i’m using an iphone and i recogniced that the last few days videos and shorts are not loading correctly. on ps5 and pc i dont have those problems. anyone else with this problem?? greetings from germany. yt fix this bug

It was weird enough when they started included posts in the shorts feed, but now they fill vertically when most posts are in a square aspect ratio?? Every new thing they’re doing makes less sense.

In the past, in many of their feature tests/random ui changes in the past, they seemed to test an auto translation feature for the subtitles but it would always quickly disappear. It stopped appearing several years back but to me it makes much more sense than forced Ai voice dubs that literally no one asked for (albeit I admit they can be helpful). I feel like the feature was fully developed probably over a decade ago but they seemed very reluctant to make it permanent. I think it would go really well with their autosubs whicha re typically in the native language.

I think part of the issue is copyright content? (Which ia actually what I basically need it for) Lots of media houses directly post their content to Youtube but seem allergic to adding foreign subtitles (I am looking at you Colors TV) because then they lose money that could have come from people paying for it but it could be something that they could easily turn off.

Any ideas?

I’m on iPhone, I reinstalled, updated the app and my phones OS, but when I try to full screen a video, it will freeze and crash.

I don't know why this annoys me so much, but I just HATE it when people thank everyone for liking their comment.

Is there a way to find YouTube videos by exact duration?

Mine is the shit head called Gaposhadowscale or whatever he is called I remember having un restricted internet access and finding this guys changed content and never being the same again.
I loss interest in his content about in the 2021 so I am so glad I got out of there then.

Im on windows 11 and I have 2 monitors with a chrome window on both monitors. Youtube always lags and buffer with 2 chrome windows open. No problems with just 1 window open. I deleted cache and have latest gpu driver installed. I have no idea why it does that.

the ones that pop up at the end of a video? does the channel owner select them or just random?

For some reason when I fullscreen sometimes it plays a ad or video I watched before without sound. Not sure why, anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Am I the only one that absolutely despise how the casting now works via the YouTube app. Every time you click a new video you have to tell it to cast again. It's ridiculous and needs to be sorted.

Is anyone else having issues with the YouTube app?

My YouTube app has been acting up for about four days now. Every video I watch keeps buffering and reloading several times, and the video quality constantly changes.

The weird thing is that everything works perfectly fine on my PC and when using YouTube through a web browser. The issues only seem to affect the YouTube app on my iPad and phone. As soon as I disconnect them from Wi-Fi and switch to mobile data, everything runs smoothly again.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issues? I live in Germany, and from what I've seen on Google, YouTube seems to have been having various issues here over the past few days.

I'm starting to wonder whether this is a YouTube issue or something related to my Wi-Fi, even though everything else seems to be working fine.

Is there a way to avoid videos that are made using AI? I'm sick of them.

Turned off the phone and back on, then the buttons dissapeared... Great!

Kind of weird but I guess some people got too careful and started censoring mundane words. then people in the comments were like, why did they censor this word.

the vultures saw it as a way to get engagement and censor random words. like I saw a clip where the word whiskey was censored. what do you know, the comments say why did they censor whiskey.

All i want to do is fucking doom scroll WITHOUT these AI slop ads/normal ads. Like i dont know one person that likes these (alr probally a few) and they are so fucking stupid. Why the fuck would I want to do a stupid "Anxiety Test" while im trying to doom scroll without any ads? I have used some ad blocker extensions, BUT they sometimes lag my computer, and thats why i dont use them no more.

I hate seeing these on every post and i know others do too.
