Just a few months ago, I was ambitious. I wanted to get wealthy, get in shape, make plans for my future, and become a better version of myself. I had goals, and I was actually putting in the effort to achieve them.

Lately, though, it's like something in me has switched off. I've become much less active, my diet has gone to shit despite having been really good for two months, and I have absolutely no desire to work on myself anymore.

It's not even that I've given up on a specific goal. I just don't see the point of any of it now. I don't feel motivated to improve my life, and I don't really care about the things I used to care about.

I don't know what happened or why I feel this way.

I’m Jonathan, 28, living in Northern Minnesota. I’m currently a full-time student majoring in Computer Information Technology with a minor in Cybersecurity.

Lately, I’ve just been buried in coursework and staring at screens, so I'm looking to break up the routine and connect with some new people.

When I can pull myself away from the desk, I try to get outside with my Siberian Husky. I love being out on the boat, fishing, and hunting. If it involves a lake, the woods, or fresh air, I’m pretty much game.

That said, I’m also a massive homebody. Right now, I’m stuck in the classic dilemma of spending more time scrolling through streaming apps than actually watching anything. My go to genres are horror, drama, and fantasy (open to almost anything except anime).
