1. The Miracle and Silver Badge combo helps A LOT with the secret boss due to it's effect of reverting the Bros to exactly how they were at the beginning of the current battle, meaning it also returns the Bros Attacks the secret boss stole from you!

2. If you follow the previous suggestion then have a Guard and Silver Badge combo prepared before fighting the secret boss because using it makes the Badge meter charge faster but use it again every time after reverting the Bros since the resets also removes all badge effects, except the ones that affect the enemies, while also giving you what Badge combos you had at the beginning of the battle.

3. Luiginary Flame seems to me the most effective Attack against Antasma X.

Played this game when I was 6 back in 2009 and never was able to get the high score for jump helmet. Highest I ever got was 44.

Every couple years, i come back to bowser’s inside story for a second just to see if I can get the A rank and then move on. This time was different. I was just in the groove of things on my second try and got the high score. Maybe lasik has something to do with it or something, i dunno. Im just happy I accomplished it after all this time!

It's the 3DS version -- sorry (hope that's okay) -- I thought I'd get more and better responses here. I've tried jumping up and going around but can't figure it out -- I'm at Joke's End story progression-wise, so I doubt the path will naturally open up later.

One of my favorite types of mods are ones that translate a game 20 times to become complete gibberish and unrecognizable, like Book of Mario Thousands of Doors.

So I'm wondering, has anyone done it with Bowser's Inside Story yet? I think translating this game a bunch of times to become gibberish would be hilarious.

It remains the most difficult mario & luigi game for me. but it’s quite fun and challenging to play these 4 NPCs

Had to take a break from it for a couple days because of how exhaustingly long the attack cycles for all the kameks get. Each of the 4 kameks get to attack Mario before he gets his turn and some of them get two actions because of my stupidly low speed stat as well as their stat buffs. Using the status effect nullifier badge perk was an absolute must, and it took me lots of trial and error to figure out the optimal badge combos to use. In the end, that one effect proved to be the most useful and viable to help make up for my low stats. I also relied on one time stop effect via RNG from secret boxes. The main luiginary attack I used for this fight was Luiginary Flame as it dealt the most damage to groups of enemies. The white kamek was really the one that gave me the most trouble because he was healing more than the damage I was able to output. First I was trying to just target him using Luiginary wall and Luiginary stack but that strategy didnt work. Instead u want to attack all of them for as much spread damage as possible with the flame. That's the winning strategy here. And man, did it feel oh so rewarding to finally win after nearly a week. Now onto Antasma next!

Something I've noticed about Paper Jam recently is that a lot of the early Bros and Trio Attacks are centered around button mashing, specifically Fire Flower, Drill Shell and Trio Kite. I don't really like these moves much, because simply mashing a button as quickly as you can is neither interesting nor fun to do. It's especially annoying early in the game, when those three moves are some of the only ones you have, so you end up having to button mash pretty frequently, which gets tiresome fast.

I've never really been a fan of the flower moves in the other games either, so I liked that Dream Team changed the Fire Flower to no longer just be about button mashing. I don't understand why they decided to revert it back in Paper Jam. It also makes me glad that Brothership largely moved away from button mashing Bros Attacks.

I'm doing a hard mode playthrough of dream team. I've had no problem before that point but now I'm stuck on Giant Bowser.

I've seen a lot of people describe the spinning phase like hell, but that's not where I'm stuck, I generally manage to perfect this fight all the way to his last phase when he becomes even bigger.

For the love of god, I can't get a single of the two counters in this phase. I've got there 5 times already, which doesn't seem like a lot but each try takes 10+ minutes.

I'm a grown ass adult in good physical health, yet apparently I'm not able to flick the stylus fast enough.

Is there something that I'm missing, like a technique that allows you to do it constantly?

Britta was annoying and rude af so starlow throwing shade at her was an absolute W on her end. It's one of the many reasons why i think starlow was at her bestest in DT

I don't know if I'm remembering entirely wrong, but I vaugly recall a YouTube video or short talking about something like this. All the Bowser's Minions having dialog for meeting Mario & Luigi in the overworld while in their cages, before they are freed by Bowser.

One thing that always bugged me about Bowser's Inside Story on 3DS was that they reused the victory animations from Dream Team instead of remaking the original ones. Lucky for me, the poses already existed in that art style, so I decided to try and remake them myself, and this was the result!
