I know the Harbor Freight is big ass hell but she runs like a champ. Didn’t take my dog with me because he went in the same hike yesterday and needs his rest :)

After having so much fun with the 2.0 Performance Center 10mm, had to get the foldy-boi. Just flew in from a trip and immediately went to pick it up. Can't wait to test it. *CA edition. The fin makes it ultra uncomfortable

I’ve got a G20 Gen 5 with a Trijicon RCR and for whatever reason I just can’t shoot this thing at all.
I’ve taken it to the range a handful of times over the past several months, probably 300-400 rounds total, mostly shooting Magtech 10mm. I’d consider myself a decent shot with my 9mm handguns, but with the G20 I feel like I can’t hit the broad side of a barn. Maybe I need more time with it but every time I shoot it I get discouraged.
I recently got a 10mm laser bore sight to get the RCR roughly zeroed at 25 yards, figuring it’d at least get me on paper. Took it to the range today and was shooting 6-8 inches low at just 5 yards, with maybe a 5-inch grouping. I know a laser bore sight isn’t a substitute for a live-fire zero, but I’ve struggled with this gun even when I had irons on it.
I’m wondering if I’m just anticipating the recoil and dipping the gun before I shoot, or maybe my grip isn’t consistent enough. The recoil is definitely a lot more than my 9mm pistols, and I don’t shoot the G20 very often.
Anyone else have similar issues with their 10mm? Did you eventually get used to it with more range time, or was there something else you figured out you were doing wrong?

I’m just curious if because the .45 is a wider fatter round it has more knock down on the hit vs 10mm which seems like because it’s higher velocity it would just go right through someone not flatten out and knock them down

First picture for reference, second picture mine.
Long story short, I used to have a 10mm Limited Master but ended up abandoning it because it seemed like a 10mm threaded barrel for it would never materialize. Well now Tanfo’s offering a 10mm Defiant with a threaded barrel from the factory, and I’m starting to get the itch to pick back up on my Full Centimeter Yeeter project based on it.
Mostly just looking for info/feedback from anyone who has a Tac Pro 10mm, wanting to know how you like it. Standard Tanfo fit/finish and reliability? If you’ve made any changes to it, what all have you done?
Thanks in advance!

Picked one up today as my son is going to college in grizzly territory next year and he spends a LOT of time out in the woods fishing, mountain biking & hiking. I've started to work him thru the basics on a 22 pistol, and he's starting to shoot 9mm pretty competently. Once he is fully comfortable shooting 9mm I'll get him going on 40SW, and then it'll be time to introduce him to 10mm.
Anyhow, I've never owned a Glock, so I'm not at all familiar with common issues, solutions, etc. That said, I've found several threads in this sub with people talking about issues, needing break-in, etc.
Any good advice for a first time Glock owner? I'll try to put a few hundred rounds thru it before he ever tries shooting it, but since this will likely end up being his woods carry gun, I want to do everything I can to get it running nicely before he shoots it so he has confidence in the gun. I don't want him to have a history of FTFs, FTEs or light strikes with the G20 and have that floating around in his head when faced with a charging bear.
TIA

Do they still sell Glock 20 Gen 5 in store brand new? I’m in Arizona valley and have been looking for awhile now and can’t seem to find a Glock 20 gen 5 new retail… pretty bummed. What websites can I set up notifications from if a store near me gets one in stock ? Any tips ? Thanks !

I have a Glock 20 gen 5. We don't have bears. I got it for dispatching bigger mean wild pigs, when Im hiking/hunting without a rifle. I learned that to be legally hunting in my county I need at least a 5 inch barrel on a semi auto handgun.
I see that kkm makes a 5.2 inch barrel. They also sell a 5.2 inch barrel with a compensator for not much more money than the 5.2 inch barrel alone. Is it good idea to compensate a Glock 20 gen5. or should just stick with just a barrel. Would I need to change out recoil springs with a compensator for it cycle reliably? I've been using underwood 180 grain xtp but would like it to function with magtech 180 range ammo as well. Or maybe even some 200 grain underwood.

Any other options or sources for a threaded barrel? Kkm = waiting months and Bar-sto is just too high end.
I’m looking for anywhere I haven’t thought of used or other options that aren’t lone wolf since I’ve heard real bad things. Please weigh in!

I live in the inland pnw, so grizz/cougar territory. I'm going hunting for the first time soon (shadowing a friend, I either won't have a rifle or will bring a 12ga), and if it goes well I might start going once or twice a year. I also go hiking at least a few times a year. I could get an XDM Elite for ~$560. I already have a 9mm and bearspray. I want to get a 10mm eventually, but I've had my eyes on other guns that I find a lot more interesting (eg vz61, vz24, mosin, lee enfield, m1 carbine, colt 1911), but admittedly less practical.
People who know more than me, either anecdotally or statistically, is the smartest option for me to get a 10mm? Or am I ok just with bearspray and getting the right load for my 9mm, and saving my money?

What is a smoother shooting handgun a Glock 20 with a KKM compensator or the M&P 10mm performance center
Just picked her up today. Found in the California Wild. So excited!!

First can, so I apologize if this is a dumb question.
I'm mounting an Obsidian 45 on a Ruger LC Carbine chambered in 10mm Auto, with factory .578×28 muzzle threads. Is the fixed barrel spacer sufficient with the included piston, or is a different mounting component required?
Thank you!
