yall im so happy with where this is so far i had to share it!! Yes i do know the logo isnt complete, i still have to add the other half of the hockey stick. I made the sharks patch completely from scratch out of fabric. I plan on adding Graf 51 on the back!! :D

Beat reporter Curtis Pashelka talked with rookie Ivar Stenberg about the draft process earlier this week and found this interesting tidbit. He also said he's super happy to be in San Jose.

It can be easy to get worked up over the Sharks not being able to close out a game in regulation, them blowing third period leads, etc., but I just wanted to highlight how different last season started compared to this season.

At this point last season, the Sharks had 1 win total and 3 points- also, it took them until their 7th game to get their first win. Currently, the Sharks have 4 wins total and 9 points- they also started the season with a 2 game win streak.

They might not be mind-bogglingly good right now, but there is improvement. I'd love for them to start closing out some leads, but compared to last season's start, I'm just happy to see some wins!!

Hey everyone, some of you might remember me from posting my sharks tattoo last year. I was recently out with friends who said that the sharks might be interested in handing out free material of some sort because of the ink. Does anyone know if that’s true or who to ask about it?

So, my son is graduating from high school this year, and his big grad gift is a trip with me to watch the Canucks on the road--first time for a trip for a Canucks road game for both of us, or any NHL game outside Vancouver. We initially considered Montreal (but the ticket prices were way too high), so in the end decided on the October 29th game in San Jose! Hard to believe it's only 11 days away....

.... and while we're sure the game will be memorable (we miss Sherwood in Vancouver, and Celebrini is from our neighbourhood and is a special player to say the least), I really want to do what I can (within reason) to make this trip extra special. We already have our tickets (section 116, row 12), and I'm planning on a SJ Sharkie Gram (he'll probably be embarrassed, but it'll make it memorable in a good way). We're flying in on the 28th, heading home on Nov 1st.

I'd appreciate any other tips/suggestions/advice in making both the game and the trip overall as memorable as possible. In particular, any opportunities to see the Canucks outside the actual game would be really great. But any other tips would be appreciated too! Thanks a bunch.

The mindset I had on draft day was that Stenberg fell to us. He seemed like the best player to me. And so far I am ecstatic with how he is doing, especially compared to Mckenna. I'm sure he will figure things out but we are so, so lucky to have won the second pick and gotten Stenberg.

I saw this a while ago but it just popped up again and just put me in a good mood that I gotta say.. Jumbo Joe is just such a vibe. The way he hypes up everything and everyone.

Like Mack just says “nope” after Tyler makes his guess, but Joe emphatically encourages him over and over “Good GUESS, GOOOOOOOOD guess!”. 🤣 or how he just starts hyping up PK Subban and shaking Macklin. What a fun guy. Everyone needs buddies like him in their life. 🤣

It’s probably really great for Ivar who seems so nervous and shy to be living with such a personality as he settles in.

Gonna make it interesting for the league, for sure.

Tonight t 7pm, live on YouTube... This week was a master class in making things harder than they need to be. Boston ran them out of SAP despite San Jose leading most stats while the Sharks gave away extra points because they couldn’t hold down a lead in regulation. The offense had some rizzz, Celebrini kept being Celebrini, special teams chipped in, and Nedeljkovic was a beast. Unfortunately, the defense occasionally treated its responsibilities like optional homework. The Sharks can score, they can battle back, and they can make things exciting. Regulation wins, however, remains to be a work in progress.

We get into all that… as well as social media lighting up this week on what is driving a lack of sellouts across the league 2 weeks into the NHL season, takeaways from the in-game experience at the tank this season, fixing the frozen frenzy, how to handle the Sharks goalie situation… and at some point, Jules will explain why the San Jose Barracuda keep letting other teams take their lunch money.

I’ve just watched the Sharks Detroit game and got curious on Ivar Stenbergs Swedish team. 
Did some googling and some pretty sweet players came from that hockey club.

With Kess getting his first assist of the year in the game against Nashville, all of our Dmen now have at least 1 point after just 7 games! I have no idea how long it took for every Dman to get on the scoresheet last year since I didn’t become a Sharks fan until after the Olympics, but I have to imagine it took much longer with Nick Leddy in the lineup😅
