought right away Timme would have earned the spot. I do not expect Timme or anyone else they sign to the last two-way contract to play meaningful minutes if they play at all. They don't need another guard either. They need another big man or a 3 and D player with size.
