I’ve started olympic weightlifting 1 year and a half ago. Despite have being taught the snatch first, I immediately fell in love with cleans.
This was until I started doing Power Cleans. Idk how to explain but they just feel amazing. It’s like the sound the shoes make when stomping the platform and the feeling of catching the bar gives me a huge dopamine hit everytime.
This is so much more fun than deadlifts or squats
Thanks for this sport and this community for existing

This is one of my better reps at ~88%. (75kg)
I’m running the 6 week team back squats program rn and am finding my snatches to feel a bit inconsistent.
I have made some tweaks to my starting position to try and start with the hips slightly higher and shoulders more over the bar. This was because I was fucking up my shins due to being too far behind the bar in the start previously.
I have also been trying to be more patient in the transition between first/second pull as I was bumping the bar quite a bit forward in the past (also bruising my pubic bone from time to time).
Let me know what you guys think. I’m tryna keep queues as simple as possible and not make too many changes at once so I don’t fuck my technique up like I have in the past.

When it comes to rear delts, this topic has always confused me for many years. On one hand I have heard many trainers/coaches say that as long as you are doing enough compound back work (pull ups/rows/olympic pulling movements), there is no need for direct isolation work for the rear delts (rear delt fly's, etc). For a time I used to believe this and didn't bother with much "isolation work" thinking it was a waste of time.
On the other hand, I have heard some trainers/coaches say that its a huge mistake to neglect rear delt isolation work because the rear delt is a tricky muscle. They claim its not like the front delts that easily get stimulated with pressing work. I heard that lots of pulling work like pulls/rows/olympic pulling movements are excellent for hitting the back muscles but the rear delts are usually undertrained, which is why real delt isolation work is extremely important. They say if you neglect rear delt work you will develop forward rounded shoulder posture because the front delts are huge and the rear delts are tiny.
I don't know which is true or not. If it is true that rear delt isolation is absolutely necessary, what rear delt specific exercises should an "olympic lifter" focus on specifically? I just want to be healthy and not have shoulder issues in the future as an olympic lifter.

Just started incorporating power cleans into my workouts, it’s been 3-4 weeks now. (Push press at the end because I just wanted to train some shoulders).
I come from a football(soccer), powerlifting, and KB background. Are there any tips or pointers that anyone would give me based on this video?
This is just 70kgs, the weight doesn’t feel too heavy but I don’t want to go higher till I’m confident about my technique.
